Radio Noida Conducted National Seminar on Radio

New Delhi: The management of Radio Noida 107.4 Mhz conducted a round table conference on the subject ‘Rising Importance of Radio’ on 9th August 2022 at Marwah Studios Noida Film City. Large number of prominent people from all strata of life attended the same.

“The purpose of the round table conference is to create more awareness about the community radio stations and their application in relation to the people of community,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Radio Noida. “It is a matter of great pride for all of us that Radio Noida 107.4Mhz has been nominated and declared as one of the best radio stations of the country,” added Dr. Marwah.

“The conference covered many different segments related to Radio Station and Radio Programming including modalities to run a radio station, the software for the radio, government’s involvement and benefits of community radio, the range for the stations, Promotion of Indian art and culture, involvement of students and people from the society, etc.

Dr. Yogendra Narayan Chancellor and former Secretary General Rajya Sabha Government of India, Emile Mwepesi Deputy Head of the Mission Embassy of Rwanda, Maj. Gen. Rajan Kochar Vice Chairman National Council of News and Broadcasting and Neha Yadav from Bureau of Indian Standards Ministry of Consumer Affairs Govt. of India initiated the discussions on community Radio Stations.

Wg. Cdr. Praful Bakshi, Col. Tyagvir Raghava, Kumar Rakesh Senior Journalist, Dr. Jyoti Srivastava Indian Classical Dancer, Rajni Rao Indian Classical Dancer, Rochika Agarwal Censor Board of Film Certification Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, RJ Naved of Mirchi Radio, Laxmi Bajpai former Deputy Director General Radio AIR Min. of I&B and R.K.Singh former Chief Engineer Doordarshan Ministry of I&B also expressed their views in detail.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, World Peace Development and Research Foundation, Asian Unity Alliance, Radio Raipur, and Radio Mumbai. Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting Marwah Studios conducted the program. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented memento of the conference to all the dignities present on the occasion.

Raksha Bandhan Promotes Indian Culture-Sandeep Marwah

Noida: Raksha Bandhan pays tribute to the brother-sister bond. It is a traditional Indian customs and part of our culture. We all must preserve our culture as every festival has been designed by our ancestors to bring in love , compassion, unity and oneness in our community,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on the arrival of sisters from Brahma Kumaris on the occasion of Rakhsha Bandhan.

Raksha Bandhan is a festival in which sisters tie Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers with love and affection. This is a sacred thread that indicates that sisters pray and wish that their brothers are protected from all problems and brothers take the oath of protecting their sisters from any trouble in life.

“These festivals bring lots of enthusiasm in our life. These festive days are wonderful breaks in our routine and tense life. They also give you opportunities to get close to your own family,” added Marwah also Patron to Brahma Kumaris.

The Brahma Kumaris are a spiritual movement that originated in Hyderabad, Sindh, during the 1930s. The Brahma Kumaris movement was founded by Lekhraj Kripalani. The organisation is known for the prominent role that women play in the movement

112th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Inaugurated

Noida: That’s the beauty of short films; their strength lies in delivering a message creatively and simply. Short films are the representation of your passion, your education and training, your aesthetic sense and power to tell story,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film and Television on the inauguration of 112th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida in house full auditorium.

“Let me congratulate the whole team of AAFT for conducting this beautiful festival and breaking our own international record of presenting 112th edition of festival this time. This is the only festival in the World which has touched 112th edition and showcasing debut films of the directors,” added Dr. Marwah anxiously waiting for the screening of films.

“It is age of short films. You can deliver the message in just few minutes. It is my privilege to get associated with this festival and AAFT. I am also thankful to Sandeep Marwah for releasing my book ‘Empowering You Beyond Birthing’ which is my second creation. I would love to come back and be a part of AAFT School of Health and Management and interact with the students. My heartiest congratulations to young film makers for an excellent presentation,” said Mahima Bakshi a well-known Maternity Coach and activist.

Film Maker Sadaf Rizvi appreciated the vision of AAFT and the hard work of faculty who have trained these film makers so well that they have been able to deliver a film in such a short period of time. She offered to share her vast knowledge with students in coming batches.

Jitendra Parashar President Mascot & Mentor Film Federation of India, Augustus Lightwriter renowned International Photographer and Alumnus of AAFT, Yogesh Mishra Dean AAFT and Arijit Paul Director School of Cinema also spoke on the occasion.

Sandeep Marwah President CEGR Talked about Higher Education

New Delhi: Higher Education sector has witnessed a tremendous increase in the number of Universities/University level Institutions & Colleges since Independence. The number of Universities has increased 50 times from 20 in 1950 to 1050 in 2021,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research & Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts while addressing the press at 4th National Education Excellence Conclave at IIC. He is also on the board of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The sector boasts of 54 Central Universities, 416 State Universities, 361 State Private universities, 129 Deemed to be Universities, 159 Institutions of National Importance (established under Acts of Parliament) under MoE. The number of colleges has also registered manifold increase of 100 times with just 500 in 1950 growing to 52627, as on 31st March, 2021

The quantum growth in the Higher Education sector is spear-headed by Universities, which are the highest seats of learning. Approximately 8 million students are in higher education.

In India, “University” means a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, a Provincial Act or a State Act and includes any such institution as may, in consultation with the University concerned, be recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in accordance with the regulations made in this regard under the UGC Act, 1956. Every year, millions of students from within the country and abroad, enter these portals mainly for their graduate, post graduate studies while millions leave these portals for the world outside.

Higher Education is the shared responsibility of both the Centre and the States. The coordination and determination of standards in Universities & Colleges is entrusted to the UGC and other statutory regulatory bodies.

