Musical Evening By Gurinder Seagal

What compositions, what beat and Gurinder Seagal won the hearts of all the media students who all were attending the music concert designed by AB Productions of Aman Khurana at Marwah Studios.

“This is my first show in India and I am lucky that I have been blessed by the veteran media person Sandeep Marwah. I have gained a lot today at Marwah Studios not only name and fame but a great association” said Gurinder Seagal after entertaining for two hours at Noida Film City.

“The response was more than my own expectations; my event management company has been established with the first show. I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah who trusted me.” said AmanKhurana, the promoter of Gurinder from London.

The show was attended by all the outgoing students of 81st batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television. Later Sandeep Marwah honored the guest with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.

Farooq Sheikh No More

“We have not only lost a veteran actor but also a very nice human being. Our association with Farooq was a long one” said Sandeep Marwah expressing his gratitude towards departed soul who has been a senior member of the film fraternity.

Farooq Sheikh was popular with his first film GaramHava and then never looked back. Some of his most prominent films like Shatranj Ke Khilari, Gaman, Noorie, UmraoJaan, Chashme Badoor, SathSath, Bazar, Gharwalli Baharwali, Maya Memsaab, Mohabbat, Lahore and Ye Jawani Hai Dewanietc have been appreciated by public and critics.

“The film family has lost a very important member. The loss is irreparable. We all pray for his soul to rest in peace. We have worked with him in Ji Mantri Ji and Ji PradhanMantri Ji two TV series for NDTV at Marwah Studios for more than 3 months. He had been also the member with us at PHD Chamber of Commerce in Entertainment & Media Committee” informed Marwah.

Seema Biswas With Sandeep Marwah

The leading lady and the supporting actress of many films, SeemaBiswas who started her first feature film Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi from Marwah Studios in 1993 with ShekharKapur as director, turned emotional while talking to the students of Asian Academy of Film And Television, school of performing arts and school of media studies in the master class when she said that “It’s like coming home after many years. I have remembered each and every wall of Marwah Studios where I had spent three months”.

“I am proud that SeemaBiswas has considered Marwah Studios as her first school of film acting. ‘Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi’ became one of the most popular Indian International Film.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Education Group while appreciating the works of this lady and her achievements.

Answering to the questions SeemaBiswas narrated many consequences of her life with real experiences to the students of acting who all were amazed with her talent. Her role in Khamoshi, HazarChurasiakimaa, Bhoot, Ghaav, Company, Pinjar, Water were discussed in detail.

“SeemaBiswas is a very sensitive actress and gets deeply into the character” said SatishAnand dean Acting highlighting her love for theatre. Others who spoke on the occasion were dean AAFT, LatikaSahani dean ABS and R.K.Singh dean ASMS. To honor SeemaBiswasSandeep Marwah presented her the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Sandeep Marwah Honored Neetu Chandra

International Women’s Film Forum has emerged as one of the important organizations of Marwah Studios. IWFF- The voluntry association is working on every issue concerning women. Some of the most prominent ladies of the country are the members of this organization.

Recently Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios presented the life membership of International Women’s Film Forum to renowned actress Neetu Chandra on her visit to Marwah Studios, who has created a wonderful niece for herself in Indian film Industry in no time.

Neetu Chandra started her carrier with feature film Garam Masala and then no looking back. She has already worked in more than 25 films in Hindi, Telgu, Tamil and also performed in Greek film. She is also the producer of Bhojpuri film.

Feature Film Super Model

The media students at Marwah Studios were more than happy to interact with the renowned Pakistani actress Veena Malik in a joint class during the visit of complete team of forth coming feature film Super Model directed by NavinBatra.

Life is not bed of roses, after long hours of hard work puts you on the platform of glamour said Ashmit Patel the lead star of the film. “Film and television education is only useful when you keep the enthusiasm on” added Veena Malik. “You have to be in love with your profession to be successful in your life” stated Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios welcoming all the guests.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Women’s Film Forum to Veena Malik, SiaArora, Vishakha Gupta and membership of IFTC to Naveen Batra, Ashmit Patel, Ravi Ahlawat, DJ Sheizswood and Mohd. Ali.

DJ Sheshwood, the music director of the film created a wonderful environment by singing the songs from the film Super Model. The program was attended by RajkumariChowdhry of AKC Enterprises, KunwarAjeet Singh of Barter Universal and Bharat Gauba& Syed Shameem Anwar of The Great India Place.

AAFT in Lead

“I need blessings from my teachers as again I am coming with my new film. I can never forget what I have learned from AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television” said Gurmeet Singh director of feature film What The Fish.

