After celebrating National Education Day on 11th November during Global Film Festival, which is also the birthday of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, eminent educationist and the first Education Minister of independent India we added 12th November as Hindi Cinema Samman Diwas to honor all those who have contributed in the promotion of Hindi through Hindi Cinema,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

Jackie Shroff veteran actor, Sushant Singh actor and General Secretary CINTAA- Cine and Television Actors Association and Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI handed over the Hindi Cinema Sahyogi Samman to H.E. Radu Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India.

Ambassador was awarded in the presence of Vijay Goel Minister for State of Parliamentary Affairs and statistic implementation Government of India and MP & former Union Minister Shatrughan Sinha also Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti. The President of IMPTPA T.P. Agarwal and President FWICE B.N. Tewari were also present there.

Book of Pankaj Singh Released at International Environment Seminar

Noida: A grand seminar took place at Marwah Studios under the leadership of Global Green Ambassador Sandeep Marwah organized by ICMEI- International Chambers of Media And Entertainment Industry at Noida Film City.

“The whole idea of bringing so many organizations and important people of the society together to remind them that we have forgotten the value of mother land and there is some duty which every person has to perform of preserving environment,” said Sandeep Marwah.

H.E. Petko Doykov Ambassador of Bulgaria to India and other dignities including Ambassador Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal of Association for Asian Union, Dr. K.D.Gupta Chairman of Environment Committee ICMEI, Dr. V.K.Goswami of Environment And Peace Foundation, Suresh Srivastava of IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Association and Amit Kaur Puri of AKP Foundation released the book on environment ”Paryavaran Bachayen Jage Aur Jagayen” written by Pankaj K Singh.

“I have tried my best by writing a book on environment and its preservation so that large number of people can be informed about the need to preserve environment. It is just a humble gesture towards nature which has given us so much to live,” said Pankaj K Singh thanking ICMEI for releasing the book at such a powerful international platform.

ICMEI Seminar on Environment at Marwah Studios

Noida: A high profiled seminar was organized by AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios in Film City Noida.

“Charity begins at home, you start today, your neighbor starts tomorrow and the whole city starts doing this sooner than you realize that every action needs a start,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI reminding of 25 different ways to save environment.

“Bulgaria is the president of European Environment Committee of 28 countries, and Environment has become one of the most important agenda in the discussion. Lets all work together towards the common cause of the World and give a better World to our next generation,” said H.E. Petko Doykov Ambassador of Bulgaria to India while inaugurating an international seminar on environment.

“Each World Environment Day is organized around a theme that focuses attention on a particularly pressing environmental concern. The theme for 2017, ‘Connecting People to Nature’, urges us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and to think about how we are part of nature and how intimately we depend on it,” said Srivastava Secretary General IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nations Associations.

AAFT Scholarship for Bulgarian Student- Sandeep Marwah

Noida: Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum created jointly by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Embassy of Bulgaria in India last year presented a scholarship to H.E. Petko Doykov the Ambassador of Bulgaria to India.

Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI presented the scholarship in a grand function at Marwah Studios. ”We will be more than happy to receive a deserving student from Bulgaria to learn the art of film, television and media in India,” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of the forum.

A scholarship of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television consists of 3 months education and training on any of the streams of Production Direction & TV Journalism, Editing and Sound Recording, Acting & Presentation, Camera & Lighting Technics, Sound and Radio Productions, Graphics and Animation, Still Photography. It includes boarding and lodging of the student also.

“I am happy that IBFCF is promoting the relation between two countries under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah. We will work on many subjects in time to come,” said H.E. Petko Doykov Ambassador of Bulgaria to India.

ICMEI Supports Developed Village Developed Nation Campaign

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry join hands with IECSME- Indo European Chamber of Small And Medium Enterprises to promote Prime Minister’s Program of “Developed Village Developed Nation”.

“IECSME is now partners with AICTE-All India Council for Technical Education and touching 10300 colleges in India to pursue Developed Village-Developed Nation campaign and to work at the floor level right into the villages to help and support villagers in their matters,” said Vijay Tewari President of IECSME.

“ICMEI is working on the national campaign of this important project of the Prime Minister through print, Radio, Television and Internet. Our students of Asian Education Group will also get involved with the same,” added Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“It has been decided that the AICTE approved institutions located in a particular district will be connected with adopted village under SAGY for identifying the constitutional provisions for Panchayati Raj, Youth And Women partnership etc.The students will work on 7 I’s –Innovative, implementable, investigative, and inclusive ideas for India,” said Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe Chairman AICTE.

11th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Announced

Noida: One of the most unique film festivals of the World-International Festival of Cellphone Cinema will see its 11th edition in the month of February along with 6th Global Festival of Journalism 2018 announced by Sandeep Marwah the President of International Film And Television Club.

“12 years back we thought of starting a short film on mobile, Prof. Karl Bardosh of Tisch School of Arts, New York University, USA joined hands with us to complete the film half in Noida and half in New York. Screening of that first film gave us an idea to start a film festival of films made from mobile phone,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

“International Festival of Cellphone Cinema is first of its kind in the World. The scale and grandeur added by Sandeep makes him a show man of the international film industry,” said Prof. Karl Bardosh Master Professor in Tisch School of Arts.
