ICMEI Congratulates the Country of Myanmar on Independence Day
Noida, India – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), under the dynamic leadership of its President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, extended heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Zaw Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar to India, and the people of Myanmar on the occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 4th January.
Dr. Marwah, an eminent global ambassador of art and culture, conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the film, media, art, and culture fraternity of India. He lauded the people of Myanmar for their rich cultural heritage and their journey toward peace, progress, and prosperity.
“Independence Day is a moment of pride for every nation, symbolizing freedom, unity, and hope. Myanmar’s unique traditions and cultural richness continue to inspire the world,” said Dr. Marwah. “We at ICMEI are committed to fostering deeper bonds of friendship and collaboration between our two nations through the medium of art and culture.”
The Indo-Myanmar Film and Cultural Forum, an integral initiative by ICMEI, has been at the forefront of strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Myanmar. Through various cultural events and initiatives, the forum has been instrumental in celebrating the shared heritage of the two nations while promoting mutual understanding and appreciation.
Dr. Marwah emphasized the vital role of cultural exchange in fostering international goodwill, stating, “Art and culture serve as powerful bridges that connect people and nations. Our collaboration with Myanmar is a testament to how creativity and cultural heritage can unite us beyond boundaries.”
On this momentous occasion, ICMEI reaffirmed its dedication to expanding cultural collaborations with Myanmar. Plans for upcoming projects include film screenings, art exhibitions, cultural workshops, and educational programs aimed at enhancing people-to-people connections. Sandeep Marwah also informed that 3rd January has been declared by ICMEI as the International Day of Cultural Relations.
