11th Global Festival of Journalism Announced for 15th to 17th February

Noida: The most popular and the only festival of its kind in the World-Global Festival of Journalism will see its eleventh edition from 15th to 17th February 2023 announced by the governing council of International Journalism Centre of Marwah Studios.

“This time 12th February is Sunday, and we are not able to start on holiday one of the greatest festivals on earth related to journalism. We, here at International Journalism Centre, have decided to celebrate 12th as International Day of Journalism, but festival will take place on 15th, 16th, and 17th of February,” said Sandeep Marwah President of IJC.

“It has been 12 years we have been propagating 12th February as International Day of Journalism. I am happy that large number of journalistic organizations in India and abroad have picked up the date and have been celebrating this great day on 12th February,”

Large preparations are on to create another landmark in the history. International Journalism Centre in association with AAFT University, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Asian Unity Alliance, AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication and other organizations are on the job to present an event of the journalists,  for the journalist and by the journalists.

Cashmir Bears Throne Book by Renzushah Released at Noida Film City

Noida: “When I have a little money, I buy books; That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet. You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them. Books are the best companions,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while releasing the 23rd book of Khawaja Farooq Renzushah at Asian Academy of Film and Television.

Khawaja Farooq Renzushah is a former officer of Kashmir Administrative Service and renowned Writer. His 23rd book  “Cashmir Bears Throne” saw light of the day in a grand function at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, where Renzushah described the reasons for writing this book. He also narrated some of the stories which were quite emotional. He also presented copies of the book to the dignities present there.

The event was designed by Writers Associations of India and Asian Academy of Arts. Dr. Manoj Agarwal Director AAFT School of Performing Arts and Dr Ajay Jha Executive Director of AAFT also spoke on the subject.  Later Sandeep Marwah honoured Khawaja Farooq Renzushah with memento and invited him to the next Global Literary Festival.

Indian Army Day Celebrated at Asian Academy

Noida: We may not me Army Academy but at Asian Academy of Film and Television we work like a military School. We have been giving full emphasis to discipline, Patriotism, Mannerism, Attire and Unity to make our students better citizens of India,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University celebrating Army Day at Marwah Studios in association with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

I have given nine years to forces. I was selected as Battalion Commander and rose up to District Commandant in Delhi Home Guards. Forces have taught me a lot. I believe there must be a chapter of Army Training in every School and College,” added Sandeep Marwah.

India celebrates Army Day on January 15 every year to commemorate the achievements of the first Indian Commander in Chief of the Indian Army — General (later Field Marshal) K.M. Cariappa and to honour defence forces.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Tourism Mart at New Delhi

New Delhi: Thirty years back we gave one term to English dictionary that is Film and Cultural Tourism, nobody new about it. “I love travelling. My link with tourism industry goes back in 1991 when we started Marwah Studios and then followed by AAFT and now we do have school of Hospitality and Tourism here in Noida and part of university in Raipur. Now the involvement is so deep that Government of 67 countries of the World have nominated us as their Cultural Ambassador. We are here to support you to our best. Road shows, workshops on tourism, seminars, interaction with different countries   are the regular feature with ICMEI,” added Sandeep Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University.

We should Promote Our Heritage Wholeheartedly-Sandeep Marwah

 Indian heritage can live for many more years if we also keep on adding new forts and palaces into the list of hotels and resorts. No doubt it is an expensive exercise, but some companies can come forward to do the needful on a continuous basis. There are hundreds of forts, palaces and heritage sites lying unattended,” added Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Honoured by French University

New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah is associated with large number of films, Television, media, social, cultural, educational, national & International organizations. He has been instrumental in bringing three million people to Noida Film City under Film and Cultural Tourism. Sandeep Marwah is associated with 7500 cultural events.,” citation was read by the anchor to honour Sandeep Marwah with Doctorate in Literature (Soft Power of India) by a French University.

The IIPPT Foundation organised the XVIIth Sorbon International Convocation on Jan 8, 2023 at the Hotel Leela Ambience Gurugram to honour some of the prominent people from India. The degree was presented by Dr. Thomas Prade President Ecole Superiuere Robert de Sorbon, France along with Dr Vivek Choudhry Vice President of ESRDS & Chairman of IIPPT Foundation, Padma Bhushan Ram Vaniji Sutarji renowned Artist, Sonu Sood popular actor and Ashok Talwar a well-known film director in the presence of large audience from India and abroad.

World Hindi Divas Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: I am proud to say that Hindi Film Industry has been an instrument in making Hindi one of the most popular languages in the World. The statistic speaks very clearly that after English, Chinese and Spanish, Hindi is the fourth largest speaking language in the World,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while releasing the poster of World Hindi Divas on 10th January to celebrate the auspicious day at Marwah Studios.

We are doing our bit of contribution to the whole show. We have introduced the language to our undergraduate students in different courses. Three radio stations namely Radio Noida, Radio Raipur, and Radio Mumbai along with our television station MSTV have been conducting and broadcasting their programs in Hindi throughout the year. Our library is full of Hindi books including poetry, novels, and other major subjects. Most of our events are in Hindi. The productions of short films are also in Hindi.

The most important is the constitution of Hindi Cinema Samman during Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh every year. Where we honor 30 prominent personalities from India and abroad who all have promoted Hindi through Hindi Cinema. Probably one of the most famous programs of the capital of India.

The poster was released to mark respect to the popular language of Hindi. All the faculty members and students paid compliment on the occasion. The event was supported by Writers Association of India and Asian Academy of Arts.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Remembered at Marwah Studios

Noida: Today, the 11th January, is the Death Anniversary of Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, the former Prime Minister of India, and many powerful quotes, I am recollecting, said by him during his tenure as Prime Minister of India. The most famous was- Jai Jawan Jai Kisan,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University while garlanding the picture of late Prime minister at Marwah Studios.

He always emphasized on discipline. He said Discipline and united action are the real source of strength for the nation. He also said that I had always been feeling uncomfortable in my mind about giving advice to others and not acting upon it myself. He expressed that You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and work hard for it.

Lal Bahadur Shastri served as the second Prime Minister of India from 1964 to 1966. He passed away on January 11, 1966 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (then Soviet Union), a day after signing a peace treaty with Pakistan to end the 1965 Indo-Pakistan war.

A prayer meeting was organised by  AAFT School of Performing Arts in the campus of Marwah Studios to pay tribute to one of the most acceptable and loveable Prime Ministers of India. The event was supported by World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Sandeep Marwah Once Again on Board of PHDCCI

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University once again has been nominated on the board of PHD Chamber of Commerce as stated by the Secretary General and CEO of the Chamber Saurab Sanyal.

“Dr Sandeep Marwah is one of the most exclusive members of the Chamber and has been nominated to the managing committee of PHD. This time he is the Chairperson for Entertainment and AVGC Committee. He has been member of Managing Committee for more than seventeen years,” said Saurab Sanyal.

New Year Calendar Launched at Marwah Studios

Noida: The New Year Calendar for 2023 designed and prepared by the students of AAFT School of Journalism & Mass Communication along with AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising was presented to the visiting guest from Hungary Edit Osko a well-known member of the Hungary Tourism Industry to launch on the auspicious day of 9th January.

“What a pleasure to release the new Year calendar that is also designed by the students of this institution, has made me learn the quality of education being provided here in AAFT and the love and respect what Dr. Sandeep Marwah is commanding within the campus, can be seen comfortably,” said Edit Osko while uncovering the 2023 calendar.

The 12 months are represented by the 12 different moods of Sandeep Marwah Chairman of the organization and renowned international media personality. The calendar was presented by Dr. Ajay Jha Executive Director of AAFT.
