All the institutions working under Marwah Studios Creative Enterprises including AAFT Asian Academy of Film And Television, ABS Asian Business School, ASMS Asian School Of Media Studies, ASGA Asian School Of Graphics and Animation and ASPA Asian School of Performing Arts have joined hands with the working committee for providing Media Volunteers to the forthcoming Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi.

“We are not only excited but feeling proud to be associated with the Games. We will be part of the history which is going to take place in Delhi from 3rdth Oct to 14th Oct. 2010” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The special training has been organized for the 100 media students by the organizing committee of Commonwealth Games so that they can assist and help all the foreign media teams arriving from different countries of the world to cover this mega event in New Delhi.

The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi is the unifying force for all irrespective of caste and creed repeated Upasna Singhal, Director RHB Relations broadcasting of Broadcasting Committee CWG. Friendship through sports is the theme of baton’s arrival at Wagah Border. The baton will unite the whole country as it will pass through 28 states and 7 union territories of the country.

Sandeep Marwah has nominated R.K.Singh the former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan and Dean Asian School of Media Studies as Vice President, Organizing Committee, Commonwealth Games, Delhi 2010 of Marwah studios.

The renowned film and television personality from Asia Sandeep Marwah the recipient of more than 150 awards and appreciation from all over the World has been nominated as the Chairperson of newly framed Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum- India Chapter.

“I am proud to nominate Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Studios and founder of film city Noida as the Chairperson of IPFCF. There can be no better choice than him” said Carlos A. Irigoyen, the Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Peru in India while sighing the official document on behalf of the Embassy of Peru.

“I am feeling proud and privileged that I have been given the responsibility and charge to develop and promote the cultural relations between two countries India and Peru” said Sandeep Marwah who was excited with this new International Designation. “I will definitely prove my self worth to this graceful gesture extended to me by this beautiful country” added Marwah.

The organization has been framed to develop and promote the relation between two countries through cultural exchange, film and Tv promotion, education, festivals etc.

After the long tiring twelve working days of film learning, the kids were more than excited to look at their final product at Big-Cinema screen to celebrate the premiere of Children’s film at Noida jointly organized by International Children’s Film Forum and Cine Darbar for the who’s who of the city.

The films were produced by International Public Broadcasting Forum for the Children and Written, Acted and Directed by the young film makers themselves under the guidance of Supriya Suri, Anuj Malhotra and Nitesh Rohit of Cine Darbar. The film facilities were provided by Marwah Studios.

“We have to work a lot in this segment, where school students should understand the value of visual media, and use this medium not only to express themselves but also to uplift the society through better cinema.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah studios, a creative enterprises and Chairperson of IPBF as well as ICFF while inaugurating the film premiere.

“I congratulate the young aspirants of film making, and wish them a bright future in this beautiful glamorous field of Cinema” said R.K.Singh Dean ASMS and Vice President of International Broadcasting Forum.

“I am impressed by the wonderful ideas these kids have generated, and their hard work can been seen through these films” said Gurbir Grewal, Jt. Director AAFT and Vice President of International Children’s Film Forum.

In total five films were screened and every director was given an opportunity to interact with the huge gathering in the hall .Later Sandeep Marwah presented certificates to all the participants.

The International Public Broadcasting Forum has announced documentary on the 100 days of Queen’s Baton Relay which started from Wagah Boarder and will finish in New Delhi.

“It is our honor and privilege to be part of Commonwealth Games 2010, that has induced us to go head with the making of another documentary on the ‘Queen’s Baton Relay 100 days’” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Public Broadcasting Forum while appreciating the film makers team which has already started covering Queen’s Baton Relay from last few days.

“I am enjoying coordinating this documentary from Delhi and will see to it that all those precious moments must be recorded which need to be the part of this Documentary” said R.K.Singh Vice President of International Public Broadcasting Forum.

This Documentary will be other than the part of the Multi Media agreement which Marwah Studios has signed with the Organizing Committee of Commonwealth Games 2010.

“No prayers are better than yoga, no exercise is powerful than yoga” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to Global Yog Alliance (GYA). “We are in the circle of Spirituality and feel human when you get associated with Yoga” Marwah added who is also Patron to World Religious Parliament (WRP).

