Noida, India – 16th July 2025: In a landmark initiative to redefine the global landscape of skill education, AAFT (Asian Academy of Film & Television) proudly launched the AAFT International Skill Development Council (ISDC)—a dynamic platform comprising 17 specialized departments, connecting 35,000 members across 145 countries, with 84 nations officially joining on its very first day.
The grand inauguration ceremony, held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. Hence marked by the formal poster release of the Council by an illustrious panel of international diplomats and ambassadors. Their presence not only underscored the global relevance of this initiative but also reaffirmed the power of art, culture, and creative education in building international cooperation.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of AAFT, addressed the gathering with passion and purpose. Hence “AAFT ISDC is envisioned as a global centre of excellence in skill development and vocational education. Such as designed to empower individuals through specialized training across creative, cultural, and emerging industries. Our goal is to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of India and the world through skill innovation and education.”
Vision of AAFT ISDC: To become a global benchmark in creative skill development. Hence fostering excellence and international cooperation in professional training and education.
Mission Objectives: To design and implement industry-driven programs across 17 creative and professional disciplines. To create a bridge between academia and industry through hands-on training, mentorship, and certifications. Hence promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and employment readiness through skill enhancement. To build global alliances and collaborate with national and international partners to raise the standards of vocational education and research.
The 17 Departments of ISDC Include: Film, Television, Journalism, Media, Animation, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Photography. Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Hospitality, Tourism, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Digital Marketing, Management, and Law.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion with their distinguished presence included: H.E.
