National Day of Wales Celebrated at New Delhi

Saint David’s Day is the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and falls on 1 March each year. Tradition holds that he died on that day in 569. The date was declared a national day of celebration within Wales in the 18th century” said H.E. Julian Evans Acting High Commissioner to India, British High Commission at a grand get-together on the occasion at New Delhi.

We have brought lots of affection from Wales for the Indians and want to build a better and powerful relationship between India and Wales” added Tony Goddfrey of Business Development Inward Investment, Welsh Government.”Ample opportunities are available at Wales for Indians to come forward and invest” said Steve Davies of International Links European and External Affairs Division, Government of Wales.

Sandeep Marwah was appointed as the cultural Ambassador of Wales in 2007 by then the Deputy First Minister of Wales H.E. Ian Wayen Jones during his visit to India. Later Sandeep Marwah was also invited as state guest to Cardiff by the Government of Wales.

Sandeep Marwah is also the recipient of ‘Champion Of Wales’ an honor to develop and promote relations between two states India and Wales. Marwah has been nominated as the Chairperson of Indo Wales Creative Forum by the Government of Wales.

The event was well attended by who’s who of Delhi Political, business and cultural circle including guest from Wales Tony Goddfrey of Business Development Inward Investment Welsh Government, Steve Davies of International Links European and External Affairs Division, Government of Wales.

A high profiled delegation lead by the Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of State of Kano visited world renowned Marwah Studios at Noida Film City to see for himself the working of a ultra modern film school AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television.
A replica of AAFT now is to be established at Tiga, State of Kano by the management of AAFT in shortest period of time. AAFT has already established itself as one of the ten best film schools of the World. It’s a family of 15000 media professionals from 94 countries headed by world record holder Sandeep Marwah.

WPDRF Appoints Young Peace Ambassadors at Noida

Vaidehi Sachin Honored With Life Membership of IJC

Convocation of 82nd Batch of AAFT Held at Marwah Studios

“We have achieved what we had planned few years back. AAFT is giving 360 degree education in media . Every student gets an opportunity to be part of the industry while learning at film school” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television on the convocation of students of 82nd batch.
“AAFT has created a wonderful niche for itself, the whole media world has a word of appreciation for the school” said Charu Verma an educationist from United Kingdom. “We have experienced the quality of education in last one year, we have no words to express ourselves” added Goodluck a film maker from Nigeria.
