Shaheed Diwas Commemorated with Solemn Observance at Marwah Studios by AAFT Faculty

New Delhi, India – March 25, 2024 – Marwah Studios, in collaboration with the Bhagat Singh Forum and supported by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, solemnly observed Shaheed Diwas, also known as Martyr’s Day, on March 23, 2024. This day marks the sacrifice of three valiant freedom fighters – Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar – who were hanged by the British colonial rulers in India.

Led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, the event aimed to honor the courageous spirits of these iconic leaders of India’s independence movement. Dr. Marwah spoke passionately about the significance of Shaheed Diwas and paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar.

The event was meticulously crafted by the Bhagat Singh Forum of Marwah Studios, showcasing the unwavering commitment of the institution to commemorate and uphold the values of freedom, courage, and sacrifice. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry lent its steadfast support to the initiative, underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting the historical narratives of India’s struggle for independence.

The entire faculty of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) participated in the observance, demonstrating a unified reverence for the sacrifices made by the martyrs in the pursuit of India’s freedom.