Gurmeet Singh’s ‘What The Fish’, which was ready for release, will now hit theatres on December 13. The film stars veteran actress Dimple Kapadia in the lead.

We at AAFT will give full support to the director Gurmeet Singh who has already proved to be the perfect film director” expressed Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

The film’s story revolves around the protagonist who has to leave town and needs someone to take care of her money plant and fish. She then decides to leave the house in the care of her niece. The film is about the hilarious turn of events which take place in the house in her absence.

English Vinglish In Delhi

Thanks to the special star studded show in Delhi where the leading lady of the feature film ‘Enhlish Vinglish’ Sridevi along with her husband Boney Kapoor, the director Gauri Shinde and producer R. Balki saw the film along with Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

The film marks the comeback of Sridevi after a 14-year sabbatical The film also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou Adil Hussain, and Priya Anand. Amitabh Bachchan makes a guest appearance in the Hindi version of the film. This film also marks the comeback of Sridevi to Tamil cinema after 26 years.

Sridevi plays the central role of a Pune-based Maharashtrian housewife, who enrolls for an English language course in order to please her husband and family. Shinde wanted her characters to be rooted and so they decided that the family will be Marathi, which is why the film was shot in Pune. Sridevi’s character is inspired from Gauri’s mother.

The film is super and the concept is excellent. After very long you can admire the film without any hesitation said Sandeep Marwah.

Asian Academy

“I am very excited to meet the young Indian Actors at Asian Academy Of Film And TV and so well they have preformed”, said Michael J Fox expressing his views after admiring the performance of acting students of the biggest film school of this part of the World. “I am thankful to SandeepMawah, the president of the school for entertaining me and the unit of ABC.” who are shooting a documentary on Michel J Fox and his visit to Asian Academy Film And Television AAFT in India.

“I have learned with every performance and every award is the source of inspiration for me to look forward.” added Michael J Fox while addressing the students at Marwah Studios .Michael has been in nomination for Golden Globe Awards for ten times and has received four times. He has been nominated ten times for Emmy Awards and also received four of then. He has received two times Screen Guilds Award for his Acting .His all time hit films” Back to The Future I, II and III” ,The American President, The Frighteners brought him many laurels .Michael F Fox has been rated as best actor for his performance in television serials like Spin City, Family Ties, Boston Legal, Tied With Bill Cosby, ect.

The whole campus of Asian Academy Of Film And TV was bubbling with excitement on the arrival of this giant Actor from Hollywood who talked about positive energy and hard work with the all acting students .Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City extended his heartiest thanks to Michael J Fox by presenting him the Life Membership and Patron ship of International Film And Television Club.

“Film Making is the most expensive expression, an actors has to be fully trained for their job and film Schools can groom them to the best” said Rahul Roy the leading actor of 23 films including Aashiqui, Junoon, Gumrah, PehlaNasha, Naseeb, Achanak and many more from the platform of Marwah Studios to the young and new aspirants of Film and Television trade.” India is the largest film producing country in the World, you are bound to get work in the industry” Rahul motivated the students of AAFT, ASMS and Asian Business School.

“We sell three billion tickets of Cinema Halls in one year, which is largest in the World even more than Hollywood, USA” added Sandeep Marwah introducing the Media Education System of Marwah Studios.” Our teaching, training and education system is no less than IITs and IIMs of India”explained Marwah.

Rahul Roy later took the workshop of Acting students of short term and one year course of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and answered many questions to clear their doubts. Rahul Roy also accepted the membership of International Film And Television Club.

Kiara Advani And Mohit Marwah

Mumbai: B Town superstar Akshay Kumar, who has given a break to Anil Kapoor’s nephew, Mohit Marwah as male lead for his flick Fugly, has finally found a fresh face Kiara Advani to play female lead in the venture.

Recently, she has been signed for the pivotal role in the forthcoming film. Kiara will make her acting debut apposite Mohit. She will portray the actor’s lady love and the upcoming movie Fugly will be directed by Kabir Sadanand.

While praising the talented girl, Kabirsaid,”Yes, we have signed Kiara. She was outstanding during the auditions and we think she is the right choice for the role”.

The newcomer always wanted to work in the films, now she has eventually got the chance in Khiladi Kumar’s project.

Excitingly one of the close source shared, “She always wanted to be an actress. Getting a role in Akshay’s film is a big opportunity. She is leaving no stone unturned to get the right body language required for the role”.

Advani’s family has very good terms with the Bollywood god father Salman Khan. Even he kept on guiding her about the industry. Even Salman also wanted to launch her in his upcoming project but due to his close friend Yardi he left the idea behind.
