The event was a celebration not just of institutional longevity but of the unsung heroes powering India’s first private film & television research centre, established under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“Your work has not only built a world-class research centre but a cultural bridge between nations. What I see today at Marwah Studios is nothing short of a global creative movement,” remarked Shri Kalraj Mishra, while honouring the awardees.

The festivities unfolded with the inauguration of a new Screening Theatre, a symbol of the ever-evolving infrastructure of Marwah Studios. A moving art exhibition by the students of AAFT School of Fine Arts captivated guests with expressions themed around cinema, culture, and unity.

The event also witnessed the release of the inspiring book “Dr. Sandeep Marwah – The Architect of Aspirations”, a collection of 78 write-ups by authors influenced by Dr. Marwah’s visionary journey. The book unveiled in the presence of international dignitaries from Russia, Ireland, South Korea, and others, adding a global aura to the occasion.

A symbolic gesture of friendship made as H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India. Hence conferred with Patronship of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum. And a scholarship was presented to support a deserving Panamanian student’s education at AAFT. “India-Panama relations have reached new heights because of Dr. Marwah’s cultural outreach. This scholarship and forum will create new pathways of understanding between our people,” said Ambassador Correa Miguel.

Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda, also spoke on the strengthening ties between India and Rwanda through cultural forums initiated at IFTRC. He also presented with Life Membership of IFTRC by the President IFTRC Dr. Marwah.

The same research led to the creation of world-class studios. Hence over 4,500 television programs for 50 channels, 125 feature films, 5,000 training films. And more than 3,600 short films, giving opportunities to over 25,000 filmmakers from 100+ nations.”

He highlighted how IFTRC gave birth to AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television), the first private film school in India. Hence now elevated to the first film university of the country. Having trained more than 30,000 media professionals from 145 countries. His groundbreaking concept of “Film and Cultural Tourism,” now an established term in global dictionaries. The celebrations were officially inaugurated by Shri Kalraj Mishra, who also opened a new state-of-the-art Screening Theatre at Marwah Studios.   ICMEI Sends Heartfelt Congratulations on the National Day of Sweden. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends warm wishes and sincere congratulations to His Excellency Jan Thesleff. Ambassador of Sweden to India, and to the people of Sweden on the joyous occasion of the National Day of Sweden, observed annually on 6th June.

In a special message, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Sweden Film and Cultural Forum. Hence Remarked, “It gives me great pleasure to convey our greetings to H.E. ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings on the National Day of Denmark. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly extended its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen. Hence Ambassador of Denmark to India, and to the people of Denmark on the momentous occasion of the Constitution Day of Denmark falls on 5th June.
