Suniel Shetty Inaugurated Session 2022 of AAFT University

Raipur : AAFT University, a premier media and arts university in India, proudly hosted its Orientation Program recently at Hotel Marriott in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Students and faculties from all streams  attended the orientation program.

The Chancellor of AAFT University, Dr Sandeep Marwah, interacted with the students, encouraging them to overcome hurdles, work conscientiously and make a name for themselves in their respective fields.

The chief guest at the event was actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Suniel Shetty  said, “AAFT University aspires to mould students into leaders and innovators of tomorrow. I truly believe in their vision and mission of creating a generation of students who are not conventional rote learners, but who have in them the conviction and courage to carve out a separate niche for themselves. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with AAFT and its students.

Sandeep Marwah said, “ Suniel Shetty is an embodiment of hard work, diligence and innovative thinking – all the qualities we want to inculcate in our students. He is an ideal role model and will inspire our students to continue to strive forward in their respective fields. We are also extremely grateful to all the speakers who could join us and help us in our endeavour of providing holistic education to our students.

The orientation program also witnessed multiple sessions by industry experts and eminent scholars like Prof. Sanjeev Parshar, chairperson of communications in IIM Raipur, Dr. Kiranmayee Nayak, the chairperson of CG state women commission, Ishan Mitra, singer and director, Gaurav Birla, the co-founder and CTO of Studio Augmented, and Akhilesh Anand an anchor and editor of ABP news. The purpose of these sessions was to make the students aware of the abundant opportunities in the field, the skills required, and how AAFT can contribute to their skill-based training.

The University recently launched its ed-tech platform – AAFT Online, Co-founded by Mohit Marwah & Akshay Marwah, with the vision to amplify its reach with innovative and advanced-level courses. AAFT Online offers numerous industry-oriented media and creative art courses online like photography, jewellery designing, interior designing, and more. It boasts features like one-to-one mentor sessions and real-world application learning. It has over 60 celebrity speakers as a part of its diploma programs.

With a legacy of 30 years, AAFT aims to prepare its students across different platforms to compete in the global market through innovative skill-building programs and with a high rate of placement and employability.

CEGR President Sandeep Marwah Briefed Education Committee of WPDRF

New Delhi: India has entered into Educational Exchange Programmes (EEPs)/Memorandum of Understandings or through Joint Statements with 51 countries of the World. Idea is to support the education industry to its best ,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts in a conference organised by WPDRF- World Peace Development and Research Foundation at its international headquarters at Noida Film City.

These countries are Mongolia, Armenia, Tanzania, Guyana, Israel, Australia, Myanmar, Hungary, Syria,  Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Thailand, Sri Lanka,  Mexico, Brazil, Afghanistan, Croatia, Ecuador, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, China, Portugal, France, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Oman, South Africa, Norway, Chile, Kuwait, Botswana, Malaysia, Turkmenistan, Canada, Indonesia, Mozambique, Russia, Trinidad & Tobago, Mauritius, Yemen, Qatar, Tajikistan, Burundi, Belarus, Republic of Korea, Germany, Estonia U.S.A., United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Peru added Dr. Marwah.

We have also created these international committees in ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to pursue further in education. The EEPs or MOUs envisage cooperation through several initiatives like Exchange of scholars, students or researchers, Sharing of information and publications, Organizing joint seminars, workshops & conferences, Working towards mutual recognition of qualifications and Developing institutional linkages informed Dr. Marwah now on the board of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

India also has educational cooperation activities with different international organizations and multi-lateral bodies like UNESCO, Commonwealth of Learning, E-9. BRICS, SAARC, India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA), East Asia Summit (EAS), Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN), Indian Ocean Rim-Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC), Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), European Union (EU) etc.

Sandeep Marwah Honoured on National Day of Gabon

Beauty Pageant Brings Sense of Healthy Competition – Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: A Fashion show is an event for a fashion designer to showcase his new collection of fashion designs whereas a beauty pageant is completely different, It is a competition which usually pits female contestants against each other. Beauty Pageant brings sense of healthy Competition,’ said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Fashion and Design while talking to the press at the 7th edition of Mrs India- Queen of Substance 2022 at Hotel Welcome.

These pageants are based on  competition including beauty, but will also touch the aspects of personality, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges’ questions. The judges will judge the contestants on this basis and will announce a winner at the end explained Dr. Marwah to the new comers at the beauty pageant.

I must congratulate Rithika Viney and Viney Yadav the founders and promoters of this beauty pageant for the successful presentation where women are participating from all over India and abroad. These kind of events support  talent to come up and adds on to women empowerment added Dr. Marwah. The event was conducted by Aman Verma and supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

Chief Scout for India Sandeep Marwah Wished Nation on Independence Day

New Delhi: I extend my heartiest congratulations to the people of India on the 75th Independence Day being celebrated today. The whole country is vibrating with new energy and enthusiasm. It is a very historical moment, and the excitement is beyond measurement,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout for India addressing to the members of Scout Foundation, the youngest uniformed body of India on 15th August 2022 at Noida Film City.

