Citizen Journalist Awards to 21 Women on International Journalism Day

New Delhi: “This is the first time that Marwah studios has constituted an award for Citizen Journalist on the occasion of 30 years of Marwah Studios. Idea is to honor those women who have adapted journalism even though they are busy with their own profession. Some of the women are in education, luxury consultancy, event management, social work, performing artists, fine artists, charted accountant, scientists but tried to entertain and kept busy thousands of people during pandemic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“What a great idea to celebrate women’s capabilities and capacities. Not many people think like that. I must congratulate each and every woman on getting such a prestigious award and all my best wishes to Dr. Marwah for creating women empowerment. Not only Marwah speaks but proves it by becoming an example himself. There is lot to learn from his experience. Sandeep Marwah Honoured with International Media Guru Award

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah seven times World Record Holder is the only media person to be nominated Chancellor of the media & Arts University, Chief Scout For India and National Chairperson of media & Entertainment upgradation Committee of Government of India in Ministry of Consumer Welfare and Public Distribution.

“I admire his passion for work. He is an asset to the country of India,” said Ram Kumar Verma Member Parliament Rajya Sabha while presenting the International Media Guru Award to Dr. Sandeep Marwah in a grand function on the occasion of 6th annual Global Star Award at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.

“We are proud of Sandeep Marwah and his achievements. He is a well-known international person with ample work to his credit. He has set an example to the World,” added Parvesh Verma Member Parliament Lok Sabha.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has so far been honoured with seven Honorary Doctorates and hundreds of national and international awards for his untiring contribution to films, television, media, art and culture. He has been nominated by more than 50 countries of the World as their cultural Ambassador.

Dr. Marwah is a case study in 35 countries of the World and has been also honored in British Parliament, Bavarian Parliament, Wales Parliament other than Indian Parliament. Dr. Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and AAFT University. He has taught and trained 19000 media professions from 145 countries of the World.

“I am thankful to everyone present here for your love and affection. My mission is to bring love, peace and unity through art and culture,” thanked Sandeep Marwah.

9th Global Festival Discussed Prospects of Print and TV Journalism

Noida: India is the only country where in this age of digitization new Newspapers have been given license to publish in different languages. Yes the literacy is increasing in India which is a good sign. On the other hand, many newspapers had to see the dark side of the moon and closed down. On one side new TV Channels are applying for license but older ones are packing up their business,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival on the first day of Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 online initiating the discussion and celebrating International Journalism Day

“Global festival of Journalism is a wonderful platform for all of us belonging to diplomatic corps. “Social media has taken over the traditional media be it a print or television. These newspapers and channels have to look for high quality of information and programming to reestablish their creditability and viewership and readership. The exclusive coverage is required,” said H.E. Marjan Cencen Ambassador of Slovenia to India.

9th Global Festival of Journalism Inaugurated on International Journalism Day

New Delhi: International Journalism Centre was created to bring love, peace and unity through journalism. IJC also shaped 12th February as the International Journalism Day and to mark respect to this auspicious day a Global Festival of Journalism was launched way back in 2012 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Global Festival of Journalism.

“The responsibility of the journalist is bigger than any other citizen of the country. What you write or show as news definitely effects the minds and hearts of people. Never over exaggerate to create sensation in the community. Journalism can bring    lots of love peace and unity if it is handled properly,” said Lt. Gen. K.M. “We need not to change the definition of Journalism. Let journalist be the real informer of news. You lose love, peace and unity when wrong reporting is done without research. “Journalism teaching and learning needs a very cautious attention. There is a huge difference between just a writer and the journalist, and the distinction is awareness &   responsibility,” said Prof. K.G. Suresh Senior Journalist and Vice Chancellor of Makkhanlal Chaturvedi University.

Giving examples of wrong and propagative reporting Mohd. Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran expressed that journalism is not only the oldest but most responsible profession on earth.

ICMEI Signed MOU With High Commission of Rwanda

New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and High Commission of Rwanda in India to develop and promote people to people relations through art and culture in India and Rwanda.

“It is a historical day that first ever arrangements of this kind has been executed between India and Rwanda where films, television, media, art, culture, environment, skill development, fashion, design, hospitality and tourism of both the countries will be promoted together under Indo Rwanda Film And Cultural Forum,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and nominated Chair for Indo Rwanda Film And Cultural Forum while signing the memorandum.