The Central Government provides grants to the UGC and establishes Central Universities/Institutions of National Importance in the country. The Central Government is also responsible for declaring an educational institution as “Deemed-to-be University” on the recommendations of the UGC.

At present, the main categories of University/University-level Institutions are :- Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed-to-be Universities and University-level institutions.

4th Education Excellence Conclave Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: The fourth National Education Excellence Conclave designed by Integrated Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurated by National Chairman BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution Government of India & Chancellor AAFT University of Media & Arts Dr. Sandeep Marwah at India International Centre in the presence of large number of educationists from all over India.

We all have learned enough from the pandemic and trust me that was just the first phase of big change in education system, we all must be mentally prepared for the phase two which is bringing the new and innovative ways of education in the next few years. The education delivery must be smart and extra ordinary,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and AAFT.

Indian education is very popular abroad, but before that we must bring lots of literacy back home. Use your extra resources to support the unprivileged and downtrodden people of the society. People who are in education must make a point to support few students every year. The higher education today has 1050 Universities, 84000 stand alone Colleges and around 8 million students,” added Dr. Marwah also President of Centre for Education Growth and Research.

Swara Samrat Festival 10th Edition Inaugurated in New Delhi

“I also appreciate the gesture of Pandit Tejendra Narayan for remembering his guru Padma Bhushan Ustad Ali Akbar Khan on the completion of his 100th anniversary this year. No creative art especially music can be learned without guru. Indian culture has always given more importance to Guru than the God. I am sure all of us will learn a lot about Indian classical music after the completion of this two-day festival,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

It is our pleasure and honor to present the most upcoming talent of India in Indian Classical Music. It is not only necessary but essential to provide platform to these artists who are of international level and need more exposure in India and abroad,” said Tenendra Narayan Majumdar.

Gandhar Deshpandey Vocal accompanied by Vinay Mishra on Harmonium and Ishaan Ghosh on Table was the first presentation. The second presentation was by Kaushik Mukherjee on Sarod and table played by Debjit Patitundi. Last of the day was Piyush Chauhan and Preeti Sharma a kathak Jugalbandi where Yogesh Gangani and Nishit Ganggani were on tabla, Ashish Gangani on Pakhawaj, Sami Ullah Khan Vocal and Karan Gangwani on Paddhant. The program was coordinated by Classical Vocalist Dr. Mansi Majumdar & awardee Sarod player Indrayudh Majumdar.

The event was witnessed by important dignities like Table Master Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra, Tabla Master Ustad Akram Khan, Sarod Master Pt. Biswajeet, Rai Choudhary, Deputy Secretary Ministry of Culture Abhinav Pratap Singh, Director Ministry of Culture Anish P Ranjan, Kathak Master Pt. AAFT is the biggest film body of Film Federation of India

Association for Asia Pacific Union Conference on World Peace

New Delhi: A powerful round table conference titled ‘World Peace Threatened by Russia Ukraine Conflict and Developments in Asia Pacific Region’ was organized by Association for Asia Pacific Union for the members of the AAPU at WASME premises.

Vice President Dr. K.K. Sharma welcomed all the guest and members and spoke about the organization and its activities. Initiating the subject President J.S. Saluja mentioned the facts and figures of the war between Russia and Ukraine and also revealed the effects it has left on the World economy especially Asia Pacific Region.

“The Keynote speaker defense expert Wg. Cdr. Praful Bakshi stated that World Peace has been threatened by two major global confrontations: the Ukraine Russia conflict and the dangerous and volatile situation developing in the south China Sea, which has further accentuated by the creation of the Quadrilateral Security arrangements between America, Australia, Japan and India now referred as QUAD.”

Ambassador Dr. S.M. Saiful Hoque from Bangladesh shared his vast experience of his foreign service and especially his posting as Ambassador in Russia and Ukraine. He spoke about the international policies of Russia and their military strength.

Ambassador and former Director General ICCR Dr. Suresh K Goel also expressed in his own words with his deep understanding of the subject, the mind set of people of Russia and Ukraine. He discussed the way politicians behave in these kinds of situations and how their foreign relations work.

Patron to the organization and President Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah changed the tune of the conference when he spoke about love, peace and unity through art and culture. He emphasized on culture diplomacy and also informed the house as how Asian Unity Alliance and Association of Asia Pacific Union both have joined hands with 66 governments of the World including many nations from Asia Pacific Region and working together to develop and promote relation between people of India and other nations.

Celebrated 29th Anniversary of Asian Academy of Film and TV

Noida: I cannot forget the day when we launched the first batch of AAFT with forty students and four short term courses on 22nd July 1993 from the premises of Marwah Studios. It was in real the launching of fourth film school of the country but the first in North and first private film school of the Republic of India. AAFT saw light of the day after the great planning and designing of the academy,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder and President of AAFT while addressing the members of AAFT.

“We have learned with time. The whole concept of film making has changed in all these 29 years. If any thing which has not changed is the language of cinema that is Emotions. I am thankful to each one & everyone who all have contributed to the growth of AAFT from a boutique institute to the first Film University of the Nation. I am also thankful to almighty and my parents for their blessings,” added Dr. Marwah.

In all these years we could create nine World Records. We have churned out 20,000 media professionals from 145 countries of the World. AAFT has been rated as the first ten best film schools of the World. We have been bestowed upon 1100 awards including 190 international accolades. The credit goes to the complete team of AAFT,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah now also Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

The address was followed by the poster launching ceremony to mark the respect to the 29th anniversary of AAFT by some of the prominent people of the Academy. The event was attended by the management and faculty of AAFT and supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.
