Mystical Concert with Chinmaya Dunster and Sandeep Srivastava at Marwah Studios

Noida: Asian School of Performing Arts in association with Asian Academy of Arts organized a powerful musical recital by Sandeep Srivastava from Goa and Chnmaya Dunster from Newszeland.

Chinmaya Dunster (born 1954 in Kent, England) is a sarod and Guitar player whose compositions incorporate elements of Celtic and Hindustani music. He is an active environmentalist and performs concerts to foster awareness for saving ecosystems and wildlife. Dunster has released over twenty CDs over the past quarter century.

Sandeep Srivastava is a gifted and dedicated vocalist and composer in his own right. His voice lends itself to a variety of styles Hindustani classical; light classical and devotional (Bhakti/Sufi); and more recently he is playing with ‘fusion’. He has composed music for theatre and dance; helped on NGO and out-reach projects; documentaries and film.

Later Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios presented both the personalities with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film And Television. The event was supported by Asian School of Performing Arts and International Camber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Team of Saat Uchakkey at Marwah Studios

Noida: Marwah Studios has been an international platform for film, television and media activities of the entertainment industry. More than 3200 events have been planned and conducted in last 25 years of its existence.

Recently renowned actors Manoj Bajpayee, Vijay Raaz, Aditi Sharma along with the producer Rahul Mittra and director Sanjeev Sharma of the feature film Saat Uchachkkey were there at the studios to interact with the students of Asian Academy of Film And Television and Asian School of Media Studies.

My relationship with Marwah Studios starts way back in 1994 when we were shooting here for feature film Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi. Sandeep Marwah is our senior. We have seen Marwah Studios growing strength by strength,” said Manj Bajpayee known for his traffic roles in Satya, Pinjar, LOC Kargil, Bevafaa, Tevar, and Traffic etc.

Keeping comedy in view Vijay Raz kept the audience in humor and said,” I was here at Marwah Studios for a month long shooting for feature film Run. We have grown big in all these years”.

Workshop Like United Nations at ASMS

Noida: We are supporting the activities of United Nations throughout the year. More than 50 events are planned every year to highlight the motives which are suggested by United Nations,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian School of Media Studies at the session planned by ASMS at Marwah Studios to learn the workings of United Nations.

School of Journalism pretended to be the United Nation and students were allotted different countries to project their requirements and suggestions under the Chairmanship of an expert to learn the ways and means how United Nations work.

Sandeep Marwah is the Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization, All India Human Rights Association, Al India Human Rights Council affiliated to United Nations. He is also the Patron to Indian Federation of United Nation Association and partners with United Nation Information Centre.

“It was indeed an extraordinary class with different experience for the students,” said Albeena Abbas Associate Dean Journalism. Dr. Ajay Kumar Director ASMS was the facilitator of the whole show.

Poster of 9th Global Film Festival Noida 2016 Launched

Noida: The biggest film festival of North India is just round the corner. The dates for the 9th Edition of the festival have been fixed for 17th to 19th of November, 2016.

It was a grand day when a popular actor, director and dance maestro Prabhu Deva launched the new poster of 9th edition of Global Film Festival Noida 2016. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios introduced the cast of Tutak Tutak Tutian to the huge audience at Noida Film City.

“Marwah Studios has been very lucky for me, last time I was here at the time of release of my film Wanted and it became super duper hit, this time my film Tutak Tutak Tutian is about to release I am sure I will carry lots of good luck from this center,” said Prabhu Deva while releasing the poster.

“We have worked very hard in this film, I am sure all of you will see this film,” said Sonu Sood famous for his films like Dabangg, Singh is Kingg, Jodha Akbar etc.

“I am impressed by the energy of media students here at Marwah Studios,” said Tamannaah Bhatia. She is famous for her roles in Hindi, Telgu and Tamil films. She has been the recipient of many awards for films like 100 Percent Love, Kanden Kadhalai, Thadaka, Bahubali etc. Malkit Singh sang a song from the film.

Fashion School added Glamour to 2nd Global Literary Festival

Noida: The first collection of the last and the 3rd day of 2nd Global Literary Festival Noida 2016 was Jauhar inspired by Rani Padmini, the queen of Chittorgarh. She was a perfect example of eternal beauty amalgamated with tremendous strength of character and Individuality. This exceptional combination of beauty and strength was perfectly displayed in the design collection. The designer Ms. Parkhi Goyal used a combination of elegance and boldness in her colors, silhouettes and fabric to depict the theme.

Ms. Monika Bansal designed the second collection “Cindrella”. The collection was deeply inspired by the extremities of life. It beautifully represented the truth of life that after every night there is sunshine and it’s the combination of ups and downs that makes life worth living.

