Noida: One of the most prestigious International award for bringing Unity to the Asian Countries-ASIAN UNITY AWARD today was presented to the renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah here at Noida in a grand function in the presence of august gathering of Diplomats, media persons, politicians, and a group of creative people from large number of countries on 2nd April which has been declared as Asian Unity Day.

“Strength lies in Unity, Prosperity increases in Unity. There is an European union, which has changed the face of Europe. If we are able to create an Asian Union, that will change the face of Asia in all fields: economic, social, strategic and finally in the political arena” said Dr. Beni Prasad Agarwal Chairperson of AAU & APC.

Association For Asian Union & Asia Pacific Cooperation, an organization to bring in cordial relations between 50 countries of Asia being formed fifteen years back by a group of like minded people comprising of Former Prime ministers, Governors, Diplomats, Politicians and people from different strata of life including former Prime Minister of Japan Yoshiro Mori, Former Lt Governor of Delhi Tajender Khanna, Former Cabinet Secretary Naresh Chandra, former Chief Justice of India M.N. Venktachailia,

The Association announced and handed over the Asian Unity Award to Sandeep Marwah for his untiring efforts and huge contribution towards Asian Unity. Marwah has recently been announced as Global Cultural Minister & Global Peace Ambassador during Global Cultural Summit and Global Peace Summit respectively

Sandeep Marwah has been Chairing 60 National and International level organizations and has spread the message of Love, Peace And Unity through these organizations to all the countries of Asia from the last twenty-five years.

The award function was followed by a seminar on ‘.Positive element in religion can lead to peace and harmony in society’ Dr Mohammed Haneef Khan Shastri (3 Times President awardee) emphasized on peace and harmony among people of a country as a tool for the development . During his speech he recited the verses of Qoran , vedas and Geeta which lay stress on a cohesive society based on peace , justice and humanity.

Vice President of AAU K.K.Sharma, , former Director General Police D.K.Arya, Inspector General of Police Rajeev Kumar IPS, journalist Adil Aadil Khan , ICMEI Secretary General Ashok Tyagi, educationist Abdul Samaj Khauwaja and many prominent figures spoke on the subject. A brochure on AAU & APC was also released on the occasion.

Noida: A history has ben written today when first ever Festival of Films from Nepal was inaugurated at Marwah Studios presented by Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum, organized by AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and powered by International Chamber of media And Entertainment Industry.

“What a grand and historical beginning of the activities of Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Nepal Shri K.P. Sharma Oli during his first official visit to India last month and Sandeep Marwah President AAFT was nominated as the Chairperson by the Prime Minister himself” quoted H.E. Deep Kumar Upadhyay Ambassador of Nepal to India at the inauguration of the festival.

“India and Nepal relations are as old as Indian History but these kind of gestures will bring more love for each other as cinema is bundle of emotions. I congratulate INFCF for its efforts” added Ambassador.

The renowned actors from Nepal Sunil Thapa and Karishma Manandhar added a lot of glamour to the whole show. What a pleasure to be part of first ever Nepali Film Festival in India, I am touched by the action” said Sunil Thapa also known for his involvement with Hindi cinema. Sandeep Marwah is now the God Father of Nepali Cinema in India, I am sure his initiative will catch on and Nepal Film Industry will see a new light in his guidance” expressed Thapa a Nepali actor in 250 films.

“I am elevated with my participation in this festival. I will remember the love and respect extended to me for all time to come. I will suggest that there should be a branch of AAFT in Kathmandu,” said Karishma Manandhar recently been nominated the ‘Most Popular Actress of Nepal’.

An exhibition of paintings by two renowned artists Raj Kumar Sharma and Bhishwaranjan Bhunia were also inaugurated on this occasion jointly by H.E. Deep Kumar Upadhyay, Karishma Manandhar and Sunil Thapa.

Later Marwah honored the guest with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. The festival was attended by large number of film, television and media professionals and students from all over India and abroad. Large number of Nepali from different strata of life also participated.

