Noida: One of the most important part of 8th Global Film Festival Noida 2015 is the launching the Indo Romanian Film And Cultural Forum by H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre the Charge d’ Affaires of Romania to India.

The purpose of this organization is to develop and promote relation between India and Romani through arts and culture. It will bring the people of two countries close to each other and ultimately also increase in business” said H.E.Radu Octavian Dobre Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Romania.

We are happy to launch the Indo Romanian Chapter here from Marwah Studio. It has added a lot to the prestige of the festival and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The Chamber has grown with this new forum launching,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio.

Present on the occasion Bimla Batham Member of the Legislative Assembly, Uttar Pradesh congratulated and said that it is an another step in developing art and culture of both the countries. She also extended her full help in promoting the forum.

Mongolian actress Mungunzul Amgalanbaatar, Filmmaker from Orissa Ashok Das, Studio Manager Viney Kumar Sabikhi and renowned artist Adil Rana were also present on the occasion. The program was witnessed by thousands of film, television and media persons from all over India and abroad.

New Delhi: The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia at the central lawns of Connaught Place inaugurated 4th Delhi International Film Festival with great pomp and show.

“We need lots of film activities in Delhi to make it a happening place. Films attract each and every one so does film stars. The presence of stars at film festival makes it better and happening” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio special invitee at the festival.

Jacqueline Fernandez, Catherine Barrel, Blythe Hubbard, Mercedes Papilla and Mathew Stephuik also star in the film Definition of Fear, Filmmakers Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sudhir Mishra and reality TV star Ashutosh Kaushik were among the other celebrities at the opening ceremony.

210 Films from 68 Countries will be showcased, while 50 NRI and Indian poets will be the part of the festival. There will also be seminars and workshops organised on Film Market, Animation films and Indian Market during the fest informed Ram Kishore Parcha The founder Director of the Festival.

New Delhi: “What an exciting scene when so many people are indulged in tattoo at the same time and rock musical groups playing most popular songs are there for the entertainment at Indira Gandhi Stadium” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio as a special invitee at the festival.

This could easily be a scene from an underground party anywhere in the world. But this is what the unassuming stadium at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex at ITO looked like Saturday. This is where Delhi is hosting its first-ever tattoo convention, called Heartwork Tattoo Festival (HTF).

More than 60 tattoo artists from across the world are participating in this three-day-long festival. The aim is to educate Indian society about tattoos. People think tattoos are just a style statement. It’s actually a reflection of the soul on the body.

Noida: 8th Global Film Festival Noida 2015 organized a powerful workshop. on film writing and direction by Manish Gupta a well-known writer and director from Mumbai.

“Writing is the key to success. The powerful script is the soul of the film. Audience accepts something out of the box for the next film. Repeat of subject do not attract people to the theatres,” said Manish Gupta while introducing the subject to the large media and film students present there from all over India and abroad.

Manish Gupta is an Indian writer and director in Bollywood Manish started his career as a scriptwriter. His first film as a writer was Sarkar starring Amitabh Bachchan Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.

Manish soon graduated to film direction and made his debut as director with Darna Zaroori Hain which he directed one story amongst the six stories each directed by a separate director.Manish’s first film as independent director was The Stoneman Murders starring Kay Kay Menon and Arbaaz Khan

His next movie as director was “Hostel” that explored the psychology of ‘Ragging’ (Hazing/Initiation). The President of India, Mrs. Pratibha Patil felicitated Manish Gupta at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi for addressing a national issue through cinema.

Manish’s latest film is ‘Rahasya’ a murder mystery. The film stars Kay Kay Menon,Tisca Chopra and Ashish Vidyarthi. Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI conducted the workshop.

Noida: “Films are still the best source of entertainment in the country. We sell 5 billion tickets every year out of 12000 theatres running in the country. 1.5 crore people visit theatres every day. 1200 films are made every year in 28 official languages with turnover of 10,000 crores. Why tax on entertainment” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio introduced the subject for the seminar.

“There are times when films have not even recovered the cost of production and sales are restricted because of the high tax policy, government should think on these points before levying tax for entertainment” said Ashok Tyagi festival director of 8th GFFN.

“There should not be any tax on entertainment. At the end of the day this is the only medium poor people have to entertain themselves. The high entertainment tax policy has restricted the audience to visit theatres. There is a huge scope to increase the turnover and need to have more theatres in India” added Pankaj Parashar.

“The tax should be according to the cost of the film. Low budget films should pay low rate of entertainment tax” suggested Manish Gupta. Savita Sharma also gave her point of view. The proceedings of the seminar were sent to International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry for further action.

“I have studied at Sardar Patel School for 11 years, my ideology has been influenced by the thinking of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. That is one of the reason to quote-Love Peace And Unity through Art and Culture as the aim of lobal Film Festival” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio.

Savita Sharma social worker, foreign delegates from Indonesia and Poland were also part of the event. “ I am surprised by the number of events and organizations which are part of 8th Global Film Festival. Never seen a festival with that high profiled meaning attached to it,” said Manish Gupta a well-known writer & film director.

On this World AIDS Day, join us on the Fast-Track to end AIDS” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations and World Cultural Minister.

Noida: “The global exchanges of television programs focusing on peace, security, economic and social development and the enhancement of cultural exchange indicate the growing significance of television in today’s changing world. The information sharing through television facilitates social and cultural communication and encourages cooperation and partnerships in the world” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio at a glittering function at Noida Film City also known as Television City.

In recognition of the increasing impact television has on decision-making by bringing world attention to conflicts and threats to peace and security and its potential role in sharpening the focus on other major issues, including economic and social issues, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 November as World Television Day informed Sandeep Marwah- World Cultural Minister also Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations.

Jaipur: A special committee has been formed to suggest the best promotion of Delhi Jaipur tourism under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of NFTC-National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited.

The committee has suggested the promotion of Jaipur city as tourist destination through different mediums of media including the help taken by newspaper Country and Politics, Radio Noida 107.4FM which is a World Radio, MarwahStudios.Com a television station and Asian News Agency.

Marwah Films And Video Production and the students of Asian Academy of Film And Television have planned a film on Jaipur. The project will be taken up in January next year. Marwah has taken the decision during his stay at Hotel Fairmont, Riico Kukas, Jaipur and followed by visit to Taj Rambagh Palace, Bhawani Singh Road and Hotel Marriot Ashram Marg.

“Like film on Taj Mahal, Agra has become the syllabus of AAFT, soon Jaipur will also be inducted as a part of syllabus at AAFT. This is for the first time in the World that any film school has taken up tourism projects as a part of their studies” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studio.

Renowned personalities like Mukesh Bhatt, Ketan Mehta, Shravan Rathod, Maann Singh Deep, Pankuj Parashar, Vivek Agnihotri, Manish Gupta, Mugdha Godse, Donal Bisht, Ashok Tyagi and Ketan Desai were present there.

H.E. Milan Hovorka from the Czech Republic, H.E. Jozef Drofenik of Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Demetrios A Theophylactou High Commissioner of Cyprus, H.E. Exhibitions by Aman Chotani, Kunal-Kapil Kapur, launching of Cyprus, Czech Republic and Romanian Cultural Forums, Sardar Patel Forum and a powerful award function were the parts of GFFN. Fashion shows by Asian School of Fashion And Design, Musical recital by Pakistani singer Shabbir Hussain, Pianoist Gurbani Bhatia and Bollywood songs by Arun Bakshi were the highlights of the evenings.
