International Women’s Day celebrated at Marwah Studio

Noida Film City: “International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a function at Noida Film City.

“This year’s theme, “Empowering Women – Empowering Humanity: envisions a world where each woman and girl can exercise her choices, such as participating in politics, getting an education, having an income, and living in societies free from violence and discrimination” added Marwah who is also the founder of International Women’s Film Forum.

This is the time to uphold women’s achievements, recognize challenges, and focus greater attention on women’s rights and gender equality to mobilize all people to do their part.

Still photography of ASMS highlighted at Global Festival of Journalism

Noida Film City: Still Photography is a very important part of Asian School of Media Studies. The department of still photography prepared a calendar for 2015, which saw light of the day on the 2nd day of 3rd Global Festival of Journalism.

“The department of photography has attained ample importance when the calendar prepared by students of their pictures is being released today by Ambassador of Slovenia” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio.

“Photographs are the everlasting memories” added H.E. Mrs Darja Bavdas Kuret Ambassador of Slovenia while releasing the Calendar. “One picture is equal to thousand words” Journalist & Politician Shazia Ilmi also spoke on the occasion.

Padam Sri Shyam Singh Shashi, Master of Community Radio Dr. Sreedher, Senior journalist Qamar Agha, Arfa Khanam Sherwani and Deputy Commissioner- Commercial Tax Pankaj Kumar Singh were also present there. Later Marwah honored them with the life membership of International Journalism Centre. The event was powered by ICMEI.

ICMEI created committee on Ethiopia

New Delhi: “We have decided to work on all the 162 international committees framed in ICMEI to develop and promote trade and business in media and entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio.

Secretary General ICMEI visited Aklilu Kebede, Minister Counsellor (Political, Public Diplomacy & Public Relations) of the Embassy of Ethiopia and gave a detailed presentation about the origins, aims and objectives of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Aklilu Kebede said that he has grown up watching Indian Films in Ethiopia and appreciated the mission of ICMEI of integrating the world through Art & Culture. He informed that they will proceed further on the arrival of the Ambassador Her Excellency Dr. Genet Zewide who was out of town on that day.

Dr Sant Kumar Chaudhary on the Board of IFTC

Noida Film City: “We are more than happy to welcome Dr. Sant Kumar Chaudhary an eminent educationist from Jaipur to be on the board of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio while handing over the life membership on his visit to Noida Film City.

Dr. Sant Kumar Chaudhary is the founder of Shankara Group of Institutions, an educationist, a philanthropist, a social worker, a guide and mentor to many. He is the recipient of many national and state level awards. He is in many facets of business including publication. He is also running number of charitable institutions.

“I m proud to be part of Marwah Studio and would love to share my experience and expertise with institutions like AAFT” said Dr. Sant Kumar Chaudhary accepting the membership.

Jashan Singh performed in a master class at Marwah Studios

“Bending towards fine arts is a part of our syllabus at AAFT. Be it a short term or degree course. Music cannot be ignored at any stage” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios introducing Jashan Singh renowned singer from Mumbai at a master class in music.

Known for his Punjabi and sufi music Jashan Singh sang all variety of numbers including classical and Bollywood. “It is important to know many things and to master on them should be a day to day affair to get success in your field” said Jashan to the class at AAFT answering their question related to music and cinema.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to Jashan Singh. He promised to perform in a bigger show at ICMEI.
