Indo Myanmar Cultural Forum Formed at ICMEI

Noida: The visit of H.E. Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar to India brought new energy to the international campus of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios when a new committee on Myanmar under the name and banner of Indo Myanmar Film And Cultural Forum was declared open.

“We have achieved a new target by opening a new committee on Myanmar. Not many people are aware of Myanmar and its beauty. We are neighbors to India and want to do a lot of business between the two countries including cinema and tourism,” said H.E. Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar to India.

“It is not only necessary but essential to develop contact between people to people of two countries. ICMEI will support both the governments to fulfill their desire of building up bigger and better relation and cooperation,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

A poster was launched on the occasion to mark the opening of the forum. H.E. Moe Kyaw Aung Ambassador of Myanmar nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the   Chair for Indo Myanmar Film And Cultural Forum. In return Dr. Marwah presented the Patronship to the Ambassador. The launching will be followed by the formal event of signing of MOU by Embassy of Myanmar and ICMEI informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

Convocation of ASMS School of Journalism at Marwah Studios

New Delhi: Convocation of department of Mass Communication And Journalism ASMS- Asian School of Media Studies was held at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City.

More than 125 students belonging to Graduation and post Graduation in the field of Mass Communication And Journalism and PR Events & Advertising received their prestigious degree from the renowned film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University.

“The success of the student lying in his presentation backed and supported by his education and training, Knowledge and its application is the key factor in placement. I am pleased to note that most of the students have already managed to get their first job,” said Dr. Marwah while giving his convocation address.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated For Core Committee in CEGR

Nee Delhi: With the formation of new Managing committee for the calendar year 2020 of CEGR- Centre For Education Growth And Research renowned educationist and Chancellor of AAFT University Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Senior Vice President of the organization.

The current President of CEGR- Prof. A.P. Mittal Member Secretary AICTE announced the name of forthcoming President Sanjeev Goswami now the Managing Director of Springer Nature and Dr. Sandeep Marwah as Senior Vice President of the popular think tank in education of the country.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been in education for now more than 26 years and has been rated many times as one of the best educationist in the World. He has trained more than 19000 students from 145 countries of the World. Dr. Marwah has been a case study in many well known international institutions.

Fame India Best Twenty Five MP Announced for 2020

New Delhi: A total of 543 MPs have won the Lok Sabha elections held in the country in the past. The Fame India-Asia Post Survey jointly conducted a survey and selected 25 best MPs of the 17th Lok Sabha. These MPs have been selected keeping many things in mind.

U.S. Sonthalia of Fame India tells that Fame India and Asia Post had created 25 categories to select the best MPs so that they can show how much loyalty they have towards the responsibility given by the public. ICMEI Join Hands With UROOJ E KASHMIR

Portrait of Sandeep Marwah Was Attraction In Polish Exhibition

Warsaw: An exhibition of portraits clicked by renowned polish photographer Henryk Pietkiewicz displayed at Wybzeze Art Gallery at Gdansk created a huge attraction for picture lovers and professional cameramen.

The exhibition shows portraits of people from Polish cinematography and icons of Polish culture. The artist Henryk Pietkiewicz presents the characters captured in his close-up style focused on emotions. We can see portraits of Roman Polanski, Andrzej Wajda,  Agnieszka Holland, Krzyszof Zanussi, Maja Komorowska, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Jan Englert, Agata Buzek, Jerzy Stuhr, Janusz Gajos and the special attraction was the portrait of seven World Record Holder in media Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios of India.

“I am thrilled and humbled to find my portrait in the exhibition in Gdansk Poland-“Legends of The World” by renowned Polish Photographer Henryk Pietkiewicz. In Wybrzeze Gallery at Gdansk when Indian staying in Gdansk start sending me the pictures of art gallery on my mobile,” said Sandeep Marwah full of excitement.

Sandeep Marwah is the first Indian to be in the international jury of Gdansk film festival and first Indian to be honored in Poland with ‘Gate Of Freedom Award’ for his contribution to promotion of International Cinema.

