New Delhi: “We all are here to develop and promote relations between India and Afghanistan. Many organizations are working in India in association with Afghanistan but very few have contributed extra ordinary to its growth and upliftment. ICMEI is one of them,” said Presenter from C D Foundation in a grand function organised by Charu Das to celebrate International Women’s Day and Holi together with Embassy of Afghanistan at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, New Delhi.

The Memento was presented to Dr. Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry by H.E. Farid Mamundzay Ambassador of Embassy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to India. “I congratulate you for your continuous efforts to bring the people of two countries together through art and culture,” said Ambassador while handing over the award.

“I am always thankful to the Embassy for their cooperation and participation. The Indo Afghanistan Film and Cultural Forum has been able to create a wonderful position for itself,” thanked Dr. Marwah also Chair for Indo Afghanistan Film and Cultural Forum.

Puttaswamy and Somaiya Maleyur honoured Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios for his sincere contribution to media during their visit to New Delhi recently.

We all have been celebrating all over Karnataka and other parts of the country and also foreign nations, this auspicious day now from last 11 years. “I am recollecting my involvement with Oscars twelve years back when a short film “Smile Pinky” brought first Oscar to India where we had provided opening and closing titles and the graphics and animation part of the film. I wish feature film  Triangle of Sadness may bestowed upon all the awards,” added Dr. Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“I propose H.E. to formally inaugurate Indo Sweden Film and Cultural Forum at International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to develop and Promote relations between the two creative Industries of India and Sweden,” expressed Marwah.

Triangle of Sadness is a 2022 satirical black comedy film written and directed by Ruben Östlund in his English-language feature film debut. The film stars Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, Dolly de Leon, Zlatko Burić, Henrik Dorsin, Vicki Berlin, and Woody Harrelson.  The story is about Carl and Yaya, a couple of influencers, are invited to a luxury cruise ship alongside a group of out of touch wealthy people. The situation takes an unexpected turn when a brutal storm hits the ship narrated by H.E. Jan Thesleff Ambassador of Sweden to India while addressing to the jam packed hall.

Noida: The Executive Council of Asian Alumni Association consisting of former students of Asian Academy of Film and Television together with Asian School of Media Studies met the President Dr. Sandeep Marwah for the new proposals for the year.

It has been decided to have Alumni Meet on 18^th of March 2023 at the premises of Marwah Studios and number of suggestions were made to make it a very vibrant, entertaining and colorful meeting followed by awards and Dinner.

“It is now almost 30 years we are in education and AAFT & ASMS have a very strong alumni association. I am proud of my students who all are doing very well in their chosen fields and spread out all over the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while talking to former students. “I would like to appreciate all the effort that is done by you all for the development of our society and thank you for justifying the years spent by you at this institution. Margaret Elizabeth Cousins 7 November 1878 – 11 March 1954) was an Irish-Indian educationist, suffragist and theosophist who established All India Women’s Conference (AIWC) in 1927. She was the wife of poet and literary critic James Cousins,  with whom she moved to India in 1915. She is credited with preserving the tune of the Indian National Anthem Jana Gana Mana  based on the notes provided by Tagore himself in February 1919, during Rabindranath Tagore’s visit to the Madanapalle College. She was a member of the Flag Presentation Committee which presented the National Flag to the Constituent Assembly  on 14 August 1947.

Choe Hui Choi Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India has been presented with Patronship of newly formed Indo DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum on the very first day of 11^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023 in a grand function at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“We are more than happy to have H.E. Choe Hui Choi Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India as our patron to Indo DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum. He is the best person to guide us and lead us in developing and promoting relations between India and Korea. We can grow much faster under his leadership,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

First time Indo DPRKorea Film and Cultural Forum has been formed. I will support you to my best. Together we can achieve higher targets,” said H.E. The ceremony was attended by members of media fraternity and film, TV & Media students from different institutions from India and abroad. Choe Hui Chol Ambassador of DPR Korea to India while releasing the poster of the forum.

The forum is created to have best of the relations between the people of India and Korea through art and culture. Different kinds of events can be planned to bring the strengths of both the countries on the table. People must learn the art and culture of both the countries,” added Ambassador Choe Hui Chol

Relations between India and DPR Korea have been generally characterised by friendship, cooperation and understanding. As members of the Non-Aligned Movement, there is a commonality of views between the two on many international issues, e.g. Disarmament, South-South Cooperation, etc. Both sides continue to work closely in international fora and support each other on various issues of bilateral and international interests.
