ICMEI will Support the Cultural Activities of G20

New Delhi: We are feeling proud and charged with new energy as India is the President country for G 20 for the year 2023 and honorable Prime Minister of India will be the Chair for G 20. We have already joined hands with many countries which are part of G 20 to develop and promote relations through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University.

A poster was launched at the Global office of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry by the dignities of different organization to show their support to ICMEI activities. The theme of India’s G20 Presidency is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- One Earth One Family One Future.

The members of the G-20 are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S., as well as the European Union, represented by the rotating council presidency and the European Central Bank. Seminar on Standards of India at Asian Business School

115th Batch of AAFT Inaugurated at Marwah Studios

President CEGR Sandeep Marwah Addressed ICMEI Education Committee

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University and President of CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research addressed the members of powerful Education Committee of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and briefed about the different organizations of Ministry of Education in Government of India.

Talking to the members Dr. Marwah explained about the University Grants Commission, which is a statutory organization established by an Act of Parliament in 1956 for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.

Apart from providing grants to eligible universities and colleges, the Commission also advises the Central and State Governments on the measures which are necessary for the development of Higher Education. It functions from New Delhi as well as its six Regional offices located in Bangalore, Bhopal, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.

Dr. Marwah also talked about The Association of Indian universities (AIU), which is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with membership of Indian Universities. It provides a forum for administrators and academicians of member universities to exchange views and discuss matters of common concern.

It acts as a bureau of information exchange in higher education and brings out a number of useful publications, including the “Universities Handbook”, research papers and a weekly journal titled “University News”.

Dr, Marwah thanked Ministry of Education, Government of India for taking him on the Board of Applied Arts in AICTE and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India for nominating hm as National Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee in BIS which also has a head Media Education.

Guru Jayanti Mala Presentation at Asian Academy of Arts

Noida: “Indian Classical dance is like being a mother, if you have never done it, you can’t imagine how difficult it can be. Classical dance elevates our feelings, makes us speak without words. It is rhythmic expressive elegant and passionate, It makes you beautiful calm and Charming,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts inaugurating the year long dance recital festival at AAFT School of Performing Arts at Noida Film City.

The festival started with the deep routed Kathak performance by Kathak queen and daughter of Sitaradevi Dr. Guru Jayanti Mala Mishra. Jayanti Mala known as the Urvashi is Petite, dynamic and Purity and Commands her position as the top exponent of Kathak Dancer of Banaras Gharana and Lucknow Gharana of Uttar Pradesh. Jayanti Mala, born in the Musical family founder of Banaras Gharana, Lucknow Gharana – Acharya Pandit Sukhdev Maharaj. The Doyen among the Kathak Dancers. Jayanti Mala is the torch bearer of Banaras and Lucknow.

Kathak is the hardest form as one has to convey the dance through hand gestures and feet work. dance is a storytelling process, so the danseuse need to convey the story or Katha through bodily movement.

“Kathak is characterised by intricate footwork and precise rhythmic patterns that the dancer articulates by controlling about 100 ankle bells. It takes its movements from life, stylises them, and adds the complex rhythmic patterns. Kathak is danced by both males and females; many of the dances convey moods of love,” said Guru Jayanti Mala.

Paraguay Film Well Appreciated at 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021

NOIDA: 7 Boxes in Spanish (Cajas) is a Paraguayan thriller film directed by Juan Carlos Maneglia  and Tana Schémbori. The film 7 Boxes was  released on August 10, 2012, and received praise from critics and the public as well as breaking box office  records in Paraguayan cinemas. 7 Boxes won the “Films in Progress” in what was the first unanimous decision in the festival’s history. The film participated at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2013.

“We are very happy that a film from Paraguay is a participating in 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021. We are also thankful to Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum for being part of the grand show. I am sure you all will love this super hit film,” said H.E. Fleming Duarte inaugurating the screening of film.

