Noida, India – The 13th Global Festival of Journalism came to a grand conclusion with a stunning fashion show presented by the AAFT School of Fashion and Design. The final event of the three-day international festival left audiences mesmerized, showcasing the creativity and talent of AAFT’s budding designers.

The show featured vibrant collections that fused tradition with contemporary flair, impressing attendees with their innovation and professional-level execution. The event received accolades from distinguished guests and dignitaries present at the festival.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the 13th Global Festival of Journalism, spoke highly of the AAFT School of Fashion and Design, applauding the creativity and professionalism showcased by the students. He emphasized the importance of integrating art and journalism through such vibrant platforms. Dr. Marwah also extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, faculty, and guests who contributed to the success of the festival.

Dr. Parin Somani from London praised the fashion show, stating, “Amazing, so beautifully carved — better than professional shows.” Social worker Indrajeet Sharma from New York also appreciated the efforts of the students, noting the high standards of creativity and presentation.

Grigorii Pelman from Israel shared his admiration for the show, while noted dress designer Malika Mehan, AAFT alumnus Rashid Hashmi, and Dr. Utsav Krishan Murari were also present, lending their support and encouragement to the young talent.

Kunwar Ajeet Singh and Shailendra Singh Vaish added to the event’s prestige with their presence and words of appreciation.

Noida, 13th February 2025 — The 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 proudly hosted a special screening of the Moroccan film “Sound of Berberia”, directed by the celebrated filmmaker Mohammed Kaghat. The screening, held at Marwah Studios, drew praise from both cinema lovers and dignitaries in attendance.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, welcomed the audience and shared his thoughts on the significance of cross-cultural cinematic exchange.
“Film is a universal language, and screenings like these bridge borders and bring cultures closer,” he stated.

The event was further enriched by the presence of key diplomats from the Embassy of Morocco: Kamal Marzouka, First Secretary, Embassy of Morocco, offered insights into the film’s cultural roots and artistic message. Noida, India – The 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida is set to dazzle the world from 24th to 26th April 2025 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The official poster of the event was unveiled in a vibrant ceremony by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the visionary behind this global initiative.

Dr. Marwah proudly declared, “Global Fashion Week has become the biggest fashion and design extravaganza hosted by any educational institution in India. It is now a world-class platform with enthusiastic participation from institutions and designers across the globe.”

This year’s edition is set to break all previous records: 250 Designers from across India, 550 Garments on display, 125 Furniture Designs showcased, 500 Designers involved in planning and execution, Participation from 80 Countries, 50 Nations represented on the Global Ramp,90 Fashion Rounds and 9 Grand Shows, Complementary events including food festivals, design exhibitions, and entertainment galore. More than 700 Media houses will be covering the show.
