National Day of Rwanda Celebrated at Marwah Studios

IRFCF- Indo Rwanda Film And Cultural Forum created by the Embassy of Rwanda in India and ICMEI has grown brick by brick. Few interesting events have taken place and many more are in the pipeline. IRFCF has already delved a scholarship to the deserving student to study cinema or related subject here in India at AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Indo Rwanda Film And Cultural Forum had been also partners with Global Festival of Journalism, Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival and Global Fashion Week earlier. A festival of films from Rwanda could not be planned because of the social distancing and Covid 19 pandemic attack.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Co President of Cellphone Festival in Cannes

Cannes:  The second edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema designed and promoted by Angelique Monet of AFI World Peace Initiative opted Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios of Republic of India as the Co-President of the Festival at Cannes in France.

Professor Karl Bardosh an award winning filmmaker from USA has been appointed as The President of the Jury & Artistic Director of the festival.  Lawrence David Foldes a critically acclaimed director serves as the Student Academy Executive Committee; OSCARS USA is the President of the Jury. Renowned film, television, media personality and educator Sandeep Marwah is the Co-President of the jury for this festival.

Renowned award winning film makers and public figures have also joined the Jury namely Bruno Chatelin former Head of Sony and Fox theatrical in France, Princess Moradeun Adedoyin- Solarin film and television personality from Nigeria, Professor Peter Terezaki Environmentalist & Photographer, Peter Ferris filmmaker from UK, Luba Balagova President & Founder of Sochi International Film Festival & Awards Russia, Gulrukh Khan filmmaker & writer from UK, Petra Terzi Founder of Cultural International Festivals Cyprus & Greece,  Dr. Zlatina Filipova  Arts Philanthropy from  Bulgaria and Yuan Yuan Chen of China Hollywood co-production from China joined the board.

WPDRF Celebrated National Doctor’s Day

New Delhi: WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation in association with ICMEI-  International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television celebrated Ist July as National Doctor’s Day which is dedicated to the honest work of people with noble profession-being The Medical Doctor.

“Doctor’s Day in India was established by the Government of India in 1991 to value doctors and their role in the country’s development. National Doctors day in India is a big awareness campaign offering great opportunities to all to get aware of the roles, importance, and responsibilities of the doctors as well as promote medical professionals to come closer and follow the responsibilities of their profession in a very dedicated manner,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT and WPDRF in a webinar specially organized to observe the Doctors Day.

“This day has special significance this year. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, doctors and physicians all around the world have been recognized for their selfless service and acts. New Delhi: A popular book titled- ‘A Walk In The Corridors of Eternity’ written by a young writer Shreeya Katyal -A biography on the world-renowned media person Sandeep Marwah is now going for the second edition as the first edition is totally sold out, informed Anil Verma of legendary publishers Star Publication, New Delhi.

AAFT Is Proud of Alumna Eden kuriakosse

Bangalore: Hailing from the picturesque God’s own country Eden kuriaokosse is a perfect amalgamation of beauty with brains. This diva was introduced to the industry with K.M. ICMEI Invited Discussion on Changing Scenario of Events

New Delhi: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising invited people from Industry to discuss the changing scenario of events in India.

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort. Some people look for a beautiful place. Others make a place beautiful and that is the job of people who belong to this segment of business called Events,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Chamber and Marwah Studios.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, not the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change. Time has come when we have to peep into other boxes what can bring back excitement to life. Without events we are a gloomy society,” added Dr. Marwah and initiated the discussion.

“Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away. We have already started our events on web and response is fantastic. No doubt that events are the part & parcel of media and entertainment industry and it has accrued loss of billions of rupees in last 100 days,” said Dr. Sanjeev Layek Executive Secretary of WASME.

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” Dr. George V. Antony read the quote of James Dean. He expressed how events associated with management ans education have changed the shape and attracting required crowd for the same.

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do, that’s what I am doing by performing for the camera ad I know its reaching people through social media. I have just finished few shows last week,” said Jaya Pridarshini renowned Classical Dancer.

“It was a difficult stage for all of us as we need live audience to perform classical dance. Even young dancers who were learning from me now have to use web for training. We have lost fun in performing and missing on the appreciation from the live audience,” said Anu Sinha Kathak exponent.

Hriju Shah renowned music director, Acharya Mukesh Sharma a yoga expert, Film director Raju Prasekar also spoke on the subject in detail. Chetan Joshi is a noted flautist in the Hindustani classical music tradition expressed his views and won the hearts of the participants when he played the flute on the web.

ICMEI And NAI Appreciated Police Role In Lockdown

New Delhi: “While the national lockdown has largely left the public confined to their houses, the police are literally on the ground to enforce the prohibitory order. Even during lockdown, they carry out a range of duties ranging from instructing people to maintain physical distancing in markets to taking action against those flouting prohibitory order. They have done a commendable work during this period,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI in a webinar organized to talk out role of police in lockdown by NAI and ICMEI.

“To keep1.2 billion people indoors for weeks on end is an unenviable task. But when India went under a lockdown on 25 March, that’s what the Indian police were charged with,” expressed Ajay Kumar Pandey Inspector General Police Law & Order State of Punjab.

“As expected, there was some degree of force and violence: the police are no stranger to deploying batons on suspected law-breakers. But it also birthed some surprisingly creative means of enforcement from personnel across the country,” added Raghavendra H Auradkar IPS former Director General of Police and Commissioner of Police Bangalore.

The duty calls of the police to be in public places also make them a category vulnerable to the risks of COVID-19. Taking the stress level of the force caused by these factors into account, Ajay Kumar Pandey appealed the police force not to lose self-control and not to react to the rough behavior during lockdown duty.

“Other main instructions Police officers gave to the force included importance of maintaining personal hygiene, disinfecting of station premises, vehicles and residences and adherence of lockdown restrictions by their family members,” said Dr. Vipin Gaur Secretary General of Newspapers Association of India.

“ I learned that Station house officers of police stations were asked to ensure that senior members and those having health problems are given station duty, which was a very humble orders,” said Vikas Sharma Chief Executive of Centre for Strategy and Leadership

Lauding the force for the best practices emulated in so far during lockdown in the city, Raj K.P.Sinha National Commissioner of India Scouts/Guides Organization said “there is no room left for complaints from people during lockdown periods”.

ICMEI Celebrated National Day of Slovenia

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with ISFCF- Indo Slovenia Film And Cultural Forum celebrated the National Day of Slovenia falls on 25th June on Web as no event could be organized owing to the pandemic Corona Virus.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Dr. Marjan Cencen Ambassador of Slovenia to India and the people of Slovenia on the National Day of Slovenia. India and Slovenia have an excellent relation.  The visit of our President Shri Ram Nath Kovind to Slovenia last year enhanced the relationship to new level. we are keen to deepen this people-to-people contact  through cultural exchanges,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for ISFCF.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has allotted a special space in Radio Noida and MSTV for Indo Slovenian relations. “The two mediums will high light and propagate our relations with Slovenia. We will soon start broadcasting Slovenian programs,” added Dr. Marwah.
