Joint Director ASMS awarded for eminence

The Institutution of Engineers awarded Joint Director R.K. Singh of Asian School of Media Studies for his all round eminent services in the field of broadcasting. He excelled in converting complicated technologies for the common man.
In a glittering function held at Engineers Bhawan, Chairman Union Public Services Commission D.P. Agrawal. Singh had a glorious innings at All India Radio where he was credited with training hundreds of AIR functionaries through innovating new modules.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said he had received many awards but he never felt so honoured because it was for his salient contribution to the cause of serving the humanity at large.
Director ASMS and Asian School of Communication Sandeep Marwah said he was proud to have Singh as his colleague who had brought excellence, commitment and dedication to the culture of the umbrella organization Marwah Studios.

International Literacy Day Observed At Marwah Studios

“We are very conscious about the quality of education to all our national and International students. We believe nothing can be achieved without a proper education and training” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group on the International Literacy Day at Noida Film City.
Sandeep Marwah the recipient of many National and International awards and a teacher to more than 9000 film, television and media students has created five World Records in Media Education covering students from 82 countries of the World.
Smt Pratibha Patil President of India, Kapil Sibal Union Minister of Human Recourses Development, Minister of State for HRD and External Affairs E.Ahmed and Minister of State HRD Smt. D.Purandeshwari also extended their remarks on the International Literacy Day.
A special International conference on ‘Women’s Literacy for inclusive and sustainable Development’ has been organized from 8th to 10th Sept. at Manekshaw Centre by the National Literacy Mission Authority, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India at New Delhi.

Teachers Day Celebrated At Asian Education Group

“Sur Bin Mile Na Saraswati Guru Bin Mile Na Gyan Jal Bin Hansa Yun Mile Jaise Bharat Mile Bhagwan” explaining the meaning of the phrase Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group emphasized the need of Guru Shishya Parampara in the education system to produce better film, television and media professionals.
A collective program to mark the respect to the teachers of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Business School on the National Teachers Day- the Birth Anniversary of Late President of India Sarvapillai Radha Krishan was celebrated at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.
“I am very keen in honoring the teachers of Asian Education Group who all have brought the name of the institution to the World Level” added Marwah. “No institution can reach to the international level unless and until teachers are sincere and devoted to their profession whole heartedly” remarked President.

Jagmohan Mundhra remembered at AAFT

“It was not long ago when Jagmohan Mundhra was there at AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television to promote his film Apartment with his star cast. Who knew it that he will never come back again” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios remembering Jag Mundhra a renowned film maker at Noida Film City.
Jagmohan Mundhra was an Indian filmmaker best known for his early career as an American exploitation film writer-director and his later career as maker of such issue-oriented movies as Bawandar and Provoked.
After his first dramas, Suraag and the socially-relevant film, Kamla, Jag Mundhra directed, in the late 1980s and the 1990s, a string of horror and erotic thriller movies for theatrical distribution and direct to video, including The Jigsaw Murders (1988), Halloween Night (1988), Night Eyes (1990), L.A. Goddess (1993), Sexual Malice (1994) and Tales of the Kama Sutra 2: Monsoon (1998).
The faculty and students of AAFT kept silence for two minutes as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

Anime Convention At Marwah Studios

Marwah Studios has been selected as the venue for the 2nd Anime Convention to be held from 9th to 11th September, 2011. “We are proud to say that Marwah Studios Complex fulfill all the requirements for any International Festival or convention” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios a creative enterprises.
The 2nd Anime Convention shall covered workshops, seminars, exhibitions, talks, Japanese Food stalls, Games, Book Stalls along with the film festival planned this time. “We have left no stone unturned to see to it that convention should be a hit” said Supriya Suri President of Cine Darbar.
Some of the best animation films from Japan and the film Directors are joining this convention who will participate in the events all three days. The event is presented by Japan Foundation and supported by( IFTC) International Film And Television Club also by (IFTRC) International Film And Television Research Centre.

Sandeep Marwah Honored With Jai National Award By HRD Minister

The 19thJai National Award was conferred upon the media baron Sandeep Marwah who has expertise in all the mediums of media including Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media , Events and Media Education here at Hotel Ashok by the Minister of Human Resourses Development Kapil Sibal and Senior Member of Parliament and Congress Working Committee Oscar Ferenendes at New Delhi in a glittering and a powerful function.
“We need to bring in change into our education system to make it available to the largest number of students. We have to see that we should not loose on the quality and authenticity of the education” said Kapil Sibal while handing over the award to Sandeep Marwah the founder of film city and President of Marwah Studios who has created five International records in media .

Sandeep Marwah is the producer of 1800- Largest number of short films, Trained 9000 Largest number of media professionals from 82 countries, he is the president of Festival of Short Digital films for the 71st time, associated with 4000 TV productions, 125 feature films and 5000 training films and also created a World record during Common Wealth Games.

The Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupender Singh Hooda, Editor Sahara Urdu Dr. Aziz Burney, President Film Federation of India T.P.Agarwal, Producer Director Actor Akbar Khan, Renowned Singer Shibani Kayshap and Hans Raj Hans were also present on the occassion.

Wales Film Festival at Marwah Studios

Films made by students from Wales, Great Britain were shown at a festival organized by International Film and Television Club and In association with Indo-wales creative forum at Marwah Studios here today.
Renowned cinematographer Inder Sachdeva who is credited with more than 700
serials gave some invaluable tips to the film and television students of Asian Film and Television Academy and Asian School of Media Studies.
Welcoming the esteemed guests, Cultural ambassador of wales Sandeep Marwah said Wales represent the best in Great Britain and by reaching out to this culturally rich principality of the UK, Marwah Studios has established cultural links for the benefit of students and faculty.
Noted cultural personality Dinesh Mishra said such festival make the world a better place to live and work for. Mustafa Qureshi, noted news photographer from Associated Press was of the opinion that after some time media professional should work to show their best rather then just adhering to deadlines and following the agenda of the organization.
O.P.Mishra, chief visualiser of Indian Express laented that people working behind the scene are the unsung heroes but their work is their own reward.
Hundred of students watched the creativity of their counterparts from across seven seas with rapt attention in the jam packed auditorium.

AAFT Celebrates EID 2011 With Merriment

“There may be different ways to walk on, but the destination still the same. There may be different religion but ultimately all of them teach us humanity” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios congratulating everyone at Noida Film City on the auspicious day of EID.
Reading the message of our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh who had earlier greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Marwah said that the Festival of Eid highlights the spirit of sacrifice and the joy of sharing.
