IFTRC Honours Excellence as Kalraj Mishra Presents Awards During 32nd Anniversary Celebrations. In a grand celebration of creativity, commitment, and cultural diplomacy. Marwah Studios proudly hosted the 32nd Anniversary of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC). Coinciding with the 125th batch of AAFT – a milestone that reflects over three decades of research-driven excellence in media and entertainment.

Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble 44th Governor of Rajasthan and former Union Minister. Graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented the prestigious IFTRC Awards to individuals. Whose behind-the-scenes dedication and service have been instrumental in shaping the legacy of IFTRC. The event was a celebration not just of institutional longevity but of the unsung heroes powering India’s first private film & television research centre, established under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“Your work has not only built a world-class research centre but a cultural bridge between nations. What I see today at Marwah Studios is nothing short of a global creative movement,” remarked Shri Kalraj Mishra, while honouring the awardees.

Among the notable awardees who received recognition for their extraordinary commitment to IFTRC were: Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI. Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting Radio Noida 107.4 FM & MSTV OTT. Viney Kumar Sabikhi Registrar AAFT. Each award was a testament to their unwavering contribution to research, media training, production, and global outreach through IFTRC.

The festivities unfolded with the inauguration of a new Screening Theatre, a symbol of the ever-evolving infrastructure of Marwah Studios. A moving art exhibition by the students of AAFT School of Fine Arts captivated guests with expressions themed around cinema, culture, and unity.

The event also witnessed the release of the inspiring book “Dr. Sandeep Marwah – The Architect of Aspirations”, a collection of 78 write-ups by authors influenced by Dr. Marwah’s visionary journey. The book unveiled in the presence of international dignitaries from Russia, Ireland, South Korea, and others, adding a global aura to the occasion.

A symbolic gesture of friendship made as H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India. Hence conferred with Patronship of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum. And a scholarship was presented to support a deserving Panamanian student’s education at AAFT. “India-Panama relations have reached new heights because of Dr. Marwah’s cultural outreach. This scholarship and forum will create new pathways of understanding between our people,” said Ambassador Correa Miguel.

Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda, also spoke on the strengthening ties between India and Rwanda through cultural forums initiated at IFTRC. He also presented with Life Membership of IFTRC by the President IFTRC Dr. Marwah.

Closing the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of IFTRC. Extended heartfelt congratulations to the awardees and gratitude to all guests, remarking: “Today is not just a celebration of years, but of ideas, innovation, and the people who transform visions into institutions. Marwah Studios Celebrates 32 Glorious Years of IFTRC: A Beacon of Global Creative Research and Innovation. Noida, India – June 2025: In a momentous celebration filled with international camaraderie, artistic spirit, and visionary insight. Marwah Studios proudly commemorated the 32nd anniversary of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC). The first of its kind in this part of the world. The landmark occasion  graced by a galaxy of dignitaries, including Shri Kalraj Mishra. Sush as Hon’ble 44th Governor of Rajasthan and 19th Governor of Himachal Pradesh; H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India. And Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of IFTRC and a globally acclaimed media personality, addressed a packed auditorium. Such as reflecting on the power of research as the invisible engine behind every creative leap and institutional milestone. “It all began with research,” said Dr. Marwah. “My proposal to build Noida Film City—today the fastest-growing film city in the world—rooted in deep study and analysis. The same research led to the creation of world-class studios. Hence over 4,500 television programs for 50 channels, 125 feature films, 5,000 training films. And more than 3,600 short films, giving opportunities to over 25,000 filmmakers from 100+ nations.”

He highlighted how IFTRC gave birth to AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television), the first private film school in India. Hence now elevated to the first film university of the country. Having trained more than 30,000 media professionals from 145 countries. His groundbreaking concept of “Film and Cultural Tourism,” now an established term in global dictionaries. Such as drawn over 90 million visitors to Noida Film City and 3 million to Marwah Studios alone.

