Film Festivals Are The Best Windows to Show Cinema-Sandeep Marwah

Marwah Studios has given 10 best film festivals to the nation. These festivals have attained international stature and created international records with time. “Film Festivals are the best windows to show Cinema “ Sandeep Marwah invited Indu Srikent to join IFTC as advisor.

Indu Shrikent graduated with a major in English literature. In 1993, she joined Cinemaya,The Asian Film Quarterly, a journal devoted to Asian cinema, where she became deputy editor. One of the founder members of NETPAC India, Indu Shrikent promoted Asian cinema extensively in India by organizing film appreciation courses, screenplay workshops, and film weeks on Asian countries culminating in 1999 with the launch of the Cinefan Festival in New Delhi.

Indu Shrikent has been co-director of the Cinefan Film Festival since its inception in 1999 and has contributed to the steady growth of the festival. At present she is the Festival Director of Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema.

“We are proud to be associated with Indu Ji, who can contribute a lot to film festivals” added Marwah. Later Marwah handed over the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television to Indu.

World Environment Day Celebrated at Noida

“World Environment Day (WED) is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment.” Said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development & Research Foundation and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations in a grand function at Noida.

“Over the years it has grown to be a broad, global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated by stakeholders in over 100 countries. It also serves as the ‘people’s day’ for doing something positive for the environment, galvanizing individual actions into a collective power that generates an exponential positive impact on the planet” added Marwah.

Later Sandeep Marwah installed plants to mark respect to Mother Earth along with the members of the resident associations of different sectors of Noida.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Press Club of India

An organization of more than 3000 journalist based in Delhi under the oldest association called Press Club of India honored Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Society of Film And Television for his untiring contribution to media and social activities.

The Press Club of India is already a half century old and is going great. It was formed way back in 1958 largely at the initiative of a few editors in the capital of the country. It is a tribute to their vision and their faith in fellow journalists that the old lady of Raisina Road is still there and, what’s more, doing well. But the unique feature of the club is that it represents the entire country not cities as the press clubs all over the globe do.

The senior journalists and members of the management committee including Komal Sharma, Vijay Shanker, Nadeem Kazmi and Sanjay Singh handed over PCI award to Sandeep Marwah.

“I am pleased to be now part of the family of journalism. The award has encouraged me to do more for the betterment of my nation” said Sandeep Marwah enthusiastically.

Pratima Pandey on the Board of Asian School of Fashion

All humanity sharing a common thread, we identify ourselves with the artist” said Pratima Pandey renowned dress designer while talking to the students of dress designing and textile desiging at Asian School of Fashion at Noida.

Pandey was invited for the special class to share her experience in fashion at Noida Film City. “We are the first film school to have our own fashion school. The students are lucky enough to design clothes for television and film productions of Marwah Studios during the training period” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian School of Fashion.

Sandeep Marwah later honored Pratima Pandey with Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

AAFT Celebrated United Nation’s Public Service Day

The UN Public Service Day intends to celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector said Sandeep Marwah in a house full auditorium at Noida Film City at AAFT.
Sandeep Marwah is not only founder of film city Noida but also the Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations. He is also the Chairperson of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Sandeep Marwah reminded the value of public service in the community, which in return can bring a lot of peace, prosperity and sense of satisfaction to people.

“The annual observance of Public Service Day highlights the invaluable contributions of public servants and administrators in our efforts to build a better world for all.” Message sent by Ban Ki Moon Secretary General of United Nations.

Boney Kapoor Spoke on Film Education at 6th Global Film Festival

Some of the finest films are directed by students of AAFT which shows that Asian Academy of Film And Television has given the best film education to its students, there is no doubt that AAFT is the first ten best film schools of the World” said Boney Kapoor renowned film Producer and former President Film Federation of India.

“Times have changed and film makers aspect new comers to join industry with full knowledge and training. A good education in media does matter” added Boney Kapoor replying to the questions from the large media audience at 6th Global Film Festival Noida 2013.

Releasing the poster of Alumni Boney congratulated Marwah Studios for bringing the festival to international level. Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN thanked him for his gracious presence. The discussion was shared by Jeno Hodi, Karl Bardosh, Satish Anand, Ashok Tyagi.

AAFT Training Program for Ignite Miss Northern India Contestants

“AAFT School of Fashion has all those facilities which probably many school of fashion cannot even think of, that is the reason we opted to train and groom all the final contestant of Ignite Miss Northern India” said Dr.Shobha Kulsherstra Director of Asian School of Fashion.

“I have full trust in AAFT and its education and training” added Vimal Srivastava President of the event. “We are happy to provide 100 Sheela Marwah scholarships to the first 100 applicants to join AAFT programs in films, television and media” said Sandeep Marwah.