The cast includes Celso Franco as Victor, a porter who aspires to become a famous actor. He is recruited to transport seven mysterious boxes in exchange for one hundred dollars. Lali Gonzalez as Liz, a young woman who accompanies Victor on his mission. Nelly Davalos as Tamara, Jin Hyuk Johnny Kim as Jim, Víctor Sosa as Nelson, and  Nico García as Luis.

“This one hour forty minutes film is an asset to the festival. The film has added a lot of the creativity to the whole show,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   the festival. Radha Bhatt, Dilnaz Irani, Raghubir Yadav, Aroon Bakshi, H.E. Paulias Korni Ambassador of Papua New Guinea were also present at the screening in a house full show.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated ANIMAZICA of AAFT School of Animation

“Work opportunities for quality animators and related professionals like graphic designer, multimedia developer and game developer, character designers are in Advertising Online and Print News Media, Film & Television, Cartoon production, Video Gaming, E-learning. Though, these are some examples only. Opportunities exists both with government as well as private sector enterprises. Animation itself is an industry, and as industry it’s on boom,” added Dr. Marwah.

“The animation industry, which was once dominated by the West, has found a new hub in India. Among all the Asian countries, India has got the potential and the creative juices to produce world class animations,” said Vinay Kumar Vikram CCO and Co- Founder of Twin Brains Studio.

“The global animation industry is huge and as an animation artist, you have great scope both in India  and abroad. Animation as a profession is very lucrative,” said  Dr. S. Suresh Kumar CTO Brain Tower of Oman.

Sandeep Marwah Designated Chartered Global Peace Building Professional

Washington: Well known international media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been designated as The Chartered Global Peace Building Professional by The George Washington University of Peace USA for his non stop contribution to Peace and Peace Research.

The certificate was presented to Dr. Sandeep Marwah by Prof. Dr. S. L. Riyas Sulaimalebbe the Vice Chancellor of the University in the recognition of significant contributions in meeting the international demand for Peace Research, Developing a growing number of Professionals and Peace Researchers, expertise and ultimately contributing to the protection of the international code of practice under UNSDG 2030 Agenda.

Chief Scout For India Sandeep Marwah Chaired Scouts Conclave

New Delhi: The Scouts Guides Organization under the leadership of Chief Scout For India Dr. Sandeep Marwah organized a powerful National conclave to boost the activities of the organization.

“The goal of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout For India while addressing the conference.

“The Scouts /Guides Organization  (SGO) is a non political, non sectarian and secular organization. The purpose of this organization is to devote its volunteers to character building of Youth in India and abroad and promoting in them the feeling of selfless service to their country and humanity,” added Dr. Raj K.P. Sinha National Commissioner of Scouts Guide Organization.

“It is the high time we should revive the whole setup of Scouts and Guides under the advisor ship of Dr. Sandeep Marwah. We must motivate fifty lakh students to support in every Governmental issue. The active participation can mold many more students to join this oldest voluntary body,” expressed Dr. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra Chancellor of Shobit University as a special guest.

New Delhi: The list of ‘50 Most Influential Indians’ compiled by Fame India Magazine and Asia Post is based on a survey of 12,000 respondents across India. With 99.6 percent people voting/giving views in his favour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most influential Indian and a mass leader.

“The list is based on a survey that saw 12,000 respondents take part. These respondents, chosen from across the social, intellectual and professional lines included writers, artists, bureaucrats, senior journalists, social activists and businessmen. The man who has topped the list should not come at all as a surprise because he is not just the most influential Indian in India at this time but probably most influential Indian in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With 99.6 percent people voting/giving views in his favour, he is the most influential Indian and a mass leader,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts and part of Fame India Selection Board.

