Sandeep Marwah Honored In Poland For His Contribution To Cinema

The function took place at Mantra –An Indian Art and Culture Community Centre at Gdansk, Poland. “We have constituted this award for the first time and it has gone into the history of Mantra-to a man who himself created history in Film and Television industry.” said Sunil Ahuja Director of the Centre.
“I am thankful to Indian Ambassador Monika K. Mohta and the Director of Mantra Sunil Ahuja for honoring me at that level. I assure that I will maintain their trust” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television. The formal award function was followed by great gala party in the honor of Marwah.

Dada Saheb Phalke Festival Award 2012 For I AM

“Meaningful Cinema will remain for ever. Our aim was to bring in social problems of the country to lime light through entertainment” said Sandeep Marwah the co producer of the feature film I AM while receiving the Dada Saheb Phalke Festival Award for Best Cinema of the year 2012 at a mammoth function at Greater Noida.
The feature film has already been announced as the best film of this year by the National Awards Committee, Ministry Of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
I AM is about issues and dilemmas that bruise the modern Indian society. Unravelling and exploring these tribulations, the film unfolds many a tale of individuals struggling to find their identity, and uphold their dignity in a world that is callous, cold and unsympathetic.

Sandeep Marwah Presented E&M Charter To PHD President

The renowned Asian Media Personality Sandeep Marwah has been again nominated to the managing committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce the Oldest Chamber of India under the leadership of its President Sandeep Somany.
Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios who is also in the film & television production, education and training from last Twenty years believes in promoting social issues through media activities.
Recently a charter for the working of one year under Entertainment & Media committee has been prepared and handed over by the Chairperson of the committee Sandeep Marwah, to the President of the Chamber here in Delhi.
The charter includes workshops, seminars, symposiums, interactions, film festivals, star visits covering Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Events and Education.

Special Screening of Sandeep Marwah Films at Gdansk Film Festival

Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and record holder of producing largest number of short films in the World. The number has crossed 1800 films. He is on the jury of 10th edition of Gdansk Docfilm Festival 2012 at Gdansk, Poland.
A special section has been carved out in the Gdansk Docfilm Festival to showcase the films produced by Sandeep Marwah. He has given a wonderful opportunity to more than 1500 new trained directors and approx. 8000 technicians and artist from 87 countries to learn the film culture while making the films under the banner Marwah Films And Video Productions.
Eleven films have been selected this time for screening at Gdansk film festival in a non competitive section. “I am much obliged to the complete team of the festival for providing me an international platform, encouraging and motivating me to do a good job” said Marwah.
In The Name Of God by Aamir, Sneha by Ratanjit Roy, K-18 by Siddharth, Dwanda by Jitendar, Check N Mate by Sunel Kumar, Sach by Faraz Heider, Moments Lost To Hell by Yogi, The Coconut by A.S.Gosain, Blue Corner by Rafiqul Islam Laskar, The Final Vardict by Lyv Pathak and Shut up Hitler by Varun Sihag are the films shown this week at Gdansk.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Bollywood Section Of Polish Film Festival

Films are the Ambassador of the culture of any country” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Entertainment and Media Committee of PHD Chamber Of Commerce as opening remarks while inaugurating the Bollywood Section of 10th Edition of Gdansk Film Festival in Poland.
“We make around 1000 films in 28 official languages. India has 11000 theatres and approx 15 million people watch Cinema every day. We sell 5 billion tickets around the year. Around 550 television channels have one or other slot to show Cinema
“We are lucky that we have with us today an international Media personality who is not only a film producer but an International record holder. His presence has raised the level of our festival” said Kazimierz Beer Producer and Director of the Gdansk Docu Film Festival while welcoming guest from different countries of the World.
Diana Dziworska the public Relation officer of the festival thanked Marwah for being part of festival and for bringing two cultures close to each other.

Sandeep Marwah First Indian on The Jury of Gdansk Film Festival

The 10th Edition of Gdansk DocFilm Festival started here in Gdansk, Poland with great pomp and show. The festival has received more than 250 films from all over the World.
The selected films are to be shown from 2nd to 6th May in different theatres in the city.
This is for the first time in last ten years when an Indian film maker is on the board of Jury of Gdansk Doc Film Festival” said Kazimierz Beer, the director of the festival. The management and the audience is very keen to listen to Sandeep Marwah who has come all the way from India and representing the biggest film Industry of the World” Beer added.
Sandeep Marwah has been on the Jury of National Film Awards & Apsara Awards in India, at Shoot 4 Life festival at Budapest, Hungry also at Mons Film festival, Belgium and now Gdansk Film Festival at Poland.

Parents Have To Take Keen Interest in Children-Sandeep Marwah

The Chief Guest Marwah distributed more than 100 awards to the young students of the school at an annual program pertaining to all cultural activities. The awards were after the name of giants of their fields like Tansen, Picasso, Newton to motivate the children of junior classes.

Impressed by a beautifully designed cultural program consisting of music and dance performed by the kids, Sandeep Marwah announced four scholarships for the students of the school. Sandeep Marwah started IFTC International Film And Television Club, IFTRC International Film And Television Research Club, IPBF International Public Broadcasting Forum, ICFF International Children’s Film Forum for the promotion of film business in India.
He has brought many laurels to India in last 21 years and heading more than 20 international organizations. He has created a family of more 10,000 media members.

‘Darakhton Ke Saye’ by Madhukar Gangadhar Released

“I am pleased to be here for the release of another book of Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar a legendary figure in the field of Literature. I am elevated and made it a point to be part of this historical moment” said Tripurari Sharan IAS Director General Doordarshan in the capacity of Chief Guest.
Expressing about his book ‘Darakhton Ke Saye’ Gangadhar said that he has written his all personal interactions and experiences with senior writers of the Nation in this book. He narrated his connections with Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Mahadevi Verma, Dr. Laxmi Narayan Shidhanshu, Kamleshwar and in total with twenty one writers.

Sandeep Marwah Representing India In Polish Film Festival

The renowned International media person and President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the jury member for the forth coming Gdansk Documentary film festival scheduled to be held from 2nd May to 6th May 2012 at Gdansk, Poland.

“Sandeep Marwah will be representing not only India but the complete Asia this time” informed Monika Mohta Indian Ambassador to Poland. “It is our honor that festival management nominated an Indian film maker to represent on the prestigious film festival” Monika added.

“I am feeling very enthusiastic about being on the jury” said Sandeep Marwah. “This is the beginning of 100th year of Indian Cinema and I am representing my country to Poland. I will be missing National Awards on 3rd May at New Delhi where our film I AM is also getting award for best film of the year” Marwah expressed.
