Greater Paris received 36.5 million visitors in 2016, measured by hotel stays. The largest numbers of foreign tourists in 2015, measured by airport arrivals, came from the United States (1.8 million), the UK (1.08 million), Germany (725,000), Italy (622,000), and Spain (609,000)

The city’s top tourist attraction was the Notre Dame Cathedral, which welcomed 12million visitors in 2016 The Louvre museum had 7.3 million visitors in 2016, making it the second most visited art museum in the world.

As of 2013 the City of Paris had 1,570 hotels with 70,034 rooms, of which 55 were rated five-star, mostly belonging to international chains and mostly located close to the centre and the Champs-Élysées. Paris has long been famous for its grand hotels.

AAFT school of Cinema Bridged the Gap Between Education And Industry

World Population Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

Noida: An impressive poster was released by Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

The World Population Day falls on every 11th July. World Population Day, which seeks to focus attention on the urgency and importance of population issues, was established by the then-Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989, an outgrowth of the interest generated by the Day of Five Billion, which was observed on 11 July 1987

“Access to safe, voluntary family planning is a human right. It is also central to gender equality and women’s empowerment, and is a key factor in reducing poverty,” said Sandeep Marwah addressing the media persons at Noida Film City.

Investments in making family planning available also yields economic and other gains that can propel development forward is Marwah’s idea. The day is celebrated in more than 90 countries of the World.

AAFT School of Fashion And Design Open 2017 Session

Noida: AAFT School of Fashion And Design opened its new session of 2017 at Marwah Studios at film city Noida. Like every time students from all over India joined the prestigious college for carving their bright future.

Feature Film Raag Desh Stole The Hearts of Indians

New Delhi: A special show for the President of India Shri Pranab Mukerjee, a personal blessings by the Vice President of India Shri Hameed Ansari and appreciation by many member of parliaments added a lot to the screening of feature film Raag Desh at the president house.

“First time in 100 years of Indian Cinema, a film trailer has been launched in the Parliament. Rajya Sabha and its TV have produced first time a full-length commercial feature film. A history has been created. This is the first film, which claims that actual characters have been shown here, and nothing is false here,” said Gurdeep Singh Sappal producer of the film at a grand function to celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas at Marwah Studios.

“Film is talking about patriotism and that is the agenda of our prime minister too. Every Indian must realize the pain our people went through at the time of Independence. The role of INA-Indian National Army created by Neta Subhash Chander Bose is enough to keep in the books of history,” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios welcoming the cast and crew of Film Raag Desh.

Mohit Marwah narrated his role of Col. P.K.Sehgal in the film and said,” we must value of role of Indian Forces be it Air Force, Army or Navy. Our nation celebrates everyday at the risk of life of our forces at borders. The film has brought transformation within all the members of our film unit”.

Kunal Kapoor playing Col. Bakshi expressed his deep involvement with the role, the research work that has been done by the director and actors before the film. Mohit and Kunal also spoke their dialogues.

Mrudula Murali, Amrita Rai also spoke on the occasion. Amit Sadh and Tigmanshu Dhulia were busy with their other commitments of the film. The cast of the film charged the audience with the patriotic feelings and the jam packed hall shouted many times the slogans of Jai Hind, Inkalab Zindabad and Vande Matram.

Convocation of Trainees of 95th Batch of AAFT

Noida: More than 100 students accepted their prestigious diploma on the 95th Convocation of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City in a program organized by Marwah Studios in association with Indian Skills Development Council.

“We are now associated with Indian Skills Development Council and ISDC has approved all our courses of short term which are only meant for skill development. I am proud of my students who all have learned so well that they will not have any problem in being adopted by the industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

Students of AAFT are the best,” added Harsh Vardhan former chief engineer Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Not only that they are large but latest too,” said Roderick D Harding. “ I had the opportunity to work with the students of this institution, I can watch for the quality education in this film school,” said Shajia Shojaei a filmmaker from Afghanistan.

New Delhi: A delegation comprising of members from ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and GCTC- Global Counter Terrorism Council visited the former Information and broadcasting Minister, Government of India.

Noida: The team of Feature film Munna Michael along with Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal visited Marwah Studios to promote their film. Asian Academy of Film And Television organized the event.

I wish I could join AAFT earlier,” said Tiger Shroff known for his films like Heropanti, Baaghi and A Flying Jatt.