“India and Rwanda are best friends. We are confident that we both together will be able to achieve our mission of bringing two countries much closer to each other under cultural diplomacy. We will support our best to create a better World for ourselves. We are honored and pleased to sign MOU with ICMEI in the areas of Culture, Film Industry, Arts, Fashion, Tourism and Media Management,” expressed H.E. Sandeep Marwah Appreciated for His Contribution to Panama Relations

New Delhi: “We are more than happy to deal with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry for their nonstop contribution in promoting Indo Panama relations through art and culture,” said H.E. Asian News Agency Join Hands With 9th Global festival of Journalism

New Delhi: IJC-International Journalism Centre has again joined hands with ANA-Asian News Agency for the forth coming 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 to cover all the ten major events during this most exclusive festival.

12th February will be celebrated as International Journalism Day, 13th February will be celebrated as World Radio Day and 14th as Valentine’s Day. All these days there will be around 10 different seminars where discussions will take place on the current subjects.

The festival will be also be seeing the launching of new Radio Station-Radio Raipur on 13th February on the auspicious moments of World Radio Day. Three very important personalities and leaders of the country i.e. Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi will be given homage during three days of the festival.

 Major award functions presentation of -Newly constituted Citizen’s Award, Marwah Studios International Award for Excellence In Journalism and now well established Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism will take place on three different days.

“More than sixty countries are participating in the festival and around 500 media houses have given their consent to cover this international event,” confirmed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 9th Global Festival of Journalism.

Sandeep Marwah Emphasised on Sports Events

New Delhi: “Sports are a crucial part of a student’s growth and development. They help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of the body. Through participation in sports and games, a student gains various skills, experience and confidence that are helpful for developing their personality,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder President of Marwah Studios and Founder Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts in the capacity of Chief Guest in a 3rd Global sports summit on Sports Facilities & Infra Development organised by Indian Golf Circuit.

Sandeep Marwah has a World record in sports of producing 102 short films, 102 radio programs, 1000 hours of film making and 10,000 pictures during Commonwealth Games Delhi by covering 28 states 5 Union Territories, 300 events, 900 cities and following Queens Baton for 20,000 Km in 102 Days. The opening film of Commonwealth Games was  prepared by Marwah Studios and Marwah was one of the 900 athletes who ran with the baton informed Vijay Bhagat Ram President of IGC.

“I am leaving no stone unturned to promote and support sports. Our radio station Radio Noida, Television Station and forth coming radio station Radio Raipur will be broadcasting sports programs,” added Dr. Marwah.

MCC- Marwah Cricket Club, Asian Premier League for Indoor Games and Ethleema    an annual national level sports event are regularly conducting major events           outdoors. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and other hundred organizations including Asian Education Group and AAFT University Raipur conduct regular sports shows under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah to keep the youngsters occupied.

“I am personally promoting Foot Volley, Basketball, Boxing, Pithoo as I am advisor to the national federations of these games. Our contribution to Yoga and Fit India is a continuous exercise,” expressed Marwah. Later Vijay Bhagat invited Dr. Marwah to join the organisation as Patron.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated International Conference on Role of Internet in Future Sustainability

New Delhi: “The Internet is currently trending with its ever expanding eco-system of digital sensors, appliances and wearable smart devices. Like other sectors, the role of Internet in sustainable development and environment protection will be crucial in the coming years,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts in an international seminar on- Role of Internet in future Sustainability organised by  Dr. Amit Kaur Puri Founder and president AKP Healing India.

Dr. Marwah discussed and expressed seven major heads where internet through different applications have done wonders including Water Management, Agriculture, Wildlife, Marine Organisms, Buildings, Waste Management and waste water.

“These devices promise to be the major drivers of change within the coming few years With higher demands for this technology from both public and private sector for better energy distribution, accurate business forecasts, the fruits of Green IT  and an answer to many of the environment challenges faced by the regionthe overall production gains is expected to shoot up. The new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, will emerge making Internet more intuitive and user friendly, but largely, manufacturers will have to work harder at securing their connected devices as the risk to data will also increase. Amid all of these trends and predictions, the future ahead is definitely a promising one and certainly worth looking forward,” added Dr. Marwah.
