AAFT Signed MOU With University in Mongolia

Busan: In a special event-World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp designed by International Youth Fellowship, a student educational and cultural body having its offices all over the World including India and Mongolia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Asian Academy of Film And Television and Ulaanbaatar Erdem University from Mongolia.

“AAFT is one of the best institutions in the World as far as film, television and media education is concerned. With an experience of 27 years in media education, we will be able to enhance our current courses and can launch more courses of different duration time to come. No body can compete with the qualifications of AAFT,” said Prof. Alima Dorj of Ulaanbaatar Erdem University, Mongolia while signing the MOU.

“We are happy to join hands with Mongolian University. We are already associated to the Republic of Mongolia through H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India in New Delhi. Recently we have also created Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum to promote relation between two countries. The efforts have been blessed by H.E. Khaltmaagiin Battulga President of Mongolia personally during his visit to New Delhi,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah was invited by the Mongolian University to visit their country to see for himself the day to day affairs of the University.

Third Edition of Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award Announced

New Delhi: “It was in 2018, we were the first one in India to announce the National level award after the name of our former Prime Minister Bharat Rattan Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the people who have contributed immensely towards the promotion of Indian art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

The award titled as Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award For Promotion of Art And Culture was constituted by AAA-Asian Academy of Arts in association with AAFT University of Media And Arts and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry immediately after the death of former Prime Minister to mark respect to his untiring contribution to the nation and art and culture of India, he himself was also a well renowned poet.

The awards are presented during the Global Literary Festival Noida happens in the grounds of Marwah Studios at Film city Noida. This time owing to Covid 19 the awards will be presented through web event. Global Literary Festival has been planned from 17th to 19th September 2020. The high profiled jury shall soon declare the name of the awardees of 2020.

Mahatma Gandhi Forum, Deendayal Upadhyaya Forum, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum, Sardar Patel Forum, Bhagat Singh Forum, Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishan Forum, Shakespeare Society, World Peace Development And Research Foundation and many other organizations are supporting the festival.

AAFT School of Photography Celebrated World Photography Day

Noida: AAFT School of Photography in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated World Photography Day, a day to remember the art, craft, science and history of Photography.

“A picture is equal to thousand words probably everyone knows about it. Then why not to write these thousand words in best of manner, keeping that in mind we decided to open a AAFT school of Photography and educate and train students in their most passionate interest and hobby,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah addressing large number of students and professionals from the same fraternity.

“Photography is the story I fail to put into words. In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do,” added Dr. Marwah who repeated some quotes said by legendary photographers.

Dr. Marwah also informed about the different Photography exhibitions and competitions he has been conducting during last twenty-seven years and during Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week and Global Festival of Journalism.

World Humanitarian Day Observed at WPDRF

New Delhi; World Peace Development And Research Foundation in association with AAFT University of Media And Arts observed World Humanitarian Day on 19th of August.

“On World Humanitarian Day the world commemorates humanitarian workers killed and injured in the course of their work, and we honour all aid and health workers who continue, despite the odds, to provide life-saving support and protection to people most in need,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a webinar to observed WHD.

This year World Humanitarian Day comes as the world continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic over recent months. Aid workers are overcoming unprecedented access hurdles to assist people in humanitarian crises in 54 countries, as well as in a further nine countries which have been catapulted into humanitarian need by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This day was designated in memory of the 19 August 2003 bomb attack on the Canal Hotel in Baghdad, Iraq, killing 22 people, including the chief humanitarian in Iraq, Sergio Vieira de Mello. In 2009, the United Nations General Assembly formalized the day as World Humanitarian Day.

NEP Will Bring Enormous Changes In Education System- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “There was a deep requirement of Coordination, consolidation, synchronization and amalgamation of complete education system in India right from the beginning level to higher education, this New Education Policy is going to bring a new enthusiasm in the whole system,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts in a state level webinar organized by The Scout Guide Organization Karnataka.

“I extend my heartiest congratulation to the Government for declaring new Education Policy after 34 years. It was long due and now it has covered many new aspects of current education system too. The formation of new organizations and committees will have better control on the system and will bring solid results in developing manpower of our country,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chief Scout For India.

Sandeep Marwah Honored With Apostle of Humanity

New Delhi: All India Conference of Intellectuals announced a high profiled award for renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah as “Apostle of Humanity” during National conference at Zoom under the title- Role of Intellectuals in Life After Covid 19.

Present on the occasion Lt. General K.M. Seth the former Governor of Chhattisgarh congratulated the awardees and appreciate their contribution in their respective fields. Sandeep Marwah at Book Reading Session of Amit Puri

New Delhi: “I believe that a reader has to learn only as much technology as it is needed to fully enjoy the magic of reading. Reading in times of digital content is changing, but it doesn’t mean it gives less pleasure,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the release function of new book ‘Believers The Achievers’ written and compiled by Amit Kaur Puri.

“There is absolutely no difference between a hardcover book or an audio book or a multimedia book application. There is no difference between a high-quality paper and e-ink screen or a high-resolution retina display. The biggest pleasure comes from what we read, not from on what we read,” added Dr. Marwah.

“The real difference, though, lies in our attitude to reading. There is a great deal of difference between an eager man who wants to read a book and the tired man who wants a book to read,” Dr. Sandeep Marwah motivated all the ladies to express themselves in writing so that more books can be published.

Since the book “Believers The Achievers’ – could not be released physically the event was converted into book reading and all the achievers who all have been covered in the book were present there to witness the great show.

Scientist and Social Activist Dr. Amit Kaur Puri is working for “Impact of educational policies on social and economic status of Women. Infant mortality and female infanticide is also major part of her project for social cause. She wants to make green earth greener, revive and conserve already existing water bodies, empower women by education and skill development and conserve Indian culture and traditions.

Sports Make Society Better -Sandeep Marwah

New. Delhi: “When you’ve got something to prove, there’s nothing greater than a challenge. There may be people that have more talent than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do. Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than 50 preaching it. I believe people who are present here will take sports seriously,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University in the capacity of Guest of Honour in a sports event designed by Sports For Well Being organization on the occasion of 74th Independence day.

“I have been lucky to create a World Record for myself when we amalgamated Sports and media. We covered Queen’s Baton Relay from Wagah Border to Nehru Stadium, by covering 28 states, 5 union Territories, 300 events, 900 cities, 20,000 KM and clicked 10,000 pictures, 1000 hours of film making, 102 radio programs, 102 short films in 102 days along with the opening film of Commonwealth games at Nehru Stadium,” informed Dr. Marwah.

“I have been dealing with special children through our organization Prayatn and its not only important but essential to involve these kids into different sports to make them healthy and happy. I appreciate Reema Garg for her interest in special children,” appreciated Dr. Marwah.
