“The film festival has now reached to almost film, television and media persons of 82 countries of the World in last five years. It was Peace and Spirituality which was sheltered in the first festival, Documentary was the second, third time the prominence was on Children’s Films and now it is going to be the World Cinema.” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Global Film Festival.
The Wales Creative Business, Government of Wales through Indo Wales Creative forum recently had a festival of Welsh student films in India which was very well time-honored by the Indian film makers. Now the Welsh feature films will participate in Global Film Festival.
The participation of Welsh Films in Global Film Festival will bring in more silkiness in the cultural relations of two countries.

Indo Nigerian Film Association Now Part of 4th Global Film festival Noida
The seven year old association created by the Government of Nigeria to promote film, television and media business with India has now joined hands with 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN.
Nigeria is now the second biggest film producing country in the World after India. Right now the emphasis is more on short films and digital film making which has to grow now more on cello lied. Nigeria has a US$ 250 million movie industry, churning out some 200 videos for the home video market every month.
Nigerian cinema is Africa’s largest movie industry in terms of both value and the number of movies produced per year. Although Nigerian films have been produced since the 1960s, the rise of affordable digital filming and editing technologies has stimulated the country’s video film industry. The Nigerian video feature film industry is sometimes colloquially known as Nollywood.

The special counter has been allotted to the country Egypt to create an international environment at the complex during film festival. The Ambassador will inaugurate the Egypt section.
Asian School Of Communication Brings International Taste To 4th Global Film festival
The newly launched media school ASC Asian School Of Communication of Asian Education Group in association with University of Central Lancashire UK has joined hands with the forth coming 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 from 25th to 27th November this year.
“The international media school with foreign degree to its credit has brought an international taste to the whole affair once again” said Sandeep Marwah President 4th GFFN. “We are going to give students some special duties to perform in film division as well as in journalism” added Marwah.

142th Birth Anniversary Of Mahatma Gandhi Celebrated
Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi was presented as the master communicator for print media by Gandhian scholar Prof Kusum Chadda to the students of (AAFT)Asian Academy Of Film And Television and (ASMS)Asian School Of Media Studies at Marwah Studios on the occasion of the 142nd birth anniversary of the father of nation.
The event was organized under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Forum at Noida Film City. Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum invited the students to write every day and present their work for publication. He also asked students to come up with scripts for the films which will be facilitated by the school.
Prof Chadda elaborated how Gandhi used print media to fight against the British Raj and forced them to leave eventually through his three newspapers –Young India, Navjivan and Harijan.
Quoting extensively from his writings she established the power and impact of Gandhian commentaries and frontal attack on the empire. She said like Gandhi students should become good observer, writer and reader of contemporary events and use media towards the social service.