Workshop by Hungarian Film Maker Balázs Varga at AAFT

Noida: A powerful workshop by a well-known film maker and educationist Dr. Balazs Vargawas conducted at Asian Academy of Film And Television organized by Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum in association with Hungarian Information And Culttural Centre of Embassy of Hungary in India

A box office hit musical comedy Dollybirds/Csinibaba directed by Peter Timar made in 1997 was screened during workshop, which is about the early 1960s. The film is a cult classic of post-socialist nostalgia, depicting Eastern European’s longing for different living and for (imaginary, Western) worlds that were never existed.

Balázs Varga is an Assistant Professor of Film Studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. He writes and lectures on modern and contemporary Hungarian cinema, contemporary European cinema, production studies, popular cinemas and documentaries.

Balazs Varga is a founding editor of Metropolis, a scholarly journal on film theory and history based in Budapest. His recent research project has examined the post-communist transition of the Hungarian film industry. His current project focuses on popular East European cinemas. He has published several articles and essays in English, Italian, Polish, Czech and Hungarian books and journals.

The film maker answered many questions asked by the film and media students. The Cultural counselor and Director of HICC Pal Bodogh Szabe extended his cooperation for all time to come.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored and presented Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the dignities from Hungary.

26th Annual AAFT-ASMS Alumni Meet Announced

New Delhi; The26th Annual Alumni Meet has been announced on 21st December at the AAFT premises at Marwah Studios Film City Noida informed Haripriya Director Events.

“This is going to be the 26th Annual meet. AAFT started in 1993 when only 40 students were enrolled in four courses and the first alumni meet took place in 1994 with the students of short term courses from four batches,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“In 2003 we started graduation and post graduation programs under Asian School of Media Studies and added many new courses to short term. Today we are proud to announce that AAFT is now the University of Media And Arts,” added Dr. Marwah.

“We are looking forward for a beautiful get together on 21st December that will give a powerful opportunity to students for a very strong networking,” added Amir Abdullah Director School of Cinema.

All former students are invited to join the get together from the school of Cinema, School of Fashion and Design, School of Animation, School of Performing Arts, Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, School of Mass Communication and Journalism, School of PR Events and Advertising, School of Photography and AAFT Short Term Courses.

Sandeep Marwah Released New Edition Of Magazine Talaash

New Delhi: A new edition of well-established Life Style Magazine, under the name and banner of Talaash, was released by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at a grand function at Bikaner House open theatre.

“It is very important to be over cautious while publishing a magazine in this environment when every thing is available on Internet. You have to be exclusive and different from rest of the World of entertainment. I congratulate the editor and publisher for having courage and to maintain exclusivity,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking promoters for inviting him for the good purpose.

Some prominent persons like North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Avtar Singh, Fashion Designer Rosy Ahluwalia, Art Promoter Smita Srivastava, Senior IPS officer Robin Hibu, Editor Rajni Panwar were also present there.

A colorful article on Sandeep Marwah was also this time part of the magazine. The release was followed by felicitation ceremony, a fashion show by Rosy Ahluwalia and dances by group from North East of India.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated Group Show at My Art Galleries

New Delhi: A group show of paintings by renowned artists was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at newly opened art gallery-My Art Galleries under the title Magnum Opus.

“The display of paintings by well-known senior artists has added a lot to the positioning of art gallery in west Delhi. The art center must also give opportunities to young and talented artists,” said Sandeep Marwah while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I have been in art promotion for now thirty five years and realized that it is only art and culture which can bring love, peace and unity in the country. Promotion of all fine arts and performing arts is necessary at all corners of the World,” added Marwah.

Paintings by Bimal Das, Archana Das, Rajesh Sharma, Mange Ram Sharma, Inder Singh Oodaru, Vijay Kumar Wahal, Devi Das Khatri, Sudha R Sama, Mahmood Ahmed, Anand Singh, Sunita Lamba, Mamoon Nomani and Ved Prakash Bakhru were displayed in the show. Dimple Sharma and Sikandar Jangra curated the art show.
