ICMEI And Alugha Will Work Together For Film Promotion

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry join hands with Alugha A German company to promote short films world wide in different languages.

A meeting took place at the Chamber headquarters and a session was organized for the young enthusiastic filmmakers & cinema students who are looking for more exposure for their short films.

“Making a video multilingual can be complicated, expensive and might cause quite a bit of headache. If many contributors are involved it can quickly get confusing. Alugha has come with new technics its all time worth it,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber.

“The dubbr is providing a consistent workspace with all the tools to keep transcribing, translating and dubbing as simple as possible. Everything in one single tool, based in the cloud, available world-wide. And the best thing: The dubbr is accesable through all alugha-accounts,” said Bernd T. Korz CEO of Alugha.

Alugha specializes in easily transforming any online video to multilingual. They host thousands of videos from educational to entertainment. After 2 years of developing, the Alugha GmbH has been founded in April 2014 in Mannheim / Germany. The Co-Founder, Bernd Korz, had the initial idea of alugha and improved it consequently.

Young Niklas Korz has done the technical development of the prototype. Currently there is a team of 30 people working on the technical development of the software, as well as the design, sales and services. ICMEI Join Hands With National Film Commission of Bhutan

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry join hands with NFCB- National Film Commission of Bhutan, Ministry of Information and Communications, Royal Government of Bhutan.

The visit of Karma Tshering, Chairman of newly formed National Film Commission of Bhutan in the Ministry of Information and Communications, Royal Government Of Bhutan, brought many points of discussion on the table for the promotion of relations between two countries India and Bhutan, and especially development of cinema in Bhutan.

Recently Indo Bhutan Film And Cultural Forum has also been formed at ICMEI under the Chairmanship of Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios to have cordial and strong relations with Bhutan through films, television, media, art and culture.

Karma Tshering is one of Bhutan’s first trained filmmakers and produced Bhutan’s first commercial film titled “Jigdrel” in 1998. He founded Bhutan’s first and only women’s magazine “Yeewong” and “Miss Bhutan Pageant” in 2008 to create a platform for young Bhutanese women. He has been successfully managed to set the first Guinness World Record for Bhutan in Tree Plantation in 2015 where 100 Bhutanese men planted 49,672 trees in 1 hour setting a new world record on 2nd June 2015.

AAFT Alumnus Karma Tshering Currently serves as the President of the “Film Association of Bhutan” and Chairman of the “National Film Commission of Bhutan”. Later Chancellor Dr. Marwah honored Karma with life membership of International Film And Television Research Centre of AAFT University.

Save Water Save Rivers Spoke Sandeep Marwah at Khaitan School

Noida: “Time has come when all of us have be over cautious about environment. Enough has been written and spoken now it is time to get into practice to save environment,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI and Global Green Ambassador at a function at The Khaitan School, Noida inaugurating the Save Yamuna campaign.

“The pollution may be categorized into Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Soil/Land Pollution, Noise Pollution, Radioactive Pollution and Thermal Pollution. All are harmful, but we have to see where an individual can help in serving the humanity by controlling pollution.,” added Dr. Marwah.

“We have already sensitize more than hundred thousand students in different schools of Delhi, NCR and other states by way of seminars, workshops, painting competitions, Essay competitions, entertainment programs and   also by appointing Young Green Ambassadors,” expressed Dr. Marwah,”.

Dr. K.D. Gupta Chairman Environment And Climate Committee of ICMEI, Mrs S. L. Gupta Education advisor of The Khaitan School, S. C Aggarwal CMD SMC Global Securities Ltd and Principal Harinder Kaur also spoke on the subject. Students participated in the event whole-heartedly. Numerous awards were also distributed to the students who worked for the cause.

Later Sandeep Marwah was honored for his untiring contribution to Environment Protection and creating large number of committees in every organization he is associated with.

ICMEI Join Hands With Mini Movie Festival At Kochi

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT University joined hands with up coming Mini Movie Festival at Kochi in south India.

ICMEI is there to support all those events, which promote films, television, media, art and culture. A project initiated by renowned director Priyadarshan also needs awareness in North of India. ICMEI will do its best,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

The representative of the festival met Dr. Marwah and explained about this new concept in length. After attending a major event in Kochi another extravaganza has been planned to high light the festival in Noida. Sandeep Marwah will attend this event also in the coming weeks.

The festival is designed and promoted by Vishnu Surendernath-CEO, Vipin Varada-CPO and Ananthakrishnan-COO with George V. Anthony as their mentor. Renowned film director Padma Shri S. Priyadarshan is Ex Officio Chairperson.

Women Empowerment Is The Subject Of The Day at 5th GLFN

Noida: “We have always believed that women play a very important part in every segment of life. A discussion on creative approach of Women in today’s challenging world was attended by Anupam Acharya a Motivational Speaker & Author, Pushp Dahya Founder of Gurgaon Helping Hands, Arushi Nishank Classical Dancer & Filmmaker, Suniti Wadhwa Indian Politician, Rajshri Singh IPS, IGP State Crime Branch gave a great food for thought to the entire gathering.