The last collection was designed by Ms.Priyanka Arya (B.Sc. FD). The designer got the inspiration from the ocean. The ocean looks so calm outside but contains a lot of bewilderment inside. This combination of adventure and calmness was beautifully showcased through the collection.

The color combinations cut of the designers and perfect models added a lot to the show. The fashion show has added glamour to the 2nd Global Literary festival,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival congratulating Ritu Lal Associate Director of Asian School of Fashion And Design.

Powerful Display by Asian School of Fashion And Design at 2nd GLFN

Noida: The second day of 2nd Global Literary Festival Noida 2016 witnessed three collections. The first collection “Raas” designed by Mr. Vivek Rao (M.Sc. FD) represented the eternal bond of love and did absolute justice to its theme “Wedding”. It very aptly depicted the feeling of togetherness and culmination of two souls.

The second collection “Contrast” was an amalgamation of black and white inspired by extreme opposites. The designers Mr. Rajat Kalra and Ms. Rashmi Singh (Diploma FD) tried to showcase that without the black, white can’t be defined and vice-versa just like happiness and sadness holds no meaning without each other.

The third collection “Reflection” was inspired by the inner strength of a female, who has the capability to shine even in the darkest of nights. She absorbs all negativities and reflects back just the shine, sparkle and dazzle. The students of Diploma FD designed the collection.

The fashion school has grown professional in its approach. The products produced by students are at par with any popular and experienced fashion designers, I congratulate the whole team and associate director Ritu Lal for that,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

Fashion Show by Asian School of Fashion And Design at 2nd Global Literary Festival

Noida: On the first day of 2nd Global Literary Festival Noida 2016 three design collections were showcased. The show began with the collection “Kitaabein” designed by Ms. Ipshita Pani (M.Sc. FD). The collection was inspired by the world of books, which is losing its importance with the advancement of technology.

The concept of books locked inside the bookshelves and looking at us was beautifully presented in the form of garments. The second collection “Frolic Hearts” was inspired by the philosophy of the poets who have delivered a strong message of living life to the fullest, whatever the situation be.

The wonderful colors and extremely flamboyant silhouettes did complete justice to the inspiration. The collection was a combined effort of Ms. Surjeet Singh, Ms. Vishakha Bharti and Ms. Richa (Diploma FD) informed Ritu Lal Associate Director of School of Fashion And Design.

The last collection “Rang-Rez” was inspired by the various emotions the colors carry. It wonderfully showcased the various colors symbolizing different phases of life. The students of B.Sc. FD designed the collection.

Kathak Recital by Vidha Lal at 2nd Global Literary Festival

Noida: Entertainment is the essential part of any festival any where in the World. The performances of music and dance depict your culture and helps in learning more about the arts and culture of the place.

“With almost thirty countries participating in the Global Literary Festival it was necessary to show   our heritage and cultural to all these foreign delegates. Vidha Lal won the hearts of the audiences,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

Vidha Lal, a multi-faceted kathak exponent is a disciple of renowned guru smt. Geetanjali Lal of Jaipur gharana. Vidha has emerged as a rising star in the field of kathak. She is an empanelled artist of Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR) and ‘A’ grade artist from Delhi Doordarshan. Vidha has earned great acclaim in the media and from connoisseurs for her brilliant solo performances in India and abroad.

She received ‘Sri krishana Gana Sabha Endownment Award 2010’, Chennai. She made a Guinness world record for most numbers of spins (103) in one minute in 2011. Later Vimla Batham Member of the Legislative Assembly Noida in the capacity of Chief Guest honored Vida Lal with the participation certificate of 2nd GLFN.

The event was presented by Asian Academy of Arts and supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. Indo Wales Creative Forum, Indo Hungarian Film Association and Indo Malawi Cultural Forum were also participating.

Exhibition of Paintings Opened at 2nd Global Literary Festival

Noida: “Literature and all arts go together, there is lot to learn from them. Exhibition of paintings has added colors to the show,” said H.E. Jožef Drofenik Ambassador of Slovenia to India while inaugurating the exhibition at 2nd Global Literary Festival Noida 2016.

“No art can convince unless and until there is an aesthetic sense in it. These paintings are teaching us the same,” added Alfred Vilili Counselor of Embassy of Malawi in India.

Only artist can explain the details of the painting as he has conceived it like a baby. He goes through all the pains of making it before its display at exhibition hall,” said Jaleez Sherwani renowned film writer from Mumbai.

We believe in overall development of our students of cinema and journalism, therefore we teach them also through these art works. They learn how to appreciate the art,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Paintings are the expression of artists what he has in his mind and heart. Its is a book on canvas,” said Buddhinath Mishra a renowned national writer.
