Sandeep Marwah recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award, is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Academy of Film and Television and 100 more Film, TV, Media, Art & Culture, Tourism, Educational, social organizations. He is the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts. He has been the National Chairman for M&E Committee of BIS in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, on the Board of AICTE, Ministry of Education, on the Board of MESC Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. Sandeep Marwah is one of the most well recognized face of India abroad.

Noida: The Executive Council of Asian Alumni Association consisting of former students of Asian Academy of Film and Television together with Asian School of Media Studies met the President Dr. Sandeep Marwah for the new proposals for the year.

It has been decided to have Alumni Meet on 18^th of March 2023 at the premises of Marwah Studios and number of suggestions were made to make it a very vibrant, entertaining and colorful meeting followed by awards and Dinner.

“It is now almost 30 years we are in education and AAFT & ASMS have a very strong alumni association. I am proud of my students who all are doing very well in their chosen fields and spread out all over the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while talking to former students. “I would like to appreciate all the effort that is done by you all for the development of our society and thank you for justifying the years spent by you at this institution. Last but not least, I would like everyone to participate on 18^th March. Hope you all will like the arrangement made for your reunion,” added Marwah

Large number of people must know about India and Irish relations through this great lady Margaret Cousins.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on the screening of Documentary on Irish suffragist and social leader Margaret Cousins and her life in India at the residence of H.E. Brendan. Ward Ambassador of Ireland to India.

“We must have another show at Marwah Studios so that young generation can relate the relation between two countries and contribution of Irish lady in Indian History,” added Dr. Marwah also Chair for Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum.

Margaret Elizabeth Cousins 7 November 1878 – 11 March 1954) was an Irish-Indian educationist, suffragist and theosophist who established All India Women’s Conference (AIWC) in 1927. She was the wife of poet and literary critic James Cousins,  with whom she moved to India in 1915. She is credited with preserving the tune of the Indian National Anthem Jana Gana Mana  based on the notes provided by Tagore himself in February 1919, during Rabindranath Tagore’s visit to the Madanapalle College. She was a member of the Flag Presentation Committee which presented the National Flag to the Constituent Assembly  on 14 August 1947.

Noida: H.E. Choe Hui Choi Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India has been presented with Patronship of newly formed Indo DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum on the very first day of 11^th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023 in a grand function at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“We are more than happy to have H.E. Choe Hui Choi Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India as our patron to Indo DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum. He is the best person to guide us and lead us in developing and promoting relations between India and Korea. We can grow much faster under his leadership,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

First time Indo DPRKorea Film and Cultural Forum has been formed. I will support you to my best. Together we can achieve higher targets,” said H.E. Choe Hui Choi Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India while accepting the memento of the festival and patronship of the cultural forum. The ceremony was attended by members of media fraternity and film, TV & Media students from different institutions from India and abroad. Noida: 11^th Global Festival of    Journalism Noida 2023 is the best occasion to announce the launching of Indo Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Film and Cultural Form and the name of the Chair of Indo DPR Film and Cultural Forum as we are surrounded by like-minded people from so many different countries of the World at the same time,” said H.E. Choe Hui Chol Ambassador of DPR Korea to India while releasing the poster of the forum.

The forum is created to have best of the relations between the people of India and Korea through art and culture. Different kinds of events can be planned to bring the strengths of both the countries on the table. People must learn the art and culture of both the countries,” added Ambassador Choe Hui Chol

Relations between India and DPR Korea have been generally characterised by friendship, cooperation and understanding. As members of the Non-Aligned Movement, there is a commonality of views between the two on many international issues, e.g. Disarmament, South-South Cooperation, etc. Both sides continue to work closely in international fora and support each other on various issues of bilateral and international interests. Paris: “I am thankful to the organization for nominating me as International Advisor to International Youth Fellowship originally based in South Korea. My two visits to Seoul and Busan earlier added to the strength of our relations between India and South Korea. We have created together Indo South Korea Film and Cultural Forum also to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries,” informed Sandeep Marwah to the delegates from IYF in Paris during his visit to France at Hotel Intercontinental Le Grand, Rue de Scribe, Paris.

Together some youth activities can be planned with the students of AAFT whenever they are planning to come to Paris, suggested Yongha Hwang, Director International Youth Fellowship Paris.” We are busy here with different colleges and universities and promoting peace activities all-round the year,” he added. He was accompanied by delegates Oliva and Sinae.

Sandeep Marwah also briefed the delegation about Indo French Business and Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and his relations with France through many cultural associations.

Paris: We are pleased to join hands with EM Normandie Business School right here in the Paris. I am sure both AAFT University and Normandie Business School will take best advantages of each other’s specializations. The idea is to enhance the level of education and learn what extra efforts other schools are adding to make education international,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President AAFT University talking to the faculty at school at Paris.

“I am impressed by the new infrastructure and state of art teaching aids being used here for quick understanding of the subject. I am sure students from AAFT would like to be a part of activities at Normandie and vice versa,” added Marwah.

Laurence Mariet Sanchez and Juliet Montuelle, the International Admission Managers of EM Normandie interacted with Dr. Sandeep Marwah and discussed many aspects of joint programs possible between the two institutions. Dr. Marwah invited faculty from Paris to visit AAFT University and decided on students exchange program. He also explained the authorities about Indo French Business and Cultural Forum which he is Chairing in India.

Noida:  The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera. Photography is by nature a documentary art. On the occasion of 11th Global festival of Journalism Noida 2023, a photography exhibition titled “Phototatv” was presented by the students of School of Still Photography of Asian Academy of Film and Television & International Journalism Centre.

“I have always believed that still photography is the base of many creative arts. It enhances the aesthetic sense and guides you to think systematically. We made it a point to have a subject Still Photography in every creative course including Cinema, Journalism, Fashion, Animation, Tourism etc. Now I can proudly say that we have a separate school  under  AAFT School of Still Photography which has picked up very well,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios while lighting the ceremonial lamp in the new wing of Marwah Studios.

The dignitaries present there appreciated the work which was presented under  theme Guerrilla warfare in Kashmir, Massive Fire in Chandni Chowk, Loneliness, Crowd etc. A coffee table book consisting of these pictures were suggested by the guests.
