Two Decades of Sandeep Marwah in PHDCCI Management

New Delhi: Renowned film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and National Chairman M&E BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Government of India has been nominated as the member of Managing Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah Joined PHDCCI in 2001-2002 when Late president Arun Kapoor invited him to join the Chamber. Dr. Marwah started new committee title ‘Media and Entertainment’ under the leadership then President P.K.Jain and had been chair for eleven years till the President ship of Suman Jyoti Khaitan. He had been working hand in hand with President Ravi Vig, K.N.Memani, Sushms Berlia, Sanjay Bhatia, Dr. L.K.Malhotra, Satish Bagrodia, Ashok Kajaria, Salil Bhandari and  Sandeep Somany till 2012-13.

Dr. Marwah was renominated to the managing committee in 2014-15 by President Alok Sriram as Chairman for newly constituted Art and Culture Committee suggested by him and continued to provide his services to the Chamber with President Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Gopal Jiwarajka, Anil Khaitan , Rajeev Talwar and Dr. D.K. Agarwal till 2019-20.

“I am once again thankful to the President Pradeep Multani 2021-22 for inviting me to the Managing Committee of PHD. I am sure I will be able to contribute to the growth of the Chamber,” said Sandeep Marwah.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to the new team of leaders President Pradeep Multani, Senior Vice President Saket Dalmia and Vice President Sanjeev Agarwal on taking over the office at PHD. I have completed twenty two years in PHDCCI and twenty years in management committee ,” said Dr. Marwah also thanking Saurab Sanyal Secretary General of PHDCCI.

15th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema Ready for Launch

Noida: The father of Cellphone Cinema Dr. Sandeep Marwah announced the 15th edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema for which launching function has been planned for January 2022 at Noida Film City.

“I have no words to express my feelings today while announcing the 15th edition of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, which was almost declared as a crazy action on the day of its inception way back in 2008 when Karl Bardosh of New York University and Nitu Chandra renowned actress inaugurated the festival at Marwah Studios,” recollected Sandeep Marwah.

This festival has seen largest number of technological changes. Every year the size and the features of the mobile phone changes, but we continued to have this festival regularly. International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television is still the presenter of this world renowned first ever mobile cinema festival,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The poster launching function and first seminar will be held in the mid of January. The details of the festival will soon be published on the website www.ifcpc.com in few days.

10th Global Festival of Journalism Announced for 10th February by IJC

New Delhi: The well-known and the only festival representing one of the oldest professions of the World -Journalism, has been announced for this year by International Journalism Centre. The 10th Global Festival of Journalism is going to be held from 10th February to 12th February 2022 which is also the International Day of Journalism.

“We all are here ready with the plans of 10th Global Festival of Journalism which clearly states- An Event of The Journalist-for The Journalists-by The Journalists with a quote “Love Peace And Unity Through Art and Culture” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts.

The festival covers large number of programs consisting of workshops, seminars, interactions, poster launches, Observation of special days, national day celebrations, forums remembering leaders of the country, book releases, documentary screenings, news and current affair programs, entertainment, and award functions all the three days.

Soon a poster launching ceremony will be planned at Marwah Studios to start National and International Campaign of the festival.

5th Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh at 14th Global Film Festival Noida

Noida: The highest and the most prestigious award of Hindi Cinema this time was presented to film Producer T.P.Agarwal the designated President of Film Federation of India and President of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association for fifteen years for his untiring services to Indian Film Industry by internationally renowned media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman Hindi Cinema Samman Samiti at the fifth edition in a  grand event of 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021.

Hindi Cinema Bhushan was presented to Padam Shri Anoop Jalota also known as Bhajan Samrat for his long attachment to Indian Film Industry through music. Hindi Cinema Gaurav was presented to known actors like Deepak Tijori, Music Director Hriju Roy, Secretary CINTA & Actor Amit Behal, Actor Rajesh Khattar, Vicki Ranawat, Producer Anjum Rizvi and renowned actor Daizy Shah.

Hindi Cinema Sevi for the promotion of Hindi Cinema was presented to H.E. Lineo Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho, H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Carlos Polo Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Muhammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Juan Angulo Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Kamlesh Shashi Prakash High Commissioner of Fiji, Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Serbia, Roman Masaric Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of the Czech Republic and producer Director Rajeev Chaudhury.

“We never wanted to shift the program to new date. Though things were quite uncertain because of pandemic, we are lucky that the whole event went above the expectations of people.  The 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 saw the footfall of 17000 people with different kinds of events including 9 workshops, 7 exhibitions, foreign films, Indian Films, Director’s Retrospective, films on disability, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Competition segment and Films on Children.

Special events were organized by forums to respect Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shakespeare on three different days of festival. World Computer Literacy Day, Day for Persons with Disability & Navy Day were also observed during the Global Film Festival. National days of Laos and United Arab Emirates were also celebrated.

Regular three days AAFT School of Mass Communication was releasing the newsletter for the festival. Book on Sandeep Marwah was also released on the opening day. The music band of AAFT School of Performing Art was a big entertainer on the first day, followed by Fashion show by AAFT School of Fashion and Design and then the most powerful Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh was held on the final day.

Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts while inaugurating the annual fest- ANIMAZICA of AAFT School of Animation.

“Work opportunities for quality animators and related professionals like graphic designer, multimedia developer and game developer, character designers are in Advertising Online and Print News Media, Film & Television, Cartoon production, Video Gaming, E-learning. Though, these are some examples only. Opportunities exists both with government as well as private sector enterprises. Animation itself is an industry, and as industry it’s on boom,” added Dr. Marwah.

