ICMEI Extends Heartiest Congratulations to Malta on Its National Day. Noida, India: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the media and entertainment industry and the art and culture fraternity of India, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Reuben Gauci, High Commissioner of Malta, and to the people of Malta on the occasion of their National Day, celebrated on 13th December.

Dr. Marwah, who also serves as Chair for the Indo–Malta Film and Cultural Forum, stated that ICMEI has already initiated meaningful engagement and cooperation with Malta in the fields of cinema, media, and culture. He emphasized that while the groundwork has been laid from the Indian side, greater support and active participation from Malta would further strengthen these initiatives.

“We need to do more together,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, highlighting the immense potential for collaboration through art and culture to deepen people-to-people relations and enhance bilateral ties between India and Malta. Dr. Marwah expressed optimism that the Indo–Malta Film and Cultural Forum would soon witness expanded activities, exchanges, and joint projects, contributing to stronger cultural diplomacy and long-term cooperation between the two nations.

Noida, India: Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honoured by the Global Chamber of Consumer Rights (GCCR) in recognition of his outstanding contribution towards promoting love, peace, and unity through art and culture at a special ceremony.

The prestigious honour was presented by Mr. Georjee Kochupurakal, Founder Chairman, and Dr. Amuthakumar Ramaswamy, National Vice Chairman of the Global Chamber of Consumer Rights, acknowledging Dr. Marwah’s sustained efforts in cultural diplomacy and creative leadership at a global level.

Dr. Marwah further added that education remains at the core of his mission. Through his institutions, he trains and mentors nearly 1,500 Cultural Ambassadors every year, preparing the next generation of creative professionals to contribute meaningfully to society and the global creative economy.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Reviews Progress of SSD 13 Media & Entertainment Committee at Bureau of Indian Standards. New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair, Media and Entertainment Committee (SSD 13), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, convened a review meeting today to take a first-hand assessment of the progress made by various sectional committees under SSD 13. The meeting focused on evaluating the extensive work completed towards developing and strengthening national standards across the diverse domains of the media and entertainment industry.

Dr. Marwah, who is also the Founder of Noida Film City and Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, expressed deep appreciation for the remarkable volume and quality of work undertaken in framing standards related to Print Media, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, OTT platforms, Events, and Media Education, among others. He lauded the structured approach and collaborative spirit demonstrated by the committee members in aligning Indian media standards with global best practices while keeping the unique needs of the Indian industry in mind.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “The formulation of comprehensive and forward-looking standards is essential for the sustainable growth, quality assurance, and global competitiveness of India’s media and entertainment sector. Noida, India: The rich and aromatic cuisines of Malaysia were elegantly showcased by the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism during the 18th Global Film Festival Noida 2025 at the prestigious Marwah Film City, Noida. The vibrant culinary presentation was ceremoniously inaugurated by Ms. Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa, Deputy Head of the Mission, High Commission of Malaysia, adding a strong cultural dimension to the international festival.
