ICMEI Works on Indo Canadian Film Venture

Noida: A well-known filmmaker Mahi Kaur has been awarded the life membership of International Women’s Film Forum during her visit to International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

“I am here to look for joint venture between India and Canada as far as my next project of feature film is concerned. I have been recommended by many people to be part of ICMEI for benefits from India,” said Mahi Kaur film maker from Canada.

“I have recently met H.E. Nadir Patel High Commissioner of Canada to India and we have talked on how to promote film, television and media relations between two countries. This is going to be the part of the same promotion,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Sandeep Marwah has already recommended a short film under joint venture of India and Canada, which will start in due course of time.

Convocation of Asian School of Media Studies at Marwah Studios

Noida: “Education and skill development provided by the college must be upgraded with latest information when you are in the field to be in the books of your employer. The changes in the hospitality and fashion industry are tremendous,” said Dr R.P.Agarwal former Vice Chancellor and advisor to Shobit University at the convocation of Asian School of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

90 students from the stream of fashion and hospitality and tourism were awarded a prestigious diploma of ASMS at a grand function at Marwah Studios in the presence of large students from School of Fashion and Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Children’s Organization

New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and also the Chairperson of International Children’s Film Forum has been recently honored by another children’s organization in Delhi for his sincere contribution to child welfare.

“Sandeep Marwah has been in education for 23 years and has trained 12000 students in films, television and media. He started skill development program 23 years back and realized the need of the same much earlier. More than 1000 film shows have been organized on different occasion to teach students of more than 800 schools through good cinema,” said Nirmal Vaid present on the occasion.

Sandeep Marwah has initiated the projects of Clean India 12 years back and yoga teaching from last 23 years. Now he is also associated with Digital India, Clean Ganga, Start Up India, Stand Up India and other Prime Minister’s Projects.

He has been running 11 branches of Apna School for unprivileged students in 11 different slums of Noida. There are three disability centers running under the name of Pratyn under his patron ship. Large number of primary schools and training centers are taking guidance from Marwah.

Marwah has also created a special segment for children in Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival and now in Global Fashion Week. He has been continuously helping Children Film Society of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Human Rights Association Honored Sandeep Marwah

Noida: All India Human Rights Association honored Sandeep Marwah in a huge function at Noida Film City. It was also the annual celebration of Human Rights Day as declared by the United Nations on 10th December.

“Sandeep Marwah has set an example for many. He is the source of inspiration as every day has been utilized for the social activities and uplifting others, which is the purpose of Human Rights Day,” said Rajiv Chandran of United Nations Information Centre addressing to the audience.

“Sandeep Marwah is chairing now almost 100 organization of National and international repute indulged in education, sports, entertainment, culture, media, disability, children, women and many. We nominate him as our Chief Patron and we honored in handing over this AIHRA Award for his untiring contribution towards Human Rights,” said M.U.Dua reading the citation.

“I am feeling humbled and promise to continue my way of working for society,” said Marwah accepting the award.

Human Rights Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: All India meet was planned AIHRA- All India Human Rights Association on the World Human Rights Day on 10th December 2016 at Noida Film City. Members and office bearers from all the states of India were present on the occasion to talk about their success stories and contribution towards society’s upliftment.

“Upholding human rights is in the interest of all. Respect for human rights advances well-being for every individual, stability for every society, and harmony for our interconnected world” Rajiv Chandran read the message sent by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

“Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December. It commemorates the day on which, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 1950, the Assembly passed resolution 423 (V), inviting all States and interested organizations to observe 10 December of each year as Human Rights Day,” informed Rajiv Chandran of United Nations Information Centre.

“This year, Human Rights Day calls on everyone to stand up for someone’s rights! Disrespect for basic human rights continues to be widespread in all parts of the globe. Extremist movements subject people to horrific violence. Messages of intolerance and hatred prey on our fears. Humane values are under attack,” said M.U.Dua President of AIHRA.

“The time for this is now. “We the peoples” can take a stand for rights. And together, we can take a stand for more humanity,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios who is chairing more than 100 voluntary organizations for the welfare of the community.

“It starts with each of us. Step forward and defend the rights of a refugee or migrant, a person with disabilities, an LGBT person, a woman, a child, indigenous peoples, a minority group, or anyone else at risk of discrimination or violence,” added Marwah while receiving the award.

AIHRA-All India Human Rights Association honored the Global Cultural Minister Sandeep Marwah and Rajiv Chandran for their human activities. Sandeep Marwah also nominated Chief Patron to the organization.

