New Delhi: “ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry is the only chamber of its kind in whole of the World. We have so far opened 162 international committees and 80 national committees with contact office in 100 countries. More than 15000 members are directly connected to it now” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber on the second day of Edutainment Exhibition at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi.

“The purpose of the Chamber is to bring the whole world close to each other through art and culture including films, television & media” added Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

“New Delhi: It was a great pleasure to be part of Indian Council of Impex for Films And TV Programmers at pragati maidan during the opening of their stall at the first Global Exhibition on services” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Inaugurating the first Global Exhibition on Services in New Delhi, the honourable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi added that India should assess its ‘service’ capabilities in the global perspective.

“Our members export films to more than 70 countries in the world” informed Nandkumar Bele Secretary General. Due to popularity of Indian films the market is growing day by day. By virtue of being apex body of the Indian film exporters it has the authority from the Govt. of India to screen and seal films exported in video formats and also to sign the drawback claim certificates. “Our Association registers the rights of the films of our members for the overseas territories” added Dinesh Verma.

Sandeep Marwah honored His Holiness Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj with the life membership of World Peace And Development And Research Foundation on his 60th Birthday today at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium where thousands of people were gathered to congratulate him.

“I am more than happy to be part of World Peace Development And Research Foundation. I thank the organization to make me part of the World Peace Programme” said Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj very humbly accepting the membership. Chandrakant Patil Kharare Secretary WPDRF thanked His Holiness Sudhanshu Ji.

On this occasion a cheque of Rs. 11, 00, 000/- was handed over to Shri Prakash Javedekar-Union Environment Minister for Prime Minister’s relief fund. An ambitious scheme called Devdoot Balkalyan Maha-Abhiyan was also dedicated to the nation.

New Delhi: Ramjas Public Day boarding at the Kamani Auditorium organized a magnificent Silver Jubilee Year Celebration Function, aptly titled ‘Pratibimb’, on Thursday, 30th April 2015. The function was held to commemorate the completion of 24 glorious years of the institution and to usher the school into its 25th year. Ms Salma Ansari, spouse of the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Sandeep Marwah, eminent TV and media personality and five times World Record Holder in Media was the Guest of Honour.

The function commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to invoke divine blessings for the successful accomplishment of the programme. Thereafter, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour were accorded a formal welcome with mementoes, bouquets and shawls presented to them by Hony. Sec. Managing Committee Ramjas Foundation, G S Moondhera, School Chairman, Atul Gupta, Vice Chairman School Managing Committee, Raj Kumar, School Manager, K N Bansal and School Principal, Sarika Arora.

All the staff members who had been with the school since its inception were felicitated at the event for their invaluable service to the school. A Silver Jubilee Calendar and a Newsletter were released to mark this occasion.

Noida Film City: An exhibition of Polish Film posters under the banner “Films of Krzysztof Kieslowski in World Film Posters” was inaugurated by Przemyslaw Isa Grabowski, Deputy Director of Polish Institute & Counselor at Polish Embassy in India and Ms. Aneta Święcicka, Visual Arts, Design and Theatre Programmer from the Polish Institute at Marwah Studios Complex.

Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah said that we have been closely associated with Polish Films as he was honored at Gdansk Film Festival for his five World Records and later invited to be on the International jury. He also apprised the students that Polish Films form a part of the curriculum of the students”.

The Newsletter is the consolidation of works during the quarter, I appreciate this gesture” added Dr. Dinesh Chief Executive National Cooperative Union of India, “I am impressed by the quantum of work ICMEI has generated for itself in just one quarter can be seen only here in this quarterly” said Ambassador Shashank former Foreign Secretary, Government of India.

ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry is taking this responsibility to train manpower in this field under media & entertainment Committee of ICMEI,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

A body has been constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Dinesh Sharma to develop and promote skilled labor in the field of tourism, film, Television and media industry. The Skill Development Council will also certify the level of media education and setup of media institutes in India.