“The animation industry, which was once dominated by the West, has found a new hub in India. Among all the Asian countries, India has got the potential and the creative juices to produce world class animations,” said Vinay Kumar Vikram CCO and Co- Founder of Twin Brains Studio.

“The global animation industry is huge and as an animation artist, you have great scope both in India  and abroad. Animation as a profession is very lucrative,” said  Dr. S. Suresh Kumar CTO Brain Tower of Oman.

A poster of the cultural group –‘Aarohan to Rise’ was released on the occasion. Dr. Sandeep Marwah and all other guests appreciated the vast display of works of students of different classes and departments. Every design, digital paintings, models, animated films, graphics, sketching, games, lighting effects, meant for print industry, television & cinema were par excellence.

Ashish Garg Associate Director of AAFT School of Animation and AAFT School of Data Science took personal interest in showcasing the works of each and every department of both the institutes. He Paid vote of thanks and presented life membership of International film and television club of Marwah Studios to Vinay Vikram Singh & Dr. D. Suresh Kumar the distinguished guests on the occasion. Indo Sudan Cultural Forum Celebrated 19 Years of Its Operations

New Delhi: “I appreciate your efforts and interest in developing and promoting relations between India and Sudan. It is worth praising that you have been maintained the Centre from last nineteen years and ample activities have taken place under your leadership,” said Musab Ismail Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Sudan in India on the visit of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Embassy of Sudan here in New Delhi.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI, the Chair for Indo Sudan Film and Cultural Forum, was presented with an appreciation by the Charge d’ Affaires in a small ceremony at the Embassy for his untiring contribution to Indo Sudan Relations.

“We are trying our best to showcase the best to the World that India and Sudan both have wonderful relations. Indo Sudan Film & Cultural Forum is the window for showcase,” said Dr. Marwah. Film and Cultural Forum was created way back in 2002 under the leadership of H.E. Abdalmahmood Abdalhaleem, then the Ambassador of Sudan to India and nominated Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios as the Chair for this organisation. A 18 member folk art music and dance troupe from Sudan visited India in March 2002 and a special show was arranged at Marwah Studios.

Indo Sudan Film and Cultural Forum has been involved with all the 14 editions of Global Film Festival, 10 editions of Global Festival of Journalism, 5 editions of Global Fashion Week, 7 editions of Global Literary Festival and  14 editions of International Festival of Cellphone Cinema all this time.

Delegated from Sudan have been coming and attending different Summits under Indo Sudan Film and Cultural Forum organised by ICMEI including Global Peace Summit, Global Media and Entertainment Summit, Global Fashion Summit, Global Leaders Summit, Global Education Summit, Global Cultural Summit, Global Management Summit, Global Tourism Summit,  International Youth Day,  and many more.  Marwah has been honoured by Fabouls Times for promoting Indo African Relations. Dr. Marwah also Chair for African Students Association of India.

The Forum got reactivated with the visit of Osman Mohammed Elbasher then the Charge d’ Affaires of Sudan in India. Recently, a fashion show was well received during Global Fashion Week on Sudan Designs briefed Rajiv Mathur Director ICMEI.

Indo Gambia Film & Cultural Forum Meet at ICMEI

New Delhi: “We are honored to receive you at the Global headquarters of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry at Noida Film City. This visit has strengthened the relation between High Commission of Gambia in India and ICMEI. You can see for yourself how we are organized,” Dr. Sandeep Marwah welcomed H.E. Mustapha Jawara High Commissioner of Gambia to India to Marwah Studios.

H.E. Mustapha Jawara High Commissioner of Gambia to India took a full round of all the facilities at Marwah Studios. He met the staff and faculty of AAFT, students of Asian Academy of Film and Television, saw the shooting going on different shooting floors including commercial productions and student’s productions, inspected the postproduction department which was also working in full swing.

The two important mediums of ICMEI Radio Noida 107.4FM & MSTV interviewed H.E. Mustapha Jawara, the Patron of Indo Gambia Film and Cultural Forum. Many new points were generated while discussing the programs for the coming months.

The deputy Head of the Mission Lamin Singhhateh Embassy of Gambia also appreciated the facilities at ICMEI and thanked for the well-designed tour for the Gambian Delegation. The meeting was attended by Buba Kinnteh Finance Attache of Gambia

AASGON Board Planned International Education Meet at New Delhi

London: “We are excited to announce New Delhi as the centre for our forth coming Pre-International Education Leaders Meet and Awards. We have finalized the venue at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The board members of AASGON are cordially invited to be part of this preliminary meeting to discuss the grand show in September or October next year,” said Sandeep Marwah in a meeting on web suggesting and informing about the planning.

This meeting will motivate educational institutions to participate whole heartedly in the grand event next year. This seminar will also encourage education leaders to be part of the final day. Chancellors, Vice Chancellors of the Universities, and heads of the stand-alone colleges will also be invited to brief them about the show.

Sandeep Marwah Invited to Speak in Conference from Indonesia

Jakarta: “United Nations has declared seventeen points for SDGs-and they are are No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequality, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Life bbelow Water, Life on Land, Peace Justice and Strong Institutions and Partnership for the Goals,” explained Dr. Sandeep Marwah in his key note address during the international conference at Jakarta.

The Mega Virtual International Conference with the theme of “Multidisciplinary Hybrid Learning in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals- SDGs” was organized by University of Al Asyariah Mandar from 22nd to 27th December 2021 online.

Dr. Marwah also spoke in detail the requirements by the educational institutions to fulfil the needs of Sustainable development Goals. He emphasized on entertainment, development, Controlled conditions, Communication, attitude, technology, information, and being nationalist.