Singapore: This global celebration of forests provides a platform to raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests and of trees outside forests.

“Forests cover one third of the Earth’s land mass, performing vital functions around the world. Around 1.6 billion people – including more than 2,000 indigenous cultures – depend on forests for their livelihood,” said Sandeep Marwah Global Cultural Minister during his visit to Botanical Garden at Singapore.

Forests are the most biologically diverse ecosystems on land, home to more than 80% of the terrestrial species of animals, plants and insects. They also provide shelter, jobs and security for forest-dependent communities.

Yet despite all of these priceless ecological, economic, social and health benefits, global deforestation continues at an alarming rate – 13 million hectares of forest are destroyed annually. Deforestation accounts for 12 to 20 percent of the global greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.

“Every year on the International Day of Forests we celebrate the ways in which forests and trees sustain and protect us. This year we are raising awareness of how forests are key to the planet’s supply of freshwater, which is essential for life” added Marwah also Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations.

Noida: This is for the fist time in India that a fashion school has been the part of a film school. This is also for the first time that every student of fashion school gets an opportunity to be part of every medium of media i.e. print, radio, television, cinema and New Media” said Babeetta Sakxena addressing 40 contestants of National Beauty Contest at Marwah Studio.

“Sandeep Marwah deserves bigger awards on the powerful international platforms, but this is a humble gesture of extending our gratitude to him for supporting Indian Fashion Industry whole heartedly” said Ritika Vinay Director of Mrs India Beauty Pageant while handing over the award.

“The efforts and encouragement Sandeep Marwah has added as President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry are worth praising,” added Vinay Director of the show.

Noida: 40 finalist of Mrs India Contest- Queen of Substance selected from all over India were here at Marwah Studio for final grooming and understanding the subject of media and presentation.

“It is matter of pride that the best pageant is now associated with AAFT School of Fashion And Design and Marwah Studio is grooming them how to face media “ said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio while explain the tips to the young women from all over the country.

“Mrs India Queen of Substance aims to create and empower role models who will serve as ambassadors to charity, enrich to perception to beauty and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the enhancement of women while positively impacting their communities” said Ritika Vinay Director of the show.

“This is a pageant, which will provide women with a platform where they will get an opportunity to make a difference to the World. The mission of the event is to nurture and support contestants along their path to personal and professional growth” added Marwah Global Cultural Ambassador.

Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Global Cultural Ambassador and Global Cultural Minister recently. He has been in art promotion for last thirty years. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is the first dedicated Chamber for this industry in the whole World where 219 international committees & 80 national committees have been formed, whereas 108 contact offices have been created and 600 representatives have been nominated in the first go in itself.

In celebrating World Poetry Day, March 21, UNESCO recognizes the unique ability of poetry to capture the creative spirit of the human mind. A decision to proclaim 21 March as World Poetry Day was adopted during UNESCO’s 30th session held in Paris in 1999.

“One of the main objectives of the Day is to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and to offer endangered languages the opportunity to be heard within their communities,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts and Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations at a get-together at Dempsey Hill at Singapore.

The observance of World Poetry Day is also meant to encourage a return to the oral tradition of poetry recitals, to promote the teaching of poetry, to restore a dialogue between poetry and the other arts such as theater, dance, music and painting, and to support small publishers and create an attractive image of poetry in the media, so that the art of poetry will no longer be considered an outdated form of art, but one which enables society as a whole to regain and assert its identity.

Singapore: Since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. The UN just launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals that seek to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect our planet – three key aspects that lead to well-being and happiness.

The United Nations invites each person of any age, plus every classroom, business and government to celebrate the International Day of Happiness each year on March 20.

“ We must look for an excuse to be happy rather than angry. .”At this time of grave injustices, devastating wars, mass displacement, grinding poverty and other man made causes of suffering, the International Day of Happiness is a global chance to assert that peace, well-being and joy deserve primacy.” Marwah read the message sent by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.
