Noida, March 2025: The AAFT Star Premier League 2025 concluded with a spectacular Closing and Award Function, celebrating the outstanding achievements of student athletes from 17 different colleges under the AAFT umbrella. The event, held at Marwah Studios, was graced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a World Record Holder in Sports and President of Marwah Studios, alongside distinguished guests from the sports fraternity.

The occasion was made even more special with the presence of: Sunia Godara, Asian Marathon Champion and popularly known as the “Marathon Queen.” Munna Khalid, International Gold Medalist and Olympic Para Shooter. Sanjeev Kapoor, Sports Enthusiast and Promoter, who played a pivotal role in encouraging young athletes. The prestigious event was inaugurated by former Indian National Cricket Team player Madan Lal alongside Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, in the presence of a large audience, students, faculty members, and esteemed guests.

The three-day sporting extravaganza witnessed an overwhelming participation from 500 athletes representing 17 colleges, with a vibrant crowd of 3,500 students cheering for their teams. A total of eight different sporting events were held, promoting healthy competition and camaraderie among aspiring sports personalities.

The workshop aimed at empowering aspiring filmmakers and writers with essential storytelling techniques, screenplay structuring, and the art of crafting impactful narratives for cinema.

Prayagraj, India – In a landmark collaboration between India and the United Kingdom, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), through the Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum, has successfully produced a joint venture documentary film on the Maha Kumbh Mela. The film is produced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah from India and directed by Honey Kalaria from the United Kingdom.

The project marks a historic cinematic initiative, bringing together the creative forces of Marwah Studios and a talented team of filmmakers to document the spiritual grandeur, cultural significance, and mysticism of the world’s largest gathering of faith.

The documentary captures the awe-inspiring atmosphere of Maha Kumbh, a sacred event that occurs once in 144 years, drawing millions of devotees, saints, and pilgrims from around the globe. The team worked meticulously to record the rituals, ceremonies, and unique cultural aspects of this spiritual phenomenon.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Producer and President of Marwah Studios, expressed his excitement about the project, stating: “The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the most extraordinary events on Earth. This documentary is not just about religious devotion; it is about cultural unity, spirituality, and the profound traditions that define India.
