Hill Station Theog is Yet to be Popular with People of India-Sandeep Marwah

Theog: “The pandemic has taught us to start considering national holidays and to encourage internal tourism to support the tourism and hospitality industry of India which has been actually worse effected during pandemic. Theog is one of the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh and close to Delhi the capital of Republic of India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism during his stay at Hotel Taj Theog Resort & Spa, 32 kilometers from Shimla.

Theog was Ziladari of Chandel Rajput. It is a town and a municipal committee as well as tehsil in Shimla district in the state of Himachal Pradesh with first settlement in 1902. It is the town of five ridges namely Rahi Ghat, Deori Ghat, Prem Ghat, Janoghat and Bagaghat.

“The mountains, cool weather, fresh air, pleasant hospitality of Himachal people, super ambience, close vicinity to Shimla and New Delhi all have made this town as one of the most attractive places in Himachal Pradesh,” added Dr. Marwah.

AAFT School of Tourism President Sandeep Marwah at Chandigarh

Chandigarh: AAFT School of Tourism and Hospitality Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism and Transport Cooperatives of India limited visited the Union Territory of Chandigarh which is also capital of Punjab and Haryana.

Chandigarh is considered to be one of the best designed cities of India. The city has one of the highest per capita incomes in thew country. The city is cleanest in India based on a national Government study. It has also been ranked as the happiest city in the country. The metropolitan area of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula collectively forma a Tricity with a combined population of over 17 lacs.

“Delhi Chandigarh is one of the important tourism sectors in North India. This sector can be raised to new platform by propagating heavily, the advantages and silent features of Chandigarh. AAFT School of Tourism has Chandigarh in the list of cities to be visited by the students of Tourism and Hospitality,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah in a press conference at Hotel Lalit Rajiv Gandhi IT Park DLF Commercial Complex.

Dr. Marwah took the round of the city to have first-hand experience of the beauty of the city including Chandigarh International Airport.

ICMEI Congratulated Bangladesh on Its National Day

Diplomatic relations between the two countries formally began with the visit of Indian Prime minister Indira Gandhi on 19 March 1972, at Dhaka , where she signed the Indo Bangladeshi Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Peace  with then Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah   is the first Indian to be honored with “Alexandra The Great Award’ for promotion of Art and Culture. He was also titled in Greece during this extravaganza as “Sandeep Marwah The Great” for his seven World Records and continuous efforts to bring the whole World close to each other through art and culture.

International Day of Happiness Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: The International Day of Happiness is an annual event organised by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry  supports and organises the day in association with Marwah Studios, AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

 Many of the world’s leading religions and philosophies promote positive emotions as vital for the well-being of mankind. However, the idea of having a dedicated day of observance for the concept is relatively new.

“The theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is ‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind’ and is in response to the COVID pandemic. As we face an ongoing global crisis together, this year’s International Day of Happiness is a chance to find uplifting and positive ways to look after ourselves – and one another,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

World Water Day Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This Day is an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference.

“Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a program organised by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

The theme of World Water Day 2021 is valuing water. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment.

“If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource. Sustainable Development Goal is to ensure water and sanitation for all. Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone,” warned Marwah.

AAFTians Involved with International Day of Nowruz

New Delhi: Nowruz, meaning “new day”, is an ancestral festivity marking the first day of spring and the renewal of nature. It includes rituals, ceremonies and cultural events, as well as the enjoyment of a special meal with loved ones. New clothes are worn, visits are made to family and friends, and gifts, especially for children, are exchanged.

“Celebrated for over 3000 years in the Balkans, the Black Sea Basin, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East and other regions, it promotes values of peace and solidarity between generations and within families as well as reconciliation and neighbourliness,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and AAFT appreciating the presentation of AAFTians in fashion show and musical performances on the occasion of celebration of Nowruz by Afghanistan Embassy at Srifort Auditorium.

As it contributes to cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities, Nowruz fits closely with WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation mandate.

Nowruz was inscribed as an element in 2009, and extended in 2016, on the Representative List of the intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity  at the joint initiative of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Sinisa Pavic Patron to Indo Serbia Cultural Forum

New Delhi: “We extend our hearties thanks to the Ambassador H.E. Sinisa Pavic Charge d’ Affairs of Embassy of Republic of Serbia in India for accepting the Patronship of Indo Serbia Film And Cultural Forum today,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Serbia Film And Cultural Forum while presenting the certificate of patronship to the Ambassador.

“We are sure that we will be climbing the new heights under his supervision and guidance to develop and promote relation between two countries India and Serbia,” added DR. Marwah.

“I have always believed that two countries can grow their relationship through soft power and business can follow. India and Serbia are maintaining wonderful relationship. India’s relations with Serbia have traditionally been close and friendly since the days of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia,” said Ambassador H.E. Since 1970’s New Belgrade  has two streets named after the leaders of India- Mahatma Gandhi and Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru  with the busts of the two leaders set in that place in 1990’s informed Sinisa Pavic.

Sandeep Marwah Awarded by Embassy of Serbia

New Delhi: The renowned media personality and President of Marwah Studios was presented with a memento by Ambassador H.E. Sinisa Pevic Charge d’ Affairs of Serbia to India in a small event at Embassy of Serbia for his sincere contribution to the development and promotion of Indo Serbia relations from last four years.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been the Chair of Indo Serbia Film And Cultural Forum created by Embassy of Serbia in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry four years back with the support of H.E. Vladimir Maric then the Ambassador of Serbia to India.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the first Indian to be honoured doctorate by two different Serbian Institutions for his contribution to International Culture diplomacy and promotion of Roma internationally.

“We are happy to present this memento to Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his deep interest in Republic of Serbia and continuous efforts to promote business and culture between the people of two countries,” said Ambassador H.E. Sinisa Pevic.

“I am so thankful to the Ambassador for his wonderful gesture. It has given me new energy to work for Indo Serbian relations. We have already planned number of programs and events for the next one year and will move one by one systematically,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah Presented with Painting by Shreethar

A fine work of art – music, dance, painting, story – has the power to silence the chatter in the mind and lift us to another place,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while presenting the life membership of International Film And Television Club of  AAFT to A.P.Shreethar from Cheenai.

The renowned painter A.P. Shreethar presented a beautiful painting to Dr. Marwah projecting his standing posture.” I paint the spirit and soul of what I see,” said Shreethar appreciating the marvellous work of Sandeep Marwah in media and entertainment industry.

.A.P.Shreethar is a self-taught artist. He is a Painter and film maker and enjoy multifarious range of occupations interests and passions. In 1988 he was awarded the Lenin Muzem Award from Moscow and 1994 Mother Teresa Award. He has conducted several group shows and one man shows. His travel includes Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong kong. He strongly believes in Freedom. i.e ‘break the rule’. Shreethar Paintings would positively have the touch of this cliche. His style is contemporary and he can handle any medium. The most interesting facet of his painting is the texture I create over the layers.

The Charter President of Lions Club Gaurav Gupta was also present there. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented and honoured Gaurav Gupta with life membership of International Film And Television Research Centre of AAFT.
