National Youth Day Celebrated at AAFT University

New Delhi: National Youth Day is celebrated on 12 January being the birthday of Swami Vivekanand, one of India’s greatest spiritual and social leaders. In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.

“Swami saw hope for the future in every child and believed that with “muscles of iron” and “nerves of steel” they could bring about social change. Swami himself personified the eternal energy of the youth and a restless quest for truth. Today, almost 50 percent of India’s population is under the age of 25. The future of the country rides on their shoulders- making celebrations that empower young people so important,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media Arts in a webinar to celebrate National Youth Day in association with Scouts Guides Organisation.

“Swami Vivekananda propounded the importance of Education in building a nation. He believed that education was the primary means to empowering people. He specially emphasized on education being relevant to the common masses,” added Dr. Marwah who is also Chief Scout For India.

National Youth Day creates awareness and provides knowledge about the rights of people in India. It is a day to educate people to behave properly in the country. The main objective behind the celebration is to make a better future of the country by motivating the youths and spreading the ideas of the Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also famous as Yuva Diwas.

ICMEI Congratulates on Slovenian Independence Day

Slovenian Independence and Unity Day commemorates the official proclamation of the referendum’s results. On 23 December 1990, Slovenians voted a referendum to decide whether or not to break away from Yugoslavia. On 26 December 1990, the results of the referendum were made public and 88.5% of voters voted in favour of Independence

Slovenian Independence and Unity Day is celebrated annually on 26 December. Independence and Unity Day has been observed as a public holiday in Slovenia sine 2005.

“It is almost seven years we are working in hand to hand with the Embassy of Slovenia and Indo Slovenia Film And Cultural Forum is one of the most active forums in Delhi. Awards Declared on The Closing Event of 13th Global Film Festival

Noida: The results of all the competitions were declared on the day of Beating Retreat when management of Marwah Studios, AAFT University and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry paid their gratitude to each and every one associated with the biggest film festival GFFN online this year of pandemic 2020.

“I on behalf of ICMEI, Marwah Studios and AAFT University take this honor to pay our gratitude-special thanks to each and every participant who has contributed in declaring Global Film Festival Noida 2020 as the biggest film festival of the World on line,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“13th Global Film Festival has 20 events 60 countries involvement 200 participants who spoke from the stage of GFFN 500 Media houses, 20,000 members of IFTC, 150,000 audience and 450,000 views in three days. I must say that Global Film Festival has grown to another level,” added Dr. Marwah.

Awards were announced for 13th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in four categories of Fiction, Documentary, Music Video and Stills. Award for short films made by the Students of AAFT, Films made by students of ASMS and short films of competition category were also awarded.

Yogesh Bhatia Chairman Detel India sponsored the awards, renowned actress Payal Ghosh was the chief Guest, Umesh Bisth Film Maker, Rajeev Choudhary Film Producer, Ashok Tyagi secretary General ICMEI, Soumyajit Mahapatra Image and Brand Strategist, Solomon Idubamo Motivational Speaker were the guest of honors. Chair of the jury Yogesh Mishra also spoke on the occasion.

Higher Education Is Changing Its Trend- Sandeep Marwah

Noida: “The whole education should be based on creating values and developing students as a good human being by evoking right emotions and thinking out of the box, whether it is a pre covid  or post covid era. These things will never change, they are constant,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at the Education summit organized by EduTV.

“All these changes, which have been brought by Pandemic, have resulted into few changes in school education also. The school education now based on 1. Aural Learning through music     and sound 2. Solitary learning that is by self -study,” added Dr. Marwah.

Innovative Ways of teaching and learning, e. Life Skills and Workforce preparation, f. Student led Learning through connecting guardians families and schools and last g. emerging technologies.

