A team of students of Print Media, Radio, Television, New Media and Events from ASMS- Asian School of Media Studies covered the entire show of Ramola Bachchan’s Runway Rising on 17th July at Hyatt Regency Ball Room at New Delhi.”

“Runway Rising is an exclusive showing of next gen Designers” said Ramola Bachchan addressing to the young media persons of ASMS at this national exhibition of 78 exclusive designers from all over India.

It is a very practical exercise of the students where they have to cover the event from all aspects of media and show results. There is no chance of not being delivered” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. The team was guided by Dr. Shobha Kulshrestra Director of Asian School of Media Studies. ASMS has also launched Asian School of Fashion and will be a part of the next exhibition on 10th October,2013.

“The most important chapter which we all have to read is of World Peace, it will cover all individual and small points related to Human Rights” initiated Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nation and International Bar Association at National Workshop at Marwah Studios, Noida.

Delegates from all over India and other countries interacted from the same platform and discussed their problems related to their areas. Many IHRO Leaders share their experience openly. Full day workshop was planned under the leadership of Nem Singh Premi IHRO Chairperson.

The workshop was supported by World Peace Development And Research Foundation, Association of Asian Union, Indian Sports and Cultural Society and Asian Education Group.

“The candidate’s portfolio specially conducted by fashion Photographer Shekhar Sharma will be uploaded to FB for the highest clicked results. Finalist will be given a big break. Pierre Vaesen Ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium in India inaugurating 10th Batch of Asian School of Media Studies at Marwah Studios Noida.

The Ambassador was accompanied by Antoine Delcourt Counsellor Economic Affairs, Christophe Van Overstraeten First Secretary Trade & Investment, Jos De Clercq First Secretary Trade & Investment Flanders and Abel Garamhegyi Vice President of Barco Electro Systems who all also expressed themselves from the dice of Asian School of Media Studies.

‘This visit is a formal extension of the association of Marwah Studios, and Asian Education Group, with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in extending cultural exchange and beginning of the Indo-Belgium Film & Cultural Forum” added Sandeep Marwah explaining achievements of the institution.

This was followed by the remarks of Prof. R.K. Singh Vice President ASMS, Prof Anugyan Nag and vote of thanks by Dr Shobha Director ASMS.

“It is the beginning of a new relationship and a new chapter of developing relationship between India and Belgium through art and culture” said H.E. Pierre Vaesen accepting the membership. The event was attended by the new batch of film, journalism, multimedia and fashion students of Asian School of Media Studies.

Mumbai: B Town superstar Akshay Kumar, who has given a break to Anil Kapoor’s nephew, Mohit Marwah as male lead for his flick Fugly, has finally found a fresh face Kiara Advani to play female lead in the venture.

Recently, she has been signed for the pivotal role in the forthcoming film. Kiara will make her acting debut apposite Mohit. She will portray the actor’s lady love and the upcoming movie Fugly will be directed by Kabir Sadanand. While praising the talented girl, Kabir said,”Yes, we have signed Kiara. She was outstanding during the auditions and we think she is the right choice for the role.”

The newcomer always wanted to work in the films, now she has eventually got the chance in Khiladi Kumar’s project.
Excitingly one of the close source shared, “She always wanted to be an actress. Getting a role in Akshay’s film is a big opportunity. She is leaving no stone unturned to get the right body language required for the role.”

Advani’s family has very good terms with the Bollywood god father Salman Khan. Even he kept on guiding her about the industry. Even Salman also wanted to launch her in his upcoming project but due to his close friend Yardi he left the idea behind.

The campaign called the “Pink Chain’’ was formally announced at a function held at Hotel Ashok on Monday evening by Union Minister for Science and Technology S. Jaipal Reddy, Minister of Culture Smt.Chandresh Kumari katoch, Actor Neetu Chandra & Swara Bhaskar and media baron Sandeep Marwah. It has been introduced to ensure that the younger generation is made aware about the social and preventive aspects of cancer (mainly breast, lung, oral and cervical) across India.

Dr. Abhishek Shankar, working in the Oncology Department at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences is the main coordinator for the campaign, said, “Pink Chain is supported by eminent oncologists from AIIMS, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and many more institutes. There will be lecture sessions on various aspects of cancer, with special emphasis on prevention and early detection by eminent oncologists, interactive session with students and screening and general health check up by an expert.’’
The program will cover 40 colleges of Delhi University and will reach out to 20,000 youth in order to educate them about the various aspects of cancer.

Neetu Chandra famous for her roles in Traffic Signal, Garam Masala, Appartment, No Problem etc. spoke her heart out and narrated her journey into the film industry from Bihar.

“Strong determination, positive thinking and continuous efforts can only make you reach to the top” condensed the young actress while answering to the large number of questions from the media students. Irish Educationist Cooke John presented on the occasion also spoke to the students. He said” Enthusiasm to learn and zest to perform can take you to your destination”.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored the guest with life membership of International Film And Television Club of ASMS.

“Sandeep Marwah has done a commendable job in film, television and media Education. He is the only media person to create five international records and still not forgotten his responsibility towards society” anchored Dr. Abhishek Shanker of AIIMS- All India Institute of Medical Science at Hotel Ashok on the pre launching function of Pink Chain Health Campaign.

Sandeep Marwah was honored with an appreciation Award for his deep involvement in social activities concerning Disability issues, free education to unprivileged, upliftment of youth & Women in society, promotion of Art & Culture and sports in the presence of S. Jaipal Reedy Union Minister of Science And Technology and Union Minister for Culture Chandresh Kumari Katoch.
