International Youth Day of UN Celebrated at New Delhi

New Delhi: “India is the biggest youth power. 65 percent of Indian population is youth. We have to keep our young Indian all the time motivated and have to train them to use this powerful energy in the right direction. They are the real future of Great India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in the opening remarks in a webinar to celebrate International Youth Day by Lions Club of Delhi Veg in association with Indian Council For Human Relations and Confederation of Young Indians.

Sandeep Marwah emphasized on a phrase- Ambitions to Attitude. Marwah added, ”It is very important to have big dreams and also to have a very polite attitude to be successful in life. There is no alternate to hard work. The youth must believe in Indian theories, traditions to take the culture to next generation. It is a age of ICE- Information, Communication and Entertainment, they should be well prepared in these lines to compete with the World.”

All Schools Must Start Scouts Guides Program- Sandeep Marwah

Indo Bosnian Relationships Highlighted By ICMEI

New Delhi: A webinar was organized by ICMEI- International Media and Entertainment Industry in association with Indo Bosnia Film and Cultural Forum to highlight the Bilateral Trade and Cultural relations between the two countries. H. E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India was the Chief Guest.

“The Government of both the countries are in a very good relationship now. Our association with India was established in the year 1992; the embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina opened in the year 1999 in New Delhi. The Diplomatic delegations from both the countries have been visiting to take the relationship to a newer height. Two major investments by Indian groups are in Steel and Chemicals. Agreement on Trade was signed in 2002 whereas Joint Business Council was signed in 2003. The total trade between the two countries has risen from 61.1 Million US $ to 86.2 in 2018,” informed H.E. Muhamed Cengic in his keynote address.

“one of my projects is complete but due to the pandemic I am unable to release the film. Large number of festivals planned this year including Sarajevo Film Festival, the Ballet Festival, the Music festival have to be postponed due to the present situation,” expressed Faruk Loncarevic a well known film maker from Bosnia jointly addressed the webinar.

Replying to queries Faruk said that he was an ardent fan of Indian films and Bollywood. He mentioned that Directors like Satyajeet Ray and Guru Dutt were remarkable; film like thee idiots has appealed to him and he asks his students to watch this film. He stressed on direct communication with India to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.

Need To Raise The Standards of Media Education- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “There is definitely need of raising the standards of film, television and media education in the country as many unwanted, half-baked and unprepared institutions have immerged during last few years who all are not at all equipped for a well-designed education and training in media,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts in a webinar organized by Uday Shankar Pani a well-known film maker under the title Bharatiya Chalchitra Samvad.

Speaking on the occasion in the capacity of Chief Guest Shri Ram lal Ji senior RSS Leader and former National General Secretary of BJP guided all film makers and head of many schools running different media courses to inculcate nationalism and patriotism in the education system. He also emphasized towards promotion of the Indian culture and traditions as part of media training.

Dr. Marwah informed the house that Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Government of India under Bureau of Indian Standards has already taken a bold step of raising the standard of media education in India.

Institutions Must Provide Space to Enhance Creativity- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: A webinar series under the title India’s Admission Hunt 2020 –Vice Chancellor’s Conclave powered by College Duniya, which is an initiative of ASMS invited Education leaders to speak on role of creativity in education.

“Imagination and creativity are the traits that fuel the future. Both serve to inspire students and should be integrated into every part of learning. In planning and designing learning for students, this we know: Teaching students how to think is more important than teaching students what to think,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“We should set up learning activities that allow students to explore their creativity in relevant, interesting, and worthwhile ways. We must value creativity and celebrate and reward it. We must teach students the other skills they need to be creative and remove constraints for creativity, give the students space and a framework in which they can be creative,” suggested Dr. Marwah addressing hundreds of students.

“My visit to Vatican city gave me enough confidence when a spiritual city has been actually carved as a separate country. This action is not only going to bring a sense of oneness within Indian and people of the World but will also turn out to be the biggest source of tourism and rich economy,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Powerful webinar by Indo Gabon Cultural Forum of ICMEI

New Delhi: The Charge d Affairs, Embassy of Gabon in India, Ms. Josephine Patricia NTYAM EHYA, participated in a webinar organized by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the Indo Gabon Cultural Forum to discuss about the Indo Gabon relations and the situation of Covid 19 in her country.

Ms. Ehya praised the President of Gabon H E Ali Bongo Ondimba for controlling the cases of Corona in Gabon as well as all the ministries of her country who had played a major role during the pandemic. She informed that sampling is being done at a large scale and measures to maintain social distancing are being strictly adhered. Ads in media are being shown at regular intervals and usage of masks has been made compulsory. Sanitization at all the offices, airports, malls and other public places is being done on a regular basis.

Talking about the business in Gabon the Charge d Affairs said that entrepreneurs are coming up and we are very pleased that new business houses are coming up in Gabon. Around 800 Indians are staying in Gabon and are associated with various industries. Indian firms like Bharti Airtel, Oil India Ltd., Ramky Infrastucture Ltd. and M3M India Limited are a few organizations, which are already working in Gabon. She pointed out that obtaining Visa for Gabon has been very much simplified; one way is to get the visa online and secondly if you have an invitation letter the Visa will be provided at the airport on arrival.

Replying to queries raised by the audience she mentioned that presently imports are higher but we are looking forward to increase exports of commodities palm oil, wooden articles and agriculture and they look forward to getting new techniques of agriculture from India. Regarding the film industry she stated that the films are made in French although a small film industry many films have been nominated and screened in various festivals across the world. She also offered Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President ICMEI to have an MOU with IGIS (INSTITUT GABONAIS DE L’IMAGE ET DU SON) for cooperation in the broadcasting sector.

Art is The Base of Spirituality- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: Any artist can reach to the new heights when he has a passion for his art.
