Noida: The 16th Global Film Festival Noida witnessed a spectacular inauguration of the “PHOTO TATVA” exhibition, showcasing the creative brilliance of students from the School of Still Photography, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and School of Fashion & Design at AAFT University of Media & Arts. The exhibition, introduced by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, was held at Marwah Studios and featured distinguished dignitaries.

Ms. Pallavi Prakash, a stalwart in the industry, focused on the portrayal of women empowerment in music videos, actively engaging with students and guiding them on the production nuances. Award of Distinction Bestowed Upon Iranian Film “The Girl Squad” at the 16th Global Film Festival

Noida: The inaugural day of the 16th Global Film Festival at Marwah Studios witnessed an enchanting celebration of cinema, bringing together film delegates, students, and enthusiasts from across the globe. Sushil Bharti, the Director of Broadcasting at Marwah Studios, set the tone for the event by highlighting the profound impact of cinema on societal intricacies. He underscored the crucial role of Film Festivals in the life of a filmmaker, emphasizing their significance as platforms for artistic expression.

Among the distinguished guests was Mohski Mohammed Raza from the Embassy of Iran, who expressed his delight at participating in the festival. Drawing from personal experiences, Raza commended the cinematography of the director of the feature film “The Girl Squad,” which artfully delves into the struggles faced by Iranian citizens during the wars of the 60s and 70s.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the President of the festival, shed light on the enduring relationship between India and Iran. He also highlighted the longstanding collaboration between ICMEI and the Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the Embassy of Iran.

Noida:  The Sardar Patel Forum of AAFT observed a solemn ceremony on 15th December to pay tribute to the visionary leader and the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his 73rd death anniversary. The poignant event was organized at Marwah Studios, bringing together students, faculty, and dignitaries to commemorate the enduring legacy of this stalwart who played a pivotal role in the unification of India.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as the “Bismarck of India,” was a key figure in the Indian independence movement and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India. His contributions to the nation are immeasurable, particularly in the integration of princely states into the Union of India, a task that earned him the title “Iron Man.”

Addressing the audience, Dr Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios remarked, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s legacy is a beacon of inspiration for all of us. The inaugural session of the food festival unfolded with immense enthusiasm as AAFT showcased meticulously crafted dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of Ghana, Georgia, Venezuela, and Iran. The culinary creations were met with appreciation from attendees who reveled in the rich and diverse flavors brought to life through extensive research and practice.
