81st AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Impressed Everyone

“We have created an international record today by opening 81st edition of AAFT festival of short digital films-the only festival to reach that number in the World” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios introducing guests on the inauguration day.
This festival has given opportunity to hundreds of new directors to showcase their debut film in this festival. Some of the films out of the whole lot newly added to the collection were screened at Marwah Studios including LAG GAYE directed by Eric Wilson, KADAM EK KOSHISH by Neetu Sharma, BHOOKH by Roshan, EHSAAS by Milind, UGLY TRUTH by Gaurav, GOD’S VERDICT by Shantanu, KHAWAISH by Tabish.

The quality of the films have gone much hire as the students have started understanding the need of the masses and the grammar of film making. Students from 81st batch were over excited to receive appreciation from the international guest during 2nd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2014.

World Wildlife Day Celebrated at Marwah Studios

“World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that conservation provides to people” said Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation on 3rd March reminding it as World Wildlife Day at Marwah Studios, Noida Film city

“ At the same time, the Day reminds us of the urgent need to step up the fight against wildlife crime, which has wide-ranging economic, environmental and social impacts” added Marwah who is also the Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nation.

Wildlife has an intrinsic value and contributes to the ecological, genetic, social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, recreational and aesthetic aspects of sustainable development and human well-being. For these reasons, all member States, the United Nations system and other international organizations, as well as civil society, non-governmental organizations and individuals, are invited to observe and to get involved in this global celebration of wildlife.

IWFF Celebrated International Women’s Day

“International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities” delivered Sandeep Marwah Executive President of International Women’s Film Forum at Marwah Studios on 8th March to celebrate International Women’s Day.

This year’s theme, “Equality for women is progress for all” emphasizes how gender equality, empowerment of women, women’s full enjoyment of human rights and the eradication of poverty are essential to economic and social development. It also stresses the vital role of women as agents of development.

“Countries with more gender equality have better economic growth. Companies with more women leaders perform better. Peace agreements that include women are more durable. Parliaments with more women enact more legislation on key social issues such as health, education, anti-discrimination and child support. The evidence is clear: equality for women means progress for all.”Marwah read the message of Secretary-General of United Nations Ban Ki-moon

International Day of Happiness Celebrated at Marwah Studios

“The General Assembly of the United Nations in its resolution of 12 July 2012 proclaimed 20 March the International Day of Happiness recognizing the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.
“The United Nations invites Member States, international and regional organizations, as well as civil society, including non-governmental organizations and individuals, to observe the International Day of Happiness in an appropriate manner, including through education and public awareness-raising activities” added Marwah also the President of Asian Education Group.

“Happiness may have different meanings for different people, but we can all agree that it means working to end conflict, poverty and other unfortunate conditions in which so many of our fellow human beings live” Dr Shobha read the message of Secretary General of United Nation Ban Ki Moon.

World Poetry Day Observed by Asian Academy of Arts

Poetry reaffirms our common humanity by revealing to us that individuals, everywhere in the world, share the same questions and feelings. Poetry is the mainstay of oral tradition and, over centuries, can communicate the innermost values of diverse cultures” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts in a joint function of Asian Education Group at Marwah Studios.

In celebrating World Poetry Day, March 21, UNESCO recognizes the unique ability of poetry to capture the creative spirit of the human mind.A decision to proclaim 21 March as World Poetry Day was adopted during UNESCO’s 30th session held in Paris in 1999.

“One of the main objectives of the Day is to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and to offer endangered languages the opportunity to be heard within their communities” added Marwah also the Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization affiliated to United Nations.

The observance of World Poetry Day is also meant to encourage a return to the oral tradition of poetry recitals, to promote the teaching of poetry, to restore a dialogue between poetry and the other arts such as theater, dance, music and painting, and to support small publishers and create an attractive image of poetry in the media, so that the art of poetry will no longer be considered an outdated form of art, but one which enables society as a whole to regain and assert its identity.

The renowned Cinematographer of well known films like Aawargi, Jurm, Gunah, Kasam Vardi Ki, Ek Bar Phir, Disco Dancer etc and Director of feature film Trichi Topi Wale Nadeem Khan who has been in Indian Film Industry for more than 30 years is here with the film students of Asian School Of Media Studies [Department Of Cinema] on the invitation of Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“Sharing experience with students of Cinema is like spiritual activity for me” said Nadeem Khan while conducting five full day workshop at ASMS and AAFT.” I feel dividing your knowledge with young generation makes you feel more responsible towards the industry” added Nadeem. .Ashok Tyagi Dean [Cinema] has designed the workshop on Camera and lighting techniques for Cinema students and where H.O.D. Rahul Sehgal is coordinating the same.