The celebrations were officially inaugurated by Shri Kalraj Mishra, who also opened a new state-of-the-art Screening Theatre at Marwah Studios. Deeply impressed, Shri Mishra lauded Dr. Marwah’s unwavering commitment to art, education, and culture. “What I witnessed today is extraordinary,” he remarked. “Your vibrant energy, visionary leadership, and tireless efforts have the power to position India as the creative capital of the world. Ambassador H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel commended India-Panama relations and honored Dr. Marwah for his role in strengthening bilateral ties through the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum. In a symbolic gesture, Dr. Marwah conferred the Patronship of the Forum to the Ambassador and presented a scholarship to a deserving Panamanian student for a short-term program at AAFT.

Emile Mwepesi, representing the High Commission of Rwanda, praised the Indo-Rwanda Film and Cultural Forum and emphasized how cultural exchange has become a dynamic bridge between the two nations under Dr. Marwah’s leadership.

A new book titled “The Architect of Aspirations – Dr. Sandeep Marwah” was launched during the ceremony. The publication features 78 compelling essays penned by global authors whose lives and careers. State-of-the-Art Screening Theatre Inaugurated at Marwah Studios by Shri Kalraj Mishra. Noida, June 2025: In a landmark moment for India’s creative education and entertainment industry. A new ultra-modern Screening Theatre was inaugurated at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The inauguration was graciously led by Shri Kalraj Mishra, 44th Governor of Rajasthan. Hence the event was part of the grand celebrations marking 32 glorious years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC). Dr. Sandeep Marwah, visionary founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University. Proudly introduced the new screening space: “Marwah Studios has always been at the forefront of innovation. As the first professional film studios in North India, we pioneered world-class infrastructure after establishing India’s second film city in Noida. This new Screening Theatre adds another milestone to our journey. Designed not only for showcasing national and international cinema. AAFT School of Fine Arts Hosts Grand Art Exhibition to Commemorate Historic 125th Batch and 32 Years of IFTRC. Noida, June 2025: In a magnificent tribute to the historic 125th batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) and the 32nd anniversary of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC). Such as the AAFT School of Fine Arts organized an extraordinary Art Exhibition at Marwah Studios. Celebrating creativity, legacy, and the institution’s world record achievement.

The exhibition, featuring an impressive collection of student-created paintings. Hence Vividly portrayed the essence and spirit of the 125th batch. Such as with each artwork symbolizing a unique perspective on this milestone. The artworks seamlessly blended history, imagination, and artistic excellence — standing as a proud reflection of AAFT’s creative spirit and educational excellence.

“The Architect of Aspirations” – Book on Dr. Sandeep Marwah Released Amidst Grand Celebration of 32 Glorious Years of IFTRC. Noida, June 2025: In a moment etched with pride, inspiration, and celebration, the much-awaited book “The Architect of Aspirations” — a compelling tribute to the life, vision, and legacy of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, was officially released at a spectacular event commemorating 32 years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) and the inauguration of the 125th historic batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

The book, compiled by Faqiha Choudhary an extraordinary collective authored by 78 writers. Each sharing their unique reflections on the man whose passion and perseverance have shaped thousands of dreams. From educators and diplomats to artists, media professionals, and global changemakers — the voices within the pages reflect the widespread admiration and global impact of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The ceremonial release of the book graced by Shri Kalraj Mishra, 44th Governor of Rajasthan. Hence 19th Governor of Himachal Pradesh, and former Union Minister, who unveiled the book alongside H.E. Noida, June 2025: In a prestigious ceremony such as held at Marwah Studios, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF), was honoured by H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, the Hon’ble Ambassador of Panama to India. In recognition of his six years of tireless dedication towards strengthening. Indo–Panama relations through art, culture, and media.

The felicitation took place during the grand celebration of 32 years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC).   ICMEI Sends Heartfelt Congratulations on the National Day of Sweden. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends warm wishes and sincere congratulations to His Excellency Jan Thesleff. Ambassador of Sweden to India, and to the people of Sweden on the joyous occasion of the National Day of Sweden, observed annually on 6th June.

In a special message, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Sweden Film and Cultural Forum. Hence Remarked, “It gives me great pleasure to convey our greetings to H.E. Jan Thesleff and the people of Sweden. ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings on the National Day of Denmark. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) proudly extended its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen. Hence Ambassador of Denmark to India, and to the people of Denmark on the momentous occasion of the Constitution Day of Denmark falls on 5^th June.
