ICMEI International Media Summit on 28th August Fixed

New Delhi: “There is a need to highlight the media and entertainment trade between two giants of the World that is India and USA. An International Media Summit has been designed to bring this relationship to public and people from the industry” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

IACC-The Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Marwah Studio are supporting this business cause. The 28th August has been fixed at Hyatt Regency New Delhi as its venue.

The Summit will have a formal inauguration followed by two technical sessions where discussions and question answers will be part of these sessions.

Some renowned personalities have been requested to be part of this summit from all over India and abroad. The meeting was attended by large number of members of International & National Coordination Committee including Chairperson Babeetta Sakxena Secretary General Ashok Tyagi and ASMS Director Dr. A.K. Srivastava.

Book on Cow Protection Released at Marwah Studio

Noida: “ Cow protection in India has always been a sacred duty of every individual to meet the needs of food production and ensure safety from Green House Gases thus becoming a value of life” said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the book ‘Cow Protection Imperative for Global Sustenance’ by D.B. Marwah Presented Films on World Blood Donor Day

Noida Film City: The theme of this year’s campaign is “Thank you for saving my life”. It focuses on thanking blood donors who save lives every day through their blood donations and strongly encourages more people all over the world to donate blood voluntarily and regularly with the slogan “Give freely, give often.

Blood donation matters.” The campaign aims to highlight stories from people whose lives have been saved through blood donation, as a way of motivating regular blood donors to continue giving blood and people in good health who have never given blood to begin doing so.

World Day Against Child Labour Observed at Marwah Studio

Noida Film City: The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to focus attention on the global extent of child labour and the action and efforts needed to eliminate it informed Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of IHRO affiliated to United Nations.

Each year on 12 June, the World Day brings together governments, employers and workers organizations, civil society, as well as millions of people from around the world to highlight the plight of child labourers and what can be done to help them.

Around the world, large numbers of children are engaged in paid or unpaid domestic work in the home of a third party or employer. These children can be particularly vulnerable to exploitation. Their work is often hidden from the public eye, they may be isolated, and they may be working far away from their family home. Stories of the abuse of children in domestic work are all too common.

World Day 2015 calls for free, compulsory and quality education for all children at least to the minimum age for admission to employment and action to reach those presently in child labour added Sandeep Marwah also the President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

The Shirdi Sai baba temple grossed Rs 1,009 crore in cash collections from grateful devotees in the last four year.50 Percent of the collection is given as donations. Some more money is to be spent in beautifying the place Marwah suggested.

The play is based on Shri Harishankar Prasad’s Short story by the same name. After the rigorous practice and rehearsals the students of Lehar Theatre Group of AAFT and ASMS brought the play to the professional level.

Theatre adds a lot to your personality, confidence, speech, pronunciation and acting skills. The subject of acting is the part of every course in Asian School of Media Studies & Asian Academy of Film And Television. The show will be repeated in due course of time on public demand.

ICMEI Join Hands With Country of Togo

New Delhi: A delegation of ICMEI comprising of President Sandeep Marwah and Secretary General Ashok Tyagi visited His Excellency Koffi Akakpo, Charge de Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Togo at New Delhi.

Sandeep Marwah explained to His Excellency that International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry [ICMEI] is the only chamber in the world, which is exclusively devoted to media and entertainment industry and is driven by the mission of uniting the world through art and culture.

Koffi Akakpo said,” French dubbed versions of Indian Cinema is extremely popular in Togo and we are open to joint ventures”.

Sandeep Marwah, President ICMEI said that offering scholarship to a deserving person from Togo for a short-term course at AAFT could make a beginning. A short film can also be sponsored for a film director from Togo.

Sandeep Marwah invited His Excellency to visit ICMEI campus located at Film City, Noida so that he can see the infrastructure and the pool of knowledge available to the chamber.

India And Burkina Faso Will Promote Culture Together

Noida Film City: “My countrymen have learned Hindi only by seeing Indian films, your films have impressed people of Burkina Faso” said H.E. Idriss Raoua Ouedraogo Ambassador of Burkina Faso to India on his visit to ICMEI international head Quarters in Noida.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment has created a separate committee for the development and promotion of films, television, media and other segments of entertainment on Burkina Faso. “I am ready to give every help needed to promote the relations and trade between two countries” said H.E. Idriss Raoua Ouedraogo.

“We invite a young director from Burkina Faso to come and shoot in India and can declare the first joint venture ever between the two countries” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI. “Marwah Studio has already send its consent as part of Indian investment,” added Marwah.

A festival of Burkina Faso films has been designed and Ambassador has agreed to inaugurate the same in the coming months informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.
