25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemorated at Marwah Studios
Noida, July 26, 2024 – Marwah Studios hosted a grand function to honor the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, paying tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil conflict. The event, held on July 26th, celebrated the valor and dedication of the Indian armed forces, recognizing their immense yet often unseen contributions to national security.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and former District Commandant of Delhi Home Guards, inaugurated the ceremony by releasing a special poster commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas. In his address, Dr. Marwah emphasized the vital role of the armed forces, stating, “We are here to salute the services of our forces to the nation. Their contribution is immense but not visible so clearly. We are comfortable because they are on duty 24 hours a day. Let’s pay our respect to all who are in uniform and forces. Let’s pay our tribute to those who laid down their lives during Kargil twenty-five years back.”
The event featured notable speakers including Lt. General Anil Malik, Col. Krishan Gopal Soni, and Capt. Rajesh Trehan, former senior officers from the Army. They shared poignant stories and personal experiences from the time of the Kargil conflict, offering a deeper insight into the challenges and heroism of the soldiers.
Distinguished guests graced the ceremony with their presence, including Mr. Vinit Kumar from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India; Prof. Dr. Charulata Singh, Chairperson of the Delhi Chapter PRSI; Dr. Archana Kumari, Secretary of the Delhi Chapter PRSI; Prof. Dr. Shuchi Yadav from Media Studies at JNU; Ms. Sumita Singh, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communication at Indian Oil Corporation; and Ms. Harsh Bhargavi Pandiri, Treasurer of the Delhi Chapter PRSI.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces, reaffirming the nation’s gratitude and respect for their unwavering dedication.
