Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President and Chancellor of AAFT University. 9th Global Fashion & Design Week 2025 Inaugurated with Unparalleled Grandeur at Marwah Studios

Noida, India – The much-anticipated 9th Global Fashion & Design Week 2025, organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in collaboration with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Interior Design, and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, was inaugurated today with unmatched vibrancy and international flair at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

This year’s edition stands as the largest fashion and design celebration ever hosted by an educational institution globally, with a record-breaking participation from 90 countries. Nearly 50 countries walked the ramp, showcasing diverse and culturally rich garments, while 125 uniquely curated furniture design pieces from 80 nations adorned two expansive halls, stunning the visitors with global creativity.

The week-long celebration is also showcasing an impressive range of exhibitions, including fashion installations, interior design innovations, photography displays, coffee table books, culinary presentations, art exhibits, and a grand food festival, celebrating global aesthetics and gastronomy.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Festival and Chancellor of AAFT University, in his keynote address, said: “Design is not just visual—it is a reflection of culture, thought, and innovation. This platform is a powerful representation of global unity through design and creativity.”

Noida, 9th May 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Asian Law College, in partnership with Cyber Humane, successfully hosted a high-impact Landmark Conclave on Digital Dignity at the Asian Law College campus. The event brought together top legal minds, cybersecurity experts, diplomats, and educators to address the most pressing concerns of our digital age under the compelling theme:
“Securing the Digital Frontier – Addressing Cyber Threats, Misinformation, and Privacy in the Age of AI, Deepfakes, and Global Surveillance.”

Noida, 8th May 2025: In observance of World Red Cross Day, AAFT Leo Club in collaboration with AAFT School of Health & Wellness organized a significant blood donation camp at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 100 students and team members of Marwah Studios, who generously donated blood to the Lions Blood Bank.

Noida: In a vibrant display of cultural diplomacy and artistic collaboration, Mrs. Fatima Kane Haidara, noted writer from Senegal, along with H.E. Abdoul Wahab Haidara, High Commissioner of Senegal to India, visited Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to promote the ongoing activities of the Indo Senegal Film and Cultural Forum, a flagship initiative of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI).

The keynote speaker for the session was acclaimed filmmaker, author, and film scholar O.P. Srivastava, who captivated the audience with a deep and insightful address on the evolution of realism in Indian cinema and the lasting global impact of Satyajit Ray’s narrative and visual storytelling.
