The newly launched media school ASC Asian School Of Communication of Asian Education Group in association with University of Central Lancashire UK has joined hands with the forth coming 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 from 25th to 27th November this year.
“The international media school with foreign degree to its credit has brought an international taste to the whole affair once again” said Sandeep Marwah President 4th GFFN. “We are going to give students some special duties to perform in film division as well as in journalism” added Marwah.
R.K. Singh the Joint director of ASC promised to give their whole hearted participation for this international event. “Students are excited to be part of this grand gala affair” Singh added.
Asian School Of Communication is conducting one year Masters and Undergraduate degree programs in International journalism and film production supported by University of Central Lancashire, the fifth biggest University of United Kingdom.

The Asian Business School associated with Oxford Business College at Noida conducting MBA, BBA and PGDM courses along with Media Management have joined hands with International Film And Television Club to participate and to manage the affairs of 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 informed Latika Sahani Dean ABS.
“We will be more than happy to associate the students of Asian Business School along with GFFN. Not only that they can relate themselves to an international event but also will get an opportunity to work as organizers for the same” said Sandeep Marwah President of 4th GFFN2011.
There will be one event every 2hours to be managed by management students for these three days 25th, 26th and 27th of November including workshops, seminars, exhibitions, book release, daily bulletin, luncheon meetings, entertainment programs, Gala dinners, film market, new film releases, press conferences, launches of three short films, new radio programs,
The film segments will include AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films, ASMS Festival of Short Films, WE CARE Festival of Films on Disability, Retrospective of the Director, Foreign Cinema, Indian Section, Focus Country, Film Awards, Children’s Film Section and competition section.

Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi was presented as the master communicator for print media by Gandhian scholar Prof Kusum Chadda to the students of (AAFT)Asian Academy Of Film And Television and (ASMS)Asian School Of Media Studies at Marwah Studios on the occasion of the 142nd birth anniversary of the father of nation.
The event was organized under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Forum at Noida Film City. Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum invited the students to write every day and present their work for publication. He also asked students to come up with scripts for the films which will be facilitated by the school.
Prof Chadda elaborated how Gandhi used print media to fight against the British Raj and forced them to leave eventually through his three newspapers –Young India, Navjivan and Harijan.
Quoting extensively from his writings she established the power and impact of Gandhian commentaries and frontal attack on the empire. She said like Gandhi students should become good observer, writer and reader of contemporary events and use media towards the social service.

“Shakespeare (1564-1616) – the renowned playwright and poet who had impacted the world over areas of literature, culture, art, theatre and film – is considered the best English language writer ever” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
This somewhat incomprehensible genius is also known as the England’s National Poet and Bard of Avon. His writings are timeless and universal in nature. Shakespeare combined poetic genius with a practical sense of the theatre, his skill to dramatize stories is out of the world.
Shakespeare’s style of writing ensures that his plays can survive translation, cuttings and wide interpretation without loss of its core drama. His plays have been translated in most living languages and are to this day, staged across the world. Shakespeare’s literary work consist of 38 play and many poems and sonnets.
The aims and objectives of Shakespeare Society of Marwah Studios are as follows:-
i) Systematic classroom study of the literary works of Shakespeare
ii) Reading and discussing literary works of Shakespeare in seminars and symposia.
iii) Translating Shakespeare’s outstanding literary work in Hindi and other Indian languages.
iv) Staging of Shakespeare’s plays to support the theatre movement.
v) Adapting Shakespeare’s outstanding plays as literature for the children.
vi) Establishing links with the Shakespeare societies across the world.

“Mahatma Gandhi strongly believed that there is no other God than truth and the only means for the realization of truth is ahimsa” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios here on the birth anniversary of Father of The Nation at Noida Film City.
“He practiced satyagraha (insistence of truth) which seeks to eliminate antagonism without harming the antagonist and arms the individual with moral strength.” added Marwah. Mahatma Gandhi urged upon the people to be tolerant as intolerance betrays want of faith in one’s cause. He was of the view that non-cooperation in satyagraha is in fact a means to secure the cooperation of the opponent consistently with truth and justice.
Mahatma Gandhi also believed in non-violence and in vegetarism. He lead a simple life style and advised those involved in public service to do so. Mahatma Gandhi had invented a novel and humane approach to India’s struggle for freedom. He shaped India’s political identity as a tolerant, secular democracy. Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy had influenced famous activists across the world.
