Noida: H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru to India honored Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios during Indo Peru Culture Program at Noida Film City in the presence of august audience.

“I am pleased to learn that Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been Chair for Indo Peru Cultural Forum from the last 11 years and has been indulged in promoting Indian Peru relations through art and culture. He deserves bigger award,” said H.E. Carlos Polo while handing over the certificate of appreciation to Sandeep Marwah on behalf of Embassy of Peru, Government of Peru.

“I am so thankful to the Ambassador of Peru for this beautiful gesture. It has motivated me to do more and best. We are ready for many new assignments including allotment of time slot on Radio and Television,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the award.

It was a rare occasion of amalgamation of music by Rajasthani group by Gazi Khan Barna and Peruvian music group consisting of Chano Diaz Limaco, Kito Linares Bazalar and Tomás Diaz Limaco.

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University and Embassy of Peru had a great musical evening at Marwah Studios.

It was a rare occasion of amalgamation of music by Rajasthani group by Gazi Khan Barna and Peruvian music group consisting of Chano Diaz Limaco, Kito Linares Bazalar and Tomás Diaz Limaco.

A two hours musical extravaganza not only impressed but mesmerized the audience. “I take this opportunity to thank H.E. Carlos Polo the Ambassador of Peru to India for bringing such a talented artist from Peru. The jugal bandi was too good to express through words,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented the Patron ship of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Carlos Polo.

”I am happy to be here which is also the birthplace of Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum almost 11 years back. I appreciate the deep interest and dedication of the team of Marwah Studios. We promise to work together for the promotion of art and will create more awareness of Indo Peru Culture,” said H.E. Carlos Polo.

Ambassador presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Marwah for his untiring contribution to Indo Peru art promotion. Later the whole team was presented with the life membership of   Film And Television Club of AAFT.

Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, Director AAFT School of Performing Arts Dr. Manoj Agarwak, Director Radio Noida Sushil Bharti, Minister Embassy of Peru Mercedes Gill , Cultural Encharge, Head of the Consular Section and Cultural Attaché Fabio Subia were also present there.

What ‘normal’ people perceive as ugly, I can usually see something of beauty in it,” said Kunal Rawal in his speech to the young and new aspirants of design industry at the inauguration of new session of AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

Youthful and highly acclaimed menswear designer Kunal Rawal got his qualifications from London College of Fashion (LCF) with a specialization in merchandising. He did his cinema course from AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television. He is the youngest designer in history to make a debut at Lakme Fashion Week.

Kunal Rawal launched his label ‘Dstress’ in the year 2006, having his signature designs best described as “cultivated imperfection.” He has also designed outfits for IPL cricket teams Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, which comprised of fashionable active wear for off-field events.

Kunal Rawal’s creations are a favorite amongst Bollywood hunks like Mohit Marwah, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Prateik Babbar, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhay Deol.

The session was followed by question answers by students and later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored Kunal with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. Director Ritulal paid vote of thanks.

Noida: “22^nd July is the opening day of first batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television in 1993. AAFT has completed today 26^th year in film, television and media education and turn out to be one of the ten best film schools of the World,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder and President of AAFT.

“What a pleasure to celebrate 26^th year in education with the team of creative people from Iran. I am thankful to each and every member associated with AAFT ( present and past) who all have contributed to the growth of this institution which has taken a shape of an institution in all these years,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah now Chancellor of AAFT University.

Noida: Renowned media personality and Chancellor of AAFT University flagged off the   most decorated car of Amarjeet Singh to leave the complex of Marwah Studios for the most exclusive journey of Peace.

AAFT University in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development And Research Foundation encouraged and motivated Sardar Amarjeet Singh Chawla to spread the word of Love Peace and Unity through art and culture.

Amarjeet Singh Chawla- The Turban Traveller is Covering 50000 km in 29 states 7 Union Territories of India and 6 Countries. of the World and following the route and footsteps of the Great Spiritual Leader Guru Nanak who took this journey 500 years back.

Amarjeet Singh will touch all the Gurudwaras coming on the way during this journey and leave the message of love Peace and Unity also initiated by spiritual guru Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

“I am gaining with every station I am covering with this “Yatra of Shanti.” People are amazed to hear about this journey, they are supporting me to their best,” said Amarjeet Singh Chawla.

Noida: Excitement spread out in the whole campus of AAFT University when the news of winning by Vidisha Baliyan, a modeling student from AAFT, the international tittle of Miss Deaf World 2019 at competition at South Africa on Friday.

“AAFTian Vidhisha Baliyan, a 21-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh, became the first Indian to win the Miss Deaf World pageant. Baliyan was chosen the winner among 11 finalists from 16 participating countries in the final. The South African contestant was the runner-up. The Miss and Mister Deaf World pageant was first organized in 2001,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University.

Originally from Muzaffarnagar in UP Baliyan’s family currently lives in Ghaziabad. She trained for the pageant in Gurgaon and Noida. She is also a former international tennis player and has represented India in the Deaflympics. She participated in the beauty pageant after a severe back injury.

“I was inspired to participate in the pageant to gain confidence and develop my personality from AAFT. Through this platform I also want to motivate the deaf community to focus on the talent they have, and not be upset about what they don’t have,” she said.

“We are proud of our team of trainers who all have putin their best to see the results. India is proud of AAFTian Vidisha Baliyan,” rxpressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

New Delhi: The sports field of The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj was resplendent with glory as it hosted a friendly soccer match between GURULAC (Group of Latin American and the Caribbean Countries) versus rest of the World. The unfurling of the Flags of participating countries gave vivid hues to the horizon of The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj premises.

The Soccer match was organized by Fauzia of Cultural GURULAC India in association with AAFT University, International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios.

The event started at an auspicious note with presentation of a “Ganesh Stuti” by the School Alumni followed by the display of cultural diversity through a conglomeration of varied dance styles presented by the Students of an NGO “ Sarvam”.

With head held high and a confident smile on their face, the two teams marched into the ground and shook hands with each other. The match commenced soon after the “ National Anthem”.

The match was played in “Friendly Spirit of the Game” and winning and losing was not relevant to the objective behind the event. It certainly generated goodwill among the participating nations.

Noida: IVFCF- Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized a powerful workshop and roadshow on the tourism of Vietnam recently at Marwah Studios.

“The Republic of India and the Socialistic Republic of Vietnam enjoy strong bilateral relations. Cultural and economic links between India and Vietnam date back to 2^nd century. In contemporary era, relations between India and Vietnam have been governed by several areas of shared political interests,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and initiated the program.

Speaking at the event, H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India and Patron to Indo Vietnam Cultural Forum recalled the long-standing history and cultural ties between Vietnam and India, including Buddhism and yoga.

He highlighted that Indian airline IndiGo recently launched Kolkata – Hanoi direct air service and is preparing for the launch of New Delhi – Ho Chi Minh City route. Vietnam has also offered e-visas at border gates, thus simplifying procedures for Indian travellers to Vietnam.

Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the STIC Travel Group of Companies, lauded Vietnam as one of the world’s most beautiful countries and one of the top five emerging destinations with special cuisine and culture, vibrant business and hospitable people. He said the potential of tourism links between the two nations remains huge

The event was co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in India, AAFT University and Aurantiaco an event management company. Nguyen Le Thanh Deputy Chief of the Mission, Pham Tri Dung First Secretary Economic Section, Ho Thi Van First Secretary Head of the information and media section and Pruthi Ranjan of Victoria Tours were also present there.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum honored the dignities with membership of the forum. Large number of travel agents, tour operators, travel and tourism schools and travel journalists attended the road show.