Hindi heartland Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been liked by 97 percent of the respondents for his honest image and administrative qualities. Home Minister Amit Shah gets thumbs up from 96.5 percent for his determination, ability to take tough decisions and implement them. India’s well-known industrialist Ratan Tata has secured the fourth position with 95.2 percent votes. Mostly, people chose him on the basis of his social responsibility and astute entrepreneurial abilities. The fifth is Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India. He was chosen by respondents primarily for his contribution towards making the power of the Internet grow deeper in society.

For his efforts towards successfully containing COVID-19 spread in the state, Kerala Chief Minister gets the sixth position. Sri Sri Ravishankar, spiritual leader and messenger of world peace secured the seventh position. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has successfully made to the top 10. Respondents voted him for his clean image and efforts towards self-reliant India in defense manufacturing. The man of all seasons, NSA Ajit Doval, has secured the ninth spot, while Odisha chief minister who enjoys a great connect with common people, Naveen Patnaik comes 10th on the list. PM Modi’s handpicked man PK Mishra, his Principal Secretary is on the 11th position for his managerial skills and effective execution. The young and effective Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Heman Soren, is the 12th, and Delhi CM Arvind  Kejriwal has found the 13th place on the list.

Editorial director of Fame India Magazine, US Sonthalia on the preparation of the list said “There were a total nine heads including personality, impact, vision, image, pro-development outlook and efforts towards upliftment of the society under which we have carried out the survey to select these 50 most influential Indians of 2020. The number of respondents was around 12000 which includes people from the varied field like social work, theatre, cinema, art, journalism, industry, commerce and cooperative. Fame India’s objective behind acknowledgement of such people is to set a high-performance standard for the rest in the society”.

For making positive reforms in Railways, Piyush Goel gets the 15th rank. ‘Sushasan Babu’ Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the 16th for his pro-development governance in the state. Former health minister and BJP’s national president JP Nadda is the 17th, current Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan is the 18th, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla is the 19th, while Baba Ramdev who has taken ‘swadeshi’ to new heights is the 20th influential man on this list.

NDA secured 37.36 percent votes in 2019 Lok Sabha polls and got 303 seats. While Rahul Gandhi-led UPA got 19.01 percent of the total turnout and managed to take the tally to 52. The brighter side UPA got eight more seats than 2014. Rahul Gandhi, being the face of the largest Opposition party, secured the 21st spot. Isha foundation’s head spiritual leader Sadguru Jaggi Vasudevan is 22nd. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is 23rd. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Coal & Mines Pralhad Joshi has started a wave of reforms in the sector and thus gets 24th position, while Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is 25th on the list.

Chief Minister of Goa and the suave politician Dr Pramod Sawant is 26th, Punjab Chief Minister and man of action Captain Amrinder Singh is 27th, Minister of State (IC) for Power and Renewables RK Singh is 28th and effective bureaucrat Ajay Bhalla (IAS) is the 29th on the list. The 30th on the list is Health Secretary Priti Sudan (IAS) who has been hitting headlines for all the good reasons of late. Dr Ajay Kumar (IAS), who has been immensely effective as Secretary Defence Manufacturing and Secretary Defence, has secured the 31st spot. India’s first Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, the industrialist Gautam Adani, Pharma giant Cadila’s owner Pankaj Bhai Patel, Sajjan Jindal, Founder of Avenue SuperMarts Radha Krishna Damani, T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Industrialist much accessible to common people Anand Mahindra, Sulabh International’s founder Dr Bindeshwar Pathak and IFFCO’s MD & CEO Dr US Awasthi have been placed between 32nd to 40th in the list. Dr Awasthi is the only name from the cooperative sector to have made it to the list.

An IAS officer of 1987 batch (MP cadre) and Managing Director of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd (TRIFED) Pravir Krishna gets the 41st spot on the list. Krishna has the credit of steering the federation towards profitable avenues. Secretary Biotechnology department Renu Swarup (IAS), ISRO president K Sivan and Director of the National Institute of Virology Priya Abhraham have made it to the 42nd, 43rd and 44th spots in the list, respectively.
