Great Grand Opening 0f 5th Global Film Festival Noida

“I am thankful to the 5th Global Film Festival Noida for inviting me to the festival, it has given me an opportunity to understand the size of Indian Cinema and the love of the people of this country” said Sead Avdic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina while lighting the inauguration lamp at Noida Film City.

International Film And Television Club has fulfilled the vacuum of film festival which IFFI has left by shifting its base to Goa” spoke Pankaj Parashar a renowned film maker from Mumbai known for his films like Asmaan Se Gira, Chalbaaz, Himalaya Putra, KaramChand etc.

“I never expected this festival to be that grand, it has supersede many other old festivals in the country. I am honored to be part of the inaugural function” said Anant Mahadeven director of Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Dil Mange More and actor of many films including Baazigar, Kiladi, Gangster, Prem Rog etc.

The formal inauguration was followed by release of first new letter of the festival. The festival attracted delegates from all over the World.

Workshop By Pankaj Parashar At 5th Global Film Festival

“Built up your aesthetic sense and basic instinct for art and culture, I assure you will be a better film maker one day” said Pankaj Parashar to the young film makers while conducting the workshop on the managing film affairs during the first day of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City.
“Pankaj Parashar has given some of the finest piece of arts to the nation which includes television serial KARAMCHAND and feature films like Chalbaaz and Benaras” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.
Pankaj is a painter, musician, film writer, director and animator.

Delhi NCR Hub Centre for Film Excellence-Seminar At GFFN

“Film City, 16 Studios, Hundreds of virgin locations, professional international film school, enthusiastic behavior and availability of trained man power all leads to better and large film production in Delhi NCR” initiated Sandeep Marwah in a seminar specially designed for 5th Global Film Festival.
Ashok Tyagi famous for feature film Riyasat, Dard E Disco, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata all short in Delhi announced his next film again in Delhi.
Dr Shoma Chatterjee well known film critic emphasized the idea. Ajay Sharma President Graftii confirmed his total involvement in Delhi Cinema Scene. Savita Raj Hiremath producer of Khosla Ka Ghosla and now produced Sharafat Gaye Tel Lane prefers Delhi NCR for film production.

Asian Business School Released Journal At 5th GFFN

Anand Narain Painting Exhibition Inaugurated At 5th Global Festival

The Painting exhibition curated by Asian Academy Of Arts for the opening day of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 was of renowned painter Anand Narain placed at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

I have always believed that films are never away from fine arts be it a painting, writing, dance, drama, music rather it’s a display of fine arts in a cinema language” said Sandeep Marwah introducing artist to the cinema fraternity.

“I love doing paintings, but the works of Anand Narain is out of this World. It is worth appreciating again and again” said Pankaj Parashar. I would love to learn painting from Anand Narain. His work is a very expressive” added Anant Mahadevan.

“Cinema is also a big canvas where director paints his thoughts and emotions” said Dr.Sead Audic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina. “We all must encourage painting as it gives ample space to film maker to express himself” said Gabrielle Kelly renowned film maker from New York.

Later the brochure of the paintings of Anand Narain was released by the guest of honor.

Children’s Section opened at 5th Global Film Festival Noida

“It is very important to bring in better and valuable cinema into the film festival to save the values of the country through Children’s film” said Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President of Global Film Festival while inaugurating the Children’s section of the 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012.

“We are thankful to Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India for providing a package of best of the children’s film for this festival” Marwah added.

“Seeing huge enthusiasm of the film lovers, in the festival I am fascinated to submit my films next time in this festival” said Gabrielle Kelly film maker from New York.

“I am lucky to be the part of this festival” said Azliana Abdullah from New York University Tisch Asia based at Singapore. “We need to promote Children’s Cinema by all means” said Lalit Prakash film and TV trainer. Amol Gupte’s Stanley Ka Dhabba was shown after the inauguration.

Indian Classic Films Opened At The first Go At 5th Global Film Festival

The over booked hall with the film lovers and film students from all over India and abroad eager to listen to the opening session of Indian Classical Cinema at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City.

The studio ID of Marwah Studios booked only for classical Indian Films added a tribute to Indian Film Industry celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema with screening of 36 Chowringhee Lane by Aparana Sen.

“1913 the birth of Raja Harish Chandra by Dada Saheb Phalke, the first public screening of Indian cinema, 1931 first talkie Alam Ara by Ardeshir Irani and now 2012 lets salute to all the masters of Indian Film Industry who have left us at such a high platform from where we all can fly to any heights” said Sandeep Marwah founder of film city Noida and President of Global Film Festival.

‘The State Of The Art ‘ opening Documentary At 5th GFFN

Twenty Three minutes documentary “The State Of The Art” got the due appreciation in the documentary section on first day of the 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 directed by renowned actor director Anant Mahadevan at Noida Film City.

The film was introduced by the founder of film city Sandeep Marwah who has created this festival six years back to promote cinema in this part of the World.” This is the most sensitive moment for the film maker when he is present at the time of screening of the film. I am thankful to Anant Mahadevan for being present here” said Marwah.

The screening was followed by question answer session on the subject matter and making of the film.

Global Yog Alliance Will Project Yog At 5th GFFNoida

“Yog is the oldest form of exercise, meditation and body science which has special place in the life of Indians who have believed in this for centuries” said Sandeep Marwah founder president of Global Film Festival Noida.

An arrangement has been made with Global Yog Alliance to highlight and project Yoga during the 5th Global Film Festival Noida to make more people aware of yoga.

A special show by the children has been fixed on 7th November 2012 at the main grounds of film festival. We are proud to be associated with 5th Global Film Festival Noida which has emerged as one of the biggest film festival of North India” said Dr. Gopal Ji President of Global Yog Alliance.

Poster of 5th Global Film Festival Noida Released By Vinay Pathak

The new poster of 5th Global Film Festival Noida 2012 released by the renowned film artist Vinay Pathak at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida depicting globe on the baton made out of film representing the success of Indian cinema and its 100 years celebration explained Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a fully jam packed hall.

“This is a very proud moment for me when I have the honor to release the poster of a very important international event in this part of the World. I will always remember this time” said Vinay Pathak who has been actor in Oh My God, Rab Ne Banade Jodi, Bheja Fry, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Fire, Bombay Boys, Jism, and many more.

“My association with 5th Global Film Festival has added to my prestige” Vinay added. Later Vinay interacted with the students of acting and presentation at Asian School Of Performing Arts.
