Mirnal Sen Honored With Life Time Achievement Award at 5th GFFN

“A great film maker who has brought a wonderful change in Indian Cinema and brought Indian Cinema to new heights at international platform, recipient of numerous National and International awards including the highest award in Cinema- Dada Saheb Phalke Award is the recipient of Life Time Achievement Award by 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012” R.K. Singh read the citation of Mirnal Sen before Sandeep Marwah handed over the Award to Dr. Shoma Chatterjee from Kolkata on behalf of Mirnal Sen.
Sandeep Marwah will be going personally to Kolkata to handover the award to Mirnal Sen who was not feeling too well on the day of award function.

Vibrating Cultural Program by Students of Asian Education Group at GFFN

The second day of 5th Global Film Festival came to an end with a vibrating performance by the students of Asian Education Group including students from Asian Academy Of Film and television, Asian School Of media Studies, Asian Business School and Asian School of Communication.
Musical and Dance performances were no less than any professional group. The film delegates from all over the World in a over crowded open theatre were astonished with the well groomed entertainment.
Sandeep Marwah appreciated and announced special participation certificates to all of them.

Seminar on Cooperative Movement And Film Finance at 5th GFFN

Film finance is the most important part of film making. The digitalization of cinema has brought some relief to film maker but in large nothing moves without money” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFFN. Financing for cinema through cooperative movement was the subject of third seminar at 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012.
Pankaj Rakesh of ASC-Uclan initiated the topic .Then it was case study expressed by K.Hariharan followed by Pankaj Parashar who also narrated his initiative for cooperative movement. Dr. Daman Prakash former director of International Cooperative Alliance encouraged audience to come forward in cooperative finance.
“Manthan is the good example of cooperative finance, and recently awarded film I AM is another example” added Dr.Dinesh Executive Secretary of National Cooperative Union of India. Subhash Gupta Managing Director of Bank Cooperatives also gave his opinion on the subject.
Vinod Lamba the President of Film Federation Of India was never in the favor of cooperative finance as it leads to confusion and mis- understandings. Seminar finished with a very strong note to start small budget films with small finance for small territoties.

Great Show By Dilbag Singh At 5th Global Film festival

It was a great musical evening at the end of 2nd day of 5th Global Film Festival Noida when thousands of young and old film makers were dancing on the tunes of renowned young dynamic composer and singer Dilbag Singh who has been the associate of pop king Micka also.
Super hit numbers from hindi cinema and Punjabi pop fulfilled the third purpose of the festival that is Entertainment said Sandeep Marwah proposing Dilbag Singh to continue as large number of delegates still wanted to sing and dance with this vibrating and thrilling music.

Record Breaking Audience At 5th Global Film Festival Noida

“Even the third day was beyond our expectation, it was so exciting to see all 16 halls full for all the time and reaching to 17500 footfall in three days for a film festival” said Sandeep Marwah happily announcing the 6th Global Film Festival in November 2013.
The participation of film, Television and media professionals from all over India and abroad then huge involvement from mass communication colleges, exciting partaking by school children made the whole festival a popular one. “it has motivated to start preparing for the 6th GFFN” added Marwah.

Workshop By American Film Maker Gabrielle

A workshop-International Story telling for Global Market Place conducted by the American Film Maker Gabrielle Kelly who is also the faculty at Tisch School Of Arts, New York University planned by the 5th Global Film Festival Noida on the first day of the festival.
Born in Ireland, educated in England with a BA in American Studies from the University of Sussex and an extensive filmmaking career in the USA, Gabrielle Kelly is a screenwriter and producer of diverse content for the global marketplace who also teaches in international labs and film programs. She is the recipient of two Fulbright Awards: one in screenwriting at TNUA, Taiwan and the second as writer/mentor in the screenwriting /producing Lab for the ASEAN Independent Cinema Project in the Philippines.
Following a career in book publishing in New York, she worked with NY based director Sidney Lumet and screenwriter/producer Jay Presson Allen on films such as Daniel, Prince of the City, Deathtrap, The Verdict and others. Additional projects developed included work with Andy Warhol’s Factory on an audio-animatronic show From A to Z and Back Again, musical La Cages aux Folles with Mike Nichols and scripts for Malcolm McClaren and CBS Theatrical Films. In Hollywood she ran producer Robert Evans’ company at Paramount working in development and production on a slate of diverse projects and worked as executive and producer with such companies as HBO, Fields Hellman, Eddie Murphy Productions and Warner Bros.

Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum Highlighted at 5th Global Film festival

A forum after the name of modern architect of India and former Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru highlighted at 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 by the distinguished guest Gabrielle Kelly, Pankaj Parashar, Counselor of Embassy of Bosnia etc.
The purpose of the forum is to highlight the ideology of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. A display was planned at the entrance gate of Marwah Studios complex where a young Nehru along with kids, were greetings all the delegates and participants of the festival reminding Nehru’s love for children.

Market Section Opened At 5th Global Film Festival

Display by film companies, book sellers, equipment suppliers, television Channels, TV producers, entertainment stalls and lots of eatables were the part of Film Market at 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 at Noida Film City.
The renowned film director Pankaj Parashar inaugurated the market section where Asian Education Group also exhibited their achievements through AAFT, ASMS, ABS, ASC, ASGA and ASPA schools of cinema, TV and Management.
The participants were from all over India including media companies from Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkatta, Delhi etc.

Grand Musical Show by Ashok Masti At Global Film Festival

Some of the most popular numbers from his own albums and also the popular numbers from the hit list changed the whole environment on the evening of first day of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 when Ashok Masti, renowned singer climbed the stage of GFFN.
Hundreds of delegates arrived from all over India and abroad were charged with the new energy. The bubbling environment of the film festival induced the delegates to dance on the high profiled tunes.
“It is so important to have entertainment for the people who prepare entertainment for the people” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “I have never seen such a charged audience” said Ashok Masti.

Renowned stage and play back singer Ashok Masti was honored at 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 for his contribution to the field of music and singing. Known for his well acclaimed numbers in special designed CDs Ashok Masti paid his gratitude to Marwah Studios for giving Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film And Television.
