International Day of Cooperatives Celebrated at NFTC

In 1992, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the International Day of Cooperatives to be celebrated annually on the first Saturday of July.

The aim of this International Day is to Increase awareness on cooperatives, highlight the complementarily of the goals and objectives of the United Nations and the international cooperative movement;

Underscore the contribution of the movement to the resolution of the major problems addressed by the United Nations is strengthen and extend partnerships between the international cooperative movement and other actors, including governments, at local, national and international levels.

This year, International Co-operative Day, celebrated on 2 July, had the theme ‘Co-operatives: The power to act for a sustainable future.’

“Co-operatives have a unique role to play in implementing and achieving the SDGs, because their business model has sustainable development at its core, being based on ethical values and principles,” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited at a small function at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

ICMEI Presented Scholarship to Republic of Gabon

New Delhi: Indo African relationship saw a new light when ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry handed over the scholarship of full time short term course of most prestigious film school of India- Asian Academy of Film And Television to the Ambassador of Gabon H.E. Desire Kaumba by the President of the Chamber Sandeep Marwah.

Recently Indo Gabon Cultural Forum has been formed and inaugurated by the H.E. Andrew Crepin GWODOG Minister for Environment Protection and Natural Resources of the Forest and the Sea, Government of the Republic of Gabon at Noida Film City. The scholarship for the deserving student for a film school in India is a very positive step in this direction said Ambassador.

“I extend my greetings to Sandeep Marwah and pass on the Greetings and the message of congratulations sent by H.E. Ali Bongo Ondimba the President of Gabon and Paul Mba Abessole the Minister for Cultural & Arts, Government of Republic of Gabon to Sandeep Marwah for initiating the efforts to promote our relationship with India,” added Ambassador Desire Kaumba.

New Delhi: Indo Bosnia And Herzegovina chapter got promoted when ICMEI International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry brought Bosnia Athlete to its radio and television.

One time renowned basketball player from Bosnia And Herzegovina now renowned Therapist is consultant to many companies and enjoying her status as advisor. Vesna Pericevic Jacob calls herself a holistic trainer, who addresses satisfaction of appearance, emotional upliftment and spiritual stability of her clients. “If you live in a city like Delhi, stress takes a toll. Fitness is one department Delhiites aren’t too bothered about,” she says.

Sandeep Marwah Opened The Exhibition of Paintings by Virendra Kumar

New Delhi: “What a colorful expression projecting the sea, sky and the cities with every paining different from other. A very positive energy is being generated from these paintings,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while inaugurating the Painting exhibition of Virendra Kumar at Shridharani Art Gallery at Triveni Kala Sangam New Delhi.

It was a display of 20 different paintings by the senior artist Virendra Kumar depicting his expression of years traing and experience.

A geography honours graduate, along with a degree in fine arts from Govt college of Arts and Crafts, Patna, 1997, Virendra Kumar inherited his artistic genes from his mother, Kumar held his first exhibition as part of a group show in 1991 in Patna.

Virendra says that working with night scenes became almost an obsession for him. Later he realized that there is a certain place for mystery in the mind set. His works deal with the experience of his travelling to many big cities in India and abroad.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with International Journalism Centre and All Journalist Association organized a national meet and a media workshop inviting journalists from all over India to participate and give their valuable views on journalistic activities.

“Large number of issues was presented on the table one by one when journalists were given an opportunity to speak their mind. Speaking on the occasion Pankaj K Singh the Deputy Commissioner Reserve Bank of India representing Government of India highlighted Governments achievements in the field of media industry and requested all the media persons to fulfill basic requirements of running a media house and a newspaper publication.

National Media Meet at International Journalism Centre

Noida: International Journalism Centre in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and All Journalist Association organized an all India media workshop where journalists from all India participated.

Renowned International Media Guru and Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the seminar. Pankaj K Singh from Government of India, Dr. Ajay Kumar of Asian School of Media Studies, Vipin Gaur of News Paper Association of India, Sushil Bharti of Radio Noida, Albeena Abbas Dean Department of Mass Communication & Journalism ASMS and president of All Journalist Association V. K. Sharma were present on the inaugural dice.

Large number of issues pertaining to journalist and journalism were discussed. Many schemes and suggestions were noted down to be present to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Lots of information was passed on to the journalist attending conference including the role of International Journalism Centre, 12th February as International Day of Journalism, Global Festival of Journalism 2017 etc. Sandeep Marwah offered a special slot to journalists for Radio Noida and MSTV.