The esteemed dignitaries launched the Poster of “Dream” by Ritu Bhagat and the Book- Kahi Unkahi on this occasion. Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented participation certificates along with festival mementos to twenty-five best working women of the city for their contribution to the society.

5th Global Literary Festival Promotes Poetry Writing

Noida: The day 2 began with a seminar on the significance of Poetry in advancement of Human Rights. Creativity started flowing on the recitation of poetry by professional and non-professional writers. The audience enjoyed to its best.

“If you want to remain in media then three things which you have to keep in mind are that you must read, you must write and you must speak well. Keep on upgrading the level of these three things and you will be considered a better media person and also a better writer,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 5th Global Literary Festival on the first session of second day.

Dr. Amit Kaur Puri Writer, Sajia Shojaei Filmmaker, Deepali Kumbhare Educationist, Deepa Gupta Director G L Bajaj Institute, Indu Anand Educationist, Satya Dev Rai Writer expressed their views and spoke about their works.

The dignities on the stage also launched the Book- ‘Himadrija’ written by Satya Dev Rai. A Book Cover of “Believer The Achiever” authored by Dr. Amit Kaur Puri was also released on this occasion.

5th Global Festival Noida Defines Literature Better

Noida: The first day of 5th Global Literary festival Noida 2019 was more bubbling than the expectation of organizers. The whole day it was all the programs were well attended by people from all over India and abroad.

Shivanand Director Sanskrit Akademi, Prem Bhardwaj,’Gyan Bhiksu’, renowned Poet Rama Singh, Rana Yashwant Managing Editor India News and seasoned Poet Divik Ramesh were the perfect attraction of the day appreciating the great poetic works through poetry recitation.Dignitaries also launched the Book- Aag bhi hai aur Paani bhi written by Sushil Bharti during this event.

Day one also witnessed various interactive sessions and discussions like Harsha Garg talking about non-fiction writing, a discussion on romantic fiction by Ajitabh Bose and Sarika Singh, a literary session on short story writing by Divya Narayan Upadhyaya. Pallavi Prakash sharing insights on non-fiction writing and a literary discussion by Diwakar Goyal were also part of different events in different halls.

Malaysian Cultural Evening At ICMEI Headquarters

Noida: A colorful cultural evening was organized by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with High Commission of Malaysia in India at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

Nineteen member team specially flown from Malaysia performed a non stop entertainment of traditional dances and mesmerized the audience with their well synchronized dances with folk music.

“I have not thanked enough for the hospitality, love and affection I got on my visit to Malaysia early this month, We are again enjoying the traditional dances and music from Malaysia at our own campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum addressing the houseful auditorium at Marwah Studios.

“We are thankful to Dr. Marwah and his team along with the cultural group from the State of Sarawak. This is in continuation to celebrate the Malaysia’s Independence Day which falls on 31 August, also known as Merdeka Day. Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in a short span of time proved its powerful existence. We welcome you all to Malaysia, the real center for tourism,” said H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the High Commissioner and Membership of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum to Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, Sharkawi Bin Haji Amit CEO Sarawak Arts Council Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture Sarawak and complete team from the council. AAFT School of Performing Arts hosted the program.

International Peace Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.

“The United Nations Member States adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 because they understood that it would not be possible to build a peaceful world if steps were not taken to achieve economic and social development for all people everywhere, and ensure that their rights were protected,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Organizations & Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization in a jam packed hall at Marwah Studios

“The Sustainable Goals cover a broad range of issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environment and social justice,” added Dr. Marwah.

A poster was launched to mark respect to International Peace Day by H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India and Nor’ Azam Mohd. Idrus Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. World Peace Development And Research Foundation & Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum supported the event.

An Exhibition of Paintings Inaugurated at 5th GLFN

Noida: “It is a tradition in Marwah Studios, and we always make it a point to start our every major event with the exhibition of paintings and sculptures to promote fine arts within the campus,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah introducing the renowned painter and curater Iqbal Krishan at the inauguration of an exhibition of paintings at 5th Global Literary Festival Noida 2019.

“Fifteen known painters from all over India displayed their paintings during this three days powerful exhibition within the Global Literary festival. I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah for his love for paintings, which attracts painters from all over India to be part of these festivals. He is the real promoter of art,” said Iqbal Krishan.

“Exhibition of paintings makes the literary festival a complete show,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India. “Painting is a self discovery, every painter paints what he is exactly,” added H.E. Cdr. K.L.Ganju Honorary Cosul General of Comoros in India.

“The world always seems brighter when you’ve just made something that wasn’t there before,” expressed H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India. “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time,” said Kamlesh Pandey Bollywood screenwriter while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The exhibition remained open to general public and thousands of people took the advantage of this exhibition during the 5th Global literary festival.