The renowned cinematographer of Indian Film and Television Industry Nadeem Khan was honored by the life membership of International Journalism Centre on his visit to Asian School of Media Studies by the President Sandeep Marwah himself at Noida Film City.

“Nadeem Khan has been the visiting faculty to ASMS for many years. He is not only associated with more than 60 feature films but number of television programs, documentaries, corporate films, advertisements etc.” said Ashok Tyagi Additional Director ASMS.

“I am proud to be associated with ASMS. It is one of the finest institutes of Cinema & Journalism I have ever visited in the World” thanked Nadeem to be part of the family.

After being part of the creative team in super hit films like Satya, Jhankar Beats and Masti, cinematographer Mazhar Kamran is now ready to release his directorial debut titled’ Mohan Das’ informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios while welcoming the team of feature film Mohandas at AAFT and ASMS at Noida Film City. Talking to the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and Asian School Of Media Studies the Director of the film Mazhar Kamran declared that “unlike its resemblance to the name Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi, the film is a black comedy and derives zero similarity from the patriot.

The film is made on a small scale with talented actors like Sonali Kulkarni, Nakul Vaid, Sushant Singh, Sharbani Mukherjee, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Uttam Haldar, Aditya Shrivastav, Akhilendra Mishra and Govind Namdeo who all were present there to interact with the media students.

Sandeep Marwah also informed that the film is made under the banner of Vertika Films Pvt Ltd. and is produced by Abha Sonakia.

Sonali Kulkarni disclosed and said “The plot of Mohan Das revolves around a man who is lost in his own country” Sharbani Mukerjee added,”. The problems faced by a common man are dealt with open satire in the film.” Replying to the questions of students of Asian Business School the Director informed that the Screenplay of the film is by Uday Prakash, Music is by Vivek Priyadarshan and Lyrics by VK Sonakia and Yash Malviya, Cinematography is by Mazhar Kamran himself, Editor is Suresh Pai and Art Director is Jayant Deshmukh.

Naazuk Saa Modd Launched From Noida Film City

A thirty day schedule of Adeep Tandon venture ‘Naazuk Saa Modd’ has begun today at Marwah Studios. A love triangle suspense thriller is to be directed by Addeep Tandon who is a well known cinematographer for number of prestigious projects like Saaransh, Thikana Censor, Grihpravesh etc. The film is being produced by Swapan Dey and Co-produced by Vikas Garg in association with Marwah Studios, Noida. Raghav Marwah is the executive producer of this feature film.

The film is written by Esmayeel Shroff a well known Director who has scripted this film for the first time for an outside director. Some of his well known film are Bulandi, Agar, Thodi Se Bewafai, Tarkieb, Majdhar, God and Gun, Ahista Ahista, Jhutha Such, Dil Akhir Dil Hai and Police Public etc. The film will be shot in Delhi and Noida from start to finish.

The music for the film has been given by Lalit Sen of (Dhoop, Monsoon, Heera Pheri fame), Lyrics by Nida Fazli of (Sarfrosh, Razia Sultan, Sur fame), Editor is Rajeev Gupta, Audiographer is S.K. Srivastava, Art Direction by the National Award Winner Shyam Bhutkar, Choregraphy by Bhushan Lakhandari of (Devdas, Sawariya, Hum Apke Hain Koun fame), Singers are Mohd. Salamat, Javed Ali, Vinod Rathod and Vaishali,  for Media Coordination Sunil Prashar is associated with this venture.

“I am going to share my 30 year long experience in the industry with my audience through this film” said Adeep Tandon. “Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios is going to lend valuable support to us” he added. 

“I have been writing and directing my films, but this is for the first time that I have scripted a feature film for another director” said Esmayeel Shroff. Aadil Sharma, Hritu Dudani, Mega Narkar and Punit Tejwani are in lead roles in the film informed Sandeep Marwah.

Nazuk Sa Modd By Adeep Tondon

After spending number of years in the industry Adeep Tondon the renowned Cinematographer (Censor, Thikhana, Grah Parvesh, Saransh fame) has decided to go ahead with the direction of the feature film “Nazuk Sa Modd” This is his debut as far as direction is concerned.

The film is going to be produced by R.K.Enterprises in association with Marwah Studios, Noida film City .The most of the shooting has been planned in Delhi and Noida by Adeep Tondon. The story, script and screenplay is written by Esmayeel Shroff who has given number of hits like Thodisi Bewafai, Ahista Ahista, Police Public etc.

One month schedule has been planned in Delhi where already Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Ayesha’ staring Sonam kapoor is in full swing. The production facilities for the complete film is to be taken care by Marwah Studios. “I am thankful to Adeep Tondon for adjusting students from Asian Academy Of Film And Television ( AAFT) in this film” said Sandeep Marwah, president of Marwah Studios.
