Two Day Festival of Films from Kyrgyzstan Inaugurated at Marwah Studios

Noida: “Not very long ago we created Indo Kyrgyzstan Film and Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries through art and culture. The association has grown bigger today with the inauguration of Festival of Films from Kyrgyzstan designed by Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in New Delhi in association with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“Films are the best ambassadors of culture of any country. Film festivals are the best platform to project these cultures. Films have only one language and that is language of emotions,” added Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Kyrgyzstan Film and Cultural Forum. The event started with the exhibition of paintings and photographs from Kyrgyzstan followed by fascinating fashion show by the students of AAFT School of Fashion and Design inspired by the culture of Kyrgyzstan.

“Two-day festival will show case three very important and popular films from Kyrgyzstan. The film festival today in association with ICMEI is one of the major programs to celebrate 30 years of Independence of Kyrgyzstan. It will be followed by many other interesting art and culture programs as a part of festivity. I am thankful to everyone who all have come and brought best wishes to our association,” said H.E.  Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India.

The audience was shown a classic film based on the work of Chyngyz Aitmatov: “Mother’s Field”, as well as feature films of Kyrgyz filmmakers of a new generation “Kurmanzhan Datka” and “Song of the Tree”.All Kyrgyz films made a strong impression on the audience and were highly appreciated by the honoured guests of the ceremony.

“The cultural activities like film festival brings lots of positive energy. Cinema is not only entertainment, but it also teaches us many more things in life through well carved stories,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Noida.

The event was attended by H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Nurlan Zhalgashayev Ambassador of Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Andrei Rzheussky Ambassador of Republic of Belarus, H.E. Gudni Bragason Ambassador of Iceland, and many other diplomats from different countries including Ekaterina Tyuina from Russia, Zakaria Bin Amjad from Bangladesh, Anastasiya Vorakh from Belarus, Deepika Sachdev from Iceland, Azamat Seidibaliev and Aigerim Zhakypbekova from Embassy of Kyrgyzstan.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented mementos to all the dignities. A research book prepared by the AAFT School of Fashion and Design was also handed over to H.E. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India.

Sandeep Marwah Nominated Chair for Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum

New Delhi: “I extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Fleming Duarte Ambassador of Paraguay to India on accepting the Patronship of Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum launched today at the Embassy of Paraguay. I am also thankful for nominating me as the Chair for the organization,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while receiving the memento from the Ambassador.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film and Television. He has created seven World Records in media and has been the recipient of large number of awards from all over the World.

Sandeep Marwah has been Eight times honoured with Honoris Causa from different universities for his untiring work towards films, television, and media. He is the teacher to 20,000 media professionals hailing from 145 countries of the World. He is also the producer of largest number of short films and given opportunity to more than 10,000 young film makers to complete 3000 short films.

Sandeep Marwah has been nominated by the Government as the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, and National Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee of BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India.

Fleming Duarte Patron to Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum

New Delhi: H.E. Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos, Ambassador of Paraguay to India has been honoured with Patron ship of newly formed Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum where Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios has been nominated as the Chair for the association.

An eminent alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School, a brilliant planner and an accomplished diplomat, H.E. Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos has a unique combination of profound knowledge, wide-ranging expertise and outstanding administrative experience.

His comprehensive understanding of the geopolitical relationships and the vision for the future is commendable. His Excellency’s steady and diverse growth as an envoy, a thinker, planner and administrator reflect in his skills and dynamism which helped him to establish many landmarks in his life. Of special mention is his contribution as a President and CEO of the National Petroleum Corporation, as a Director of Central Bank and as a Country Manager in Development International and Multilateral Organisation. He was instrumental and played a key role in the creation of the first Country Development Bank in Paraguay.

His Excellency is held in high esteem and respect for his qualities of leadership and exceptional skills, versatility and pragmatic action. An economist, he has for more than 25 years participated in the several negotiations on trade facilitation, designed finance programs for value chains, including budgeting, program planning, project management, staff training and development.

He strongly believes that global alliances are necessary for the future success and sustainable development of any nation and thus he has been playing an instrumental role in developing alliances for Paraguay.

Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum launched

New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Paraguay launched this morning a new association under the name and banner of Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum to develop and promote relation between two countries through art and culture.

Diplomatic relations between India and Paraguay were established on 13 September 1961. Paraguay opened its embassy in India in March 2006. In May 2012, Fernando Lugo became the first Paraguayan President to visit India. He was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Commerce, and other senior government officials. Paraguay supported India’s bid for election to the UN Human Rights Council for the term 2015–17. On 30 December 2020, the Union Cabinet of India  approved the opening an embassy in Asuncion.