International Journalism Centre Announces 9th Global Festival of Journalism 2021

New Delhi: The Central Committee of IJC-International Journalism Centre declared the dates of next event that is 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021. The Committee meeting took place at Marwah Studios at its international Head Quarters under the leadership of Global President Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“We are pleased to announce the dates of next Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 as 12th to 14th February 2021. February 12th is an International Day of Journalism, 13th is a World Radio Day and 14th is Valentines Day. It has been nine years we have been working on this grand international event to attract the attention of journalists from all over the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

International Journalism Centre was created with the aim and objectives to start a community radio station, a community television station, a newspaper to give news on art and culture, to enrol journalist associations as its members, to look into the interest and needs of journalists to promote positive and constructive journalism. It also aims to educate & promote young aspirants in the profession of journalism.

Chief Scout For India Sandeep Marwah Congratulated The Nation on New Year

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Senior Vice President of CEGR 2021

New Delhi: In the National meeting of the members of the Managing Committee of  CEGR- Centre For Education Growth and Research Dr. Sandeep Marwah the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts Raipur and now National Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee of BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Government of India  was elected as the Senior  Vice President of the  council. The  last meeting of the year met virtually.

Earlier Mr. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chancellor, Shobhit University was elected as the new National President of CEGR for the Calendar Year 2021 replacing  Sanjiv Goswami the outgoing President. The meeting was Chaired by Prof. K.K. Agarwal Mentor CEGR and Chairman National Board of Accreditation.

The new managing committee also consists of Prof. R. Hariharan, Advisor (Approval), AICTE: Mr. V. M. Bansal Chairman NDIM,  Dr. Davish Jain Chairman Prestige Education Foundation, Dr. Rakesh Chharia General Secretary IMS Group of Institutions, Dr. Ashwani Lochan Chairman Arunachal University of Studies and Prof. K. AAFT University will Launch Radio Raipur on 13th February on World Radio Day

Raipur: AAFT University of Media And Arts has planned to launch its radio station on 13th February, 2021 being the World Radio Day for the state of Raipur which can be heard all over the World being available on line.

“More than Hundred and thirty years after the world’s first station was founded, radio is still the most pervasive, accessible, affordable, and flexible mass medium available, especially in the developing world. The power of radio is not that it speaks to millions, but that it speaks intimately and privately to each one of those millions,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while talking to the media students at Raipur.

“We are very excited to launch our Radio Station from Raipur. We have enough experience of 10 years of conducting Radio Station activities through our Radio Noida 107.4FM and Radio Noida.fm. This would have been there by now but owing to Pandemic the project got delayed by few months,” added Dr. Marwah.

Dr. Sushil Bharti Director Radio Noida has been appointed as the acting Director of Radio Raipur and shall be responsible for the launch of the same. The faculty and students of AAFT University are involved with the launching and day to day affairs of the Radio Station.

MSTV will Broadcast Series of Show Titled Sur Taal Hunar Ka Kamaal

New Delhi: Urvashi Dance Music Art and Cultural Society in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry conducted a series of program inclusive of Indian Classical music and dance competition which was open to the Whole World during the Pandemic period of 2020 under the title Sur Taal Hunar Ka Kamaal.

“Eighteen episodes consisting of approximately 150 artists from different countries including United Kingdom, Russia, USA, Bangladesh, UAE, France and Switzerland participated in this competition who will be further selected by the jury to the quarter final show. The whole series was designed, planned and executed on web to keep the artists busy and involved during Pandemic,” informed Rekha Mehra renowned Kathak Exponent and Director of Urvashi Dance Music Art and Cultural Society.

“Everybody is talented because everybody who is human has something to express. There is no dearth of talent in this country and even rest of the World. This program has proved that Indian classical dance and music both are liked and loved by people all over the World. We have learnt that  you have to believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Now MSTV and Radio Noida 107.4Fm will showcase the 18 episodes of competition where 150 artists have participated. The exact time of broadcast will be soon informed by the authorities. The show will be supported by AAFT University of Media And Arts, Ministry of Culture and ICCR-Indian Council For Cultural Relations of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