“Scout Guide Foundation is working day in day out to serve the nation in best of manner.  The objectives of the association is to organize the various programmes including Camps, Seminars, Rallies among children and youths of the country for their skill development, character building. physical fitness and create the feelings of national integration,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Rami Ranger Honoured with Mahatma Gandhi National Award at ICMEI

Noida: it was an extension of the numerous programs designed by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of 75th Independence Day of India at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida when Lord Rami Ranger was invited to the International Headquarters to address the members of the Chamber.

“We are proud to have with us a distinguished personality from London-House of Lords of British Parliament-Lord Rami Ranger who is a real case study for the people who want to do something in life. From Nothing To Everything: The Inspiring Autobiography of Struggle & Success of Lord Rami Ranger speaks everything about him,” introduced Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios & ICMEI.

On this very auspicious day We are pleased to honour him with Mahatma Gandhi National Award for promoting Gandhi’s Ideology in the World. I on behalf of Mahatma Gandhi Forum & International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry present this award for his untiring contribution,” added Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University.

Rami Ranger was nominated for a life peerage and a seat in the House of Lords in Thersea May’s resignation honours.  Ranger is the Chairman of Sun Mark Ltd and Sea Air & Land Forwarding Ltd. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of West London  in July 2016. He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2005 Birthday Honours for services to business and the Asian community, and made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire  (CBE) in the 2016 New Year Honours  for services to business and community cohesion.

“I am more than happy to receive this  prestigious award on my visit to  New Delhi during the celebrations of 75th Independence year of India. Nothing can be more powerful and energetic like this. I am thankful to International Media Leader Dr. Marwah for this touching gesture,” said Lord Rami Ranger while accepting the award.

IWFF Has Emerged as Federation for Women- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “Not very long ago we started IWFF-International Women’s Film Forum to support the women in media and entertainment Industry. We found that they are very happy and satisfied and there is lot of job satisfaction to these women. We extended the boundaries to women from all strata of life. Today in a span of ten years IWFF has started working like a federation of Working women,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair for IWFF while talking to the large number of women at a fashion show -Ms & Mrs Teej Queen of India (Glit & Glamour in The City) organized by Jaiashri Jain at Hotel Radisson Blu.

“Time has come when Indian women must learn the meaning of Atamnirbhar. You must dream big, think big and plan higher platforms for yourself. It has been proved that if you plan big you bound to be on a higher stage. God helps those who help themselves. Be honest to your profession, work hard. We need women to be on the equal status as men in India,” added Dr Marwah motivating the audience of the show.

Jaishri presented the memento to Dr. Marwah as a token of respect and thanked him for his gracious presence. Later Dr. Marwah presented awards to some prominent women for their contribution to society.

President CEGR Sandeep Marwah Addressed ICMEI Education Committee

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University and President of CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research addressed the members of powerful Education Committee of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and briefed about the different organizations of Ministry of Education in Government of India.

Talking to the members Dr. Marwah explained about the University Grants Commission, which is a statutory organization established by an Act of Parliament in 1956 for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.

Apart from providing grants to eligible universities and colleges, the Commission also advises the Central and State Governments on the measures which are necessary for the development of Higher Education. It functions from New Delhi as well as its six Regional offices located in Bangalore, Bhopal, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.

Dr. Marwah also talked about The Association of Indian universities (AIU), which is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with membership of Indian Universities. It provides a forum for administrators and academicians of member universities to exchange views and discuss matters of common concern.

It acts as a bureau of information exchange in higher education and brings out a number of useful publications, including the “Universities Handbook”, research papers and a weekly journal titled “University News”.

Dr, Marwah thanked Ministry of Education, Government of India for taking him on the Board of Applied Arts in AICTE and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India for nominating hm as National Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee in BIS which also has a head Media Education.

ICMEI Presented Indo Iraq Friendly Matches at Marwah Studios

Noida: Indo Iraq Cultural Forum in association Footvolley Association of India organized friendly matches with the team of Iraq on their visit to India under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron of the organization to bring love peace and unity between the two countries at Marwah studios complex 2 at Noida.

Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum was created to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries. Only yesterday we had a cultural program for all the players of India and Iraq to break the ice. I extend my heartiest congratulations to everyone for these friendly matches,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Iraq Film and Cultural Forum.

“Sports and games are the best way to raise the level of friendship. Not only it keeps you fit and healthy but also inculcate sportsmanship within you. Dr. Marwah is the cultural Ambassador of India and his contribution in developing relations with large number of countries cannot be ignored. The twenty-three-member delegation of footvolley from Iraq was under the leadership of president of the organization Safa and Asad. India team was handled by Ram Avtar. The friendly matches covered international games like Footvolley, Student Football, Futnet also called Football Tennis and Teqball at the grounds of Asian Business School.

Dr. Lalitya Srivastava, Saurab Sharma & Gurdeep Singh of Asian Education Group, Nixon Thotan  of GVNN TV from Goa, Arijit Bhatacharya of World Ledership Summit from Kolkata, Narender Sharma Social Worker, Illa Rani Sharma from Uttarakhand, Raman Raghunath from Tamil Nadu, A K Mohammad Ashraf from Kerala and Noel Josef from Maharashtra also joined from their states to be part of this international program.