The ceremony took place in the premises of Embassy of Paraguay. ”we are happy to join hands with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. I know Sandeep Marwah from very long time, now this friendship will grow from here and will go to a new level. I and my Minister of Foreign Affairs are very well aware of cultural diplomacy,” said H.E. Fleming Duarte Ambassador of Paraguay to India while releasing the poster of Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum. Later Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair for Indo Paraguay Film and Cultural Forum.

We have been seriously working on international representation of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in Dubai also. UAE hosts more than 200 nationalities doing business, living, learning and touring the UAE.

AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Tourism and NFTC-National Federation of Tourism and Transport Cooperatives of India limited are planning another delegation to UAE soon added Marwah.

Master Class by Sandeep Marwah at Tashkent International Film Festival

Tashkent: “!986 I designed this project of Noida Film City, 1987 it got its clearance, 1988 allotments were made and 1991 the first studio of North India under the name and banner of Marwah Studios came into existence and no looking back,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a master class talking about his journey and Indian Film and Television Industry of India at Tashkent International Film Festival in Uzbekistan.

“Talking about the scale of Indian media and entertainment Industry Marwah informed that India is the largest film producing country in the World. “We make 2000 feature films in 28 official languages. There are 10,000 theatres and approximately 15 million people watch cinema every day. We sell 5 billion cinema tickets every year. Nearly 10 million people are working in media and entertainment industry. This is the sixth biggest industry in the country. We have 950 Television Channels, 325 Radio Stations ad 40,000 Newspapers and Magazines. The turnover of our industry is touching 1400 billion rupees and expected to be 1800 billion rupees by end of next year,” informed Sandeep Marwah answering many questions from the audience.

Noida Film City is growing very well. We have 16 studios; 350 Channels being broadcast to 162 countries. 17000 media professionals are working here, and cascading effect is that 150,000 people are earning their bread from this city.

Marwah Studios has churned out 4500 television programs for 50 channels, being associated with 125 feature films and made around 5000 training films. Asian Academy of Film and Television the first private film school of the country educated and trained 19000 media professionals from 145 countries of the World and given largest number of celebrities to India.

Marwah Films and Video Production has produced 3000 short films and given opportunity to more than 10,000 media professions to make films at the cost of studios. Marwah studios has given 10 major festivas in a year to the Glamour World including Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival Global Festival of Journalism and Global Fashion Week where Uzbekistan has also been partner every year.

Sandeep Marwah Paid Gratitude to Shastri in Tashkent

Tashkent: “I extend my gratitude to Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri the former Prime Minister of India, one of the most lovable man from Indian Politics. The visit to Tashkent would have been incomplete without visiting the Lal Bahadur Shastri Monument created here in Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios on his interaction with press on the occasion of Tashkent International Film Festival 2021.

“I must congratulate the Government of Uzbekistan for reviving the festival as Tashkent Film Festival had been rated earlier as one of the most prestigious festivals of the World. A beautiful tag line -The Pearl of The Silk Road has been very well added to the show,” added Marwah.

Lal Bahadur Shastri promoted the Green Revolution in India in 1965, which led to an increase in food grain production in India. His famous quote Jai Jawan Jai Kisan raised the level of prestige of forces and farmers in very short period of time. His tenure as the Prime Minister was only for 19 months. He died in Tashkent on January 11, 1966.

The show was stole by the renowned film, television and media personality Sandeep Marwah, the seven times World Record Holder in media, while addressing the international audience.

Tashkent: Renowned film and television personality and Chair for Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum Sandeep Marwah was the special invitee at the Tashkent International Film Festival 2021 open today here at Alisher Navoi Cinema Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

“It is great pleasure to attend the film festival almost after two years of Pandemic  in any country to that scale. The excitement and enthusiasm is at its peak. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet film makers and artist from almost 15 countries including USA, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Israel, India, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan,” said Sandeep Marwah founder President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“It is the beautiful amalgamation of cinema and other arts. The grand opening of the festival won the hearts of every film person from so many countries. Music , dance and singing added colours to the show. Tom we will enjoy the India day,” added Marwah.

The festival will move till 3rd October. Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum will highlight all the points of film festival. Large number of members from  Indian Film Fraternity could be seen at the festival. Sandeep Marwah was accompanied by Mrs Reena Marwah.

Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women part Two of 7th GLFN

New Delhi: The well-known and highly prestigious Dr Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women saw its second round of 5th Edition during the 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 in the presence of large audience who appreciated the jury for fantastic selection of ladies.
