Story Telling Is an Art-Sandeep Marwah at 6th Global Literary Festival

New Delhi:  “Even if you are writing a story for  book publication or a story for a feature film the fact is that it has to be out of the box, different from many others and has to be somewhere close to reality to catch an eye and attention of the reader and viewer. Story telling is an Art,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a session to discuss stories during the second day of Global Literary Festival Noida 2020.

“How does one define the word story? Long, short, funny or serious? Dark, inspirational, or possibly captivating? Each person has his or her own unique story to tell.  Stories are never-ending journeys, hidden talents or suppressed memories, all waiting to be told. We all have a distinct definition of a story, so why not share yours,” provoked Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the writers who were attending the session.

“Storytelling is our obligation to the next generation. If all we are doing is marketing, we are doing a disservice, and not only to our profession, but to our children, and their children. Give something of meaning to your audience by inspiring, engaging, and educating them with story. Stop marketing. Start storytelling,” said Pramod Kumar Tiwari who was also conducting the program.

“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon,” added Ravi Bhushan senior Critic. We are all storytellers. We all live in a network of stories. There isn’t a stronger connection between people than storytelling,” said .Mahesh Katare renowned writer. “You’re never going to kill storytelling because it’s built into the human plan. We come with it,” said Rakesh Bihari popular writer.

“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world,” expressed Sushil Bharti while giving vote of thanks to the veteran story writers of the nation. The event was supported by AAFT University and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

We Are Here to Support Art and Culture- Sandeep Marwah

London: “It has been more than 30 years we are promoting art and culture including films, television, media, education and tourism. We have always believed that you can bring love, peace and unity through art and culture. Seven thousand events we have created with a bye line stating the same,” said Sandeep Marwah in conversation with the members of Sanskruti Centre for Culture Excellence, London and Root Skills India.

Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and AAFT University was invited by a well-known art promotion association of London- Sanskruti Centre for Culture Excellence for a motivational talk and to speak about his journey in art and culture field.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah spoke about his deep involvement in all fine arts and performing arts and offered talented people to come forward. He also proposed coverage of artist from London on radio Noida and MSTV. Dr. Marwah invited art lovers to be part of four major international events of Marwah Studios including Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival and Global Fashion Week.

The talk was followed by question answer session by the residents of London and lovers of art, where President of the organization Raghasudha Vinjamuri introduced Dr. Marwah to the audience, Bhavisha Buddhadeo founder CEO Rootskills paid vote of thanks.

Learn from Our Ancestor on Environment- Sandeep Marwah

Mumbai: Hundreds of years back our ancestor wrote in the form sholakas that the survival of the human race is only possible if there is a survival of air, water and vegetation. We all have misused and abused the facilities God has given on this mother earth. It is the high time we should change and start serving the earth in every possible manner,” said Sandeep Marwah in the capacity of Chief Guest at the conference on Plantation drive and Environment Conservation organized by AKP Healing India.

Sandeep Marwah who has created more than hundred organisations on environment in different parts of the country and initiated hundred different programs related to environment, spoke about his contribution to create awareness about environment.

“I feel satisfied when my newspaper, radio station and television station speak about environment every day. My production company has produced number of films on pollution and environment. I have also initiated Environment program with five million students of scouts and guides program representing million schools,” added Sandeep Marwah.

Large number of organization and environmentalists participated in the conference. Many new points emerged during discussion. Amit Kaur Puri President AKP Healing India presented Global Green Ambassador award to Sandeep Marwah.

ICMEI Celebrated National Day of Lesotho

A serious meeting started when A delegation of 14 senior officers of Government of Lesotho under the leadership of the Principal Secretary Office of the Prime Minister of Lesotho Ms Mataeli Makhele visited Marwah Studios and proposal of creating Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Form was thrown on the table in December 2017.

It was followed by signing of MOU between International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and High Commission of Lesotho in India through H.E. Bothat Tsikoane then the High Commissioner and Sandeep Marwah  President ICMEI to promote the activities between the two countries through art and culture. Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair for Indo Lesorho Film and Cultural Forum.

Seminar on Women Empowerment and Writing at 6th GLFN

Women are already strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios  during the seminar on Women Empowerment And Writing on the second day of at 6th Global Literary Festival Noida 2020 while launching the book on Women’s Empowerment by Anju Handa.

National Day of Iraq Celebrated at ICMEI

The bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of India have traditionally been friendly and collaborative. Cultural interaction and economic trade between Indus Valley and Mesopotamia date back to 1800 BCE. The 1952 Treaty of Friendship established and strengthened ties between contemporary India and Iraq. By the 1970s, Iraq was regarded as one of India’s closest allies in the Middle East.

“I am happy that recently we have formed Indo Iraq Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between two countries and looking for opportunities to promote relation between people to people. Indo Nigerian Cultural Association Celebrated National Day of Nigeria

“Indo Nigerian Film Association was the first committee which we inaugurated in Marwah Studios jointly with High Commission of Nigeria in 2002. Visit of Ministers and Governors of Nigeria to Marwah Studios and my two visits to Nigeria has added a lot to the promotion of relations of two countries. I am thankful to Association of Nigerian Students in India for nominating me as patron. I also appreciate Association of African Students in India for giving me the Chair of Chief Advisor. Visit of German business Delegation and performance by German Artists at Marwah Studios were few of the events added to our relations. There is a chapter on Germany which has been recently created by AAFT University of Media And Arts in India. Our motto of ICMEI is to spread love, peace and unity through art and culture.

Indo Cyprus Cultural Forum Celebrated National Day of Cyprus

Agis Loizou High Commissioner of Cyprus to India and the people of Cyprus on the auspicious occasion of National Day of Cyrus which falls on 1st October,” messaged Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And entertainment Industry.

Our friendship & relations with Cyprus are very strong and we would love to enhance the same through films, television, media, art and culture. All these years we have been putting our best to promote Cyprus culture in India and vice versa through Indo Cyprus Film And Cultural Forum created jointly by High Commission of Cyprus in India and ICMEI,” said Marwah who is also chair for Indo Cyprus Film And Cultural Forum.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah had already been to Cyprus two times with two different delegations. Once it was representing the tourism industry and other was the promotion of cinema and locations of Cyprus. There is a special chapter on Cyprus created by AAFT University of Media and Arts in India too.