Indo Serbian Film And Cultural Forum Inaugurated at ICMEI

Noida: Another feather in the cap of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry when Indo Serbian Cultural Forum was launched by H.E. Vladimir Maric Ambassador of Serbia to India at Marwah Studios.

“This is the first of its kind organization in the country of Republic of India. I am sure that this forum will do wonders in developing and promoting relations between two countries,” said H.E. Vladimir Maric Ambassador of Serbia to India.

“Sandeep Marwah is the best choice to lead the organization. His vast international experience and deep interest in art and culture will make this forum much stronger and permanent,” added Ambassador.

Sandeep Marwah has already been offered a Doctorate by International Roma Cultural University, Belgrade, Serbia for his untiring contribution to art and culture Worldwide. The Chancellor Dr. Shyam Singh Shashi has also nominated Sandeep Marwah as Chairperson of International Committee of IRC University.

Indo Serbian Cultural Forum will work on students exchange, faculty exchange, institution tie ups, film festivals, joint productions, scholarships, workshops and seminars by Serbian visiting dignities, fashion related business and promotion of tourism of both the countries.

Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian School of Media Studies and International Film And Television Club supported the event. A scholarship to the deserving student from Serbia has been handed over to the Ambassador in one of the short-term media courses at AAFT.

NAI Appreciation And Award for Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “The credit of announcing worldwide an international day of Journalism that is 12th February goes to Sandeep Marwah, a renowned media personality. His five World records in media has brought him to world fame,” said Vipin Gaur General Secretary of News Paper Association of India in an annual 24th NAI Press Achievement awards at NDMC Auditorium at New Delhi.

“International Journalism Centre created by Sandeep Marwah has brought many national and international organizations at the same platform. He is also the editor of a newspaper, a radio station, a television station and a news agency. His devotion and untiring efforts in improving the conditions and level of journalism in India and abroad are worth recognizing,” added Vipin Gaur.

Sandeep Marwah has been awarded NAI Award for Most Popular International Journalist in the presence of journalists from all over India and abroad. The State Minister for Electronics and Information Technology & law and justice Shri P.P. Choudhary and State Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal were also present there.

International Children’s Film Forum Invited Delegates for Seminar

Noida: ICFF- International Children’s Film Forum has invited delegates to plan and design the programs and agenda for the next year in a close meeting at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

Film shows, film appreciation, film training, filmmaking and film screening are some of the agenda of the meeting. “We have enrolled now more than 900 students in our tiny school running for unprivileged students at 10 different slums of Noida. 3 centers for special children are also under the banner Praytn working satisfactory. More than 1000 shows have been organized for the school going children,” said Sandeep Marwah and informed the house.

The President Sandeep Marwah nominated Madhavi Menon as the Director of International Children’s Film Forum who also addressed the attendees.

A new film DAFAN directed by Aarash Alpesh Upadhyay the students of Asian School of Media Studies was released on the occasion for which the poster was also launched. An award winning film CHITHI directed by Mohit Arora was also screened in the meeting.

Three Days Workshop in Film Making at Marwah Studios

Noida: A special three days workshop has been organized at Marwah Studios in association with Udaaan a social group to promote young talent in India at Noida Film City powered by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

More than 90 students from 42 colleges of Delhi NCR participated in the workshop at AAFT where they all were taught the methods of filmmaking.

It all started with writing for cinema and then techniques of filmmaking. Some of the starlet took the workshop including Shri Nand Kumar Ji – Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh, RSS ,Dr. Man Mohan Vaidya – Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh, RSS , Sh. Yogendra ji – Founder of Sanskar Bharti , Monika Arora – Advocate Supreme Court of India , Yashpal Sharma – Actor , Sh. Narendra Thakur – Uttariya Chhetra Prachar Pramukh, RSS , Sh. Anupam Bhatnagar – President of Udaan Utsav

Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios awarded three best film students with three shot films on the final day of the workshop. All the participants were presented with an opportunity to be part of radio Noida 107.4FM and MSTV.CO.IN television program.

Convocation of 92nd Batch of AAFT Held at Marwah Studios

Noida: 92nd Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television marched towards professional world of film, television and media after accepting their prestigious diplomas of AAFT, an institution that is a pride of India.

H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India handed over esteemed diploma certificates of AAFT to 90 students from the stream of films, television and media. “The quality education at AAFT has brought a huge name to this institution. It is now the turn of students to prove their caliber in the professional fields. They should be ready to face all sort of circumstances to raise their level of experience,” said H.E.Radu Dobre while giving the convocation address at Noida Film City.