The Global Yog Alliance, an alliance of all the Yoga Federations of the World has decided to hold World Yoga Meet in Delhi in the month of November informed Gopal ji the President of the Alliance. “India is the real camp of Yoga, we are leaders as far as this art of living is concerned, that is why we opted to have three days Yog Meet in India” said Gopal Ji” We are expecting people from all over the World to participate in this International event” Gopalji added.

“The World Religious Parliament is going to support this event, we are not away from Yog and Yoga” said Acharya Satinder while talking to the international press.

All three days events are well planned to keep all International delegates busy with seminars, discussions and research work. The theme of this meet will be ‘The Role of Yoga, Media and Religion in Maintaining Peace in the World’.

The WRP and GYA will be supported by International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Film And Television Research Centre and International Film And Television Club.

Go India Foundation under the chairman ship of Alka Lamba announced 15th August as the day to collect 63000 units of blood donation by the Indians on 63rd Independence Day of the country.
“We want to create a World Record by collecting this quantity of blood on the single day to prove that Indians believe in humanity, and are ready to help countrymen at any time” said Alka Lamba also the General Secretary of All India Congress Committee while addressing a patriotic speech at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.
“We at AAFT believe in one religion and that is Humanity. We all are one family and children of one God” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “We are even ready to install the blood donation camp at Noida Film City to add on to the total collection of blood on 15th August.” Marwah added.

After completion of 18 years in Media, Film and TV education the management of Marwah Studios has decided to launch four new Post Graduate courses in Cinema. The courses are specializations in ‘Film Direction’, ‘Cinematography’, ‘Film Post Production’ and ‘Sound Engineering and Designing’. These courses are along with UGC approved Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication, Advertising and Journalism.

“The courses have been designed by the experts of Indian Film and Television Industry.” said Sandeep Marwah, president of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City. “There are very few seats in these four courses as the courses are very expensive and backed and supported by Indian Film Industry” Marwah added.

“We are more than satisfied with the training facilities at Asian Academy of Film And Television (AAFT), they know their job” said all committee members when they were approached to comment on these courses including David Dhawan, Basu Chatterrjee, Pankaj Parashar, Boney Kapoor, Ashok Tyagi, and Satish Kaushik.

AAFT and ASMS, Asian School Of Media Studies have proved to the Media World that good education can lead to success in the industry. Academy has the strongest placement cell and some of the finest film and television companies including Ekta kapoor’s Balaji Tele films, Shahrukh khan’s Red Chillies, Anil Kapoor’s Productions, Boney Kapoor’s BSK Enterprises recently had campus interviews.

Directorate of film festival, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in association with Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in India announced five days festival of Chinese films to be held at Sri Fort Auditorium at New Delhi from 18th to 22nd May.

“The Idea is to exchange the culture between two countries” said S.M.Khan, the Director General and Director of DFF. “We have decided to have maximum number of film festival and every time our reach to the audience is increasing” Khan added.

The festival was inaugurated by Pyarelal, Jt.secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The films which are shown in these five days are ‘U And Me’, ‘The Law Of Romance’, ‘Looking For Jackie’, ‘Huayao Bridge In Shangri’, The Road Home’, One Hundred Yuan’, ‘Together’, and ‘Fit Lover’.

The festival is supported by Marwah Studios, an oldest film establishment of north India and Radio Noida. “Anything to do with the films, we are ready to support the event” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

Asian Business School (ABS) with its students specializing in Media Management had a wonderful interaction program with the renowned and veteran journalist and now group editor of Sahara Dr. Aziz Burney.

Explaining the difficulties and fun in establishing and managing a News Paper Office Aziz Burey explained the students of business administration the different carrier opportunities they can have after passing out from the college in this field.

The management and the board of Asian Academy of Film and Television, the first private film school of the country have decided to create a separate entity for the acting school of its education society under the name and banner of ‘Asian School of performing Arts’

“It is very important to emphasis the acting course separately as there is a huge requirement of good trained actors in film and television business” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “We need good performers even for our own films. We are providing 100 percent placements to our actors, we are conscious about their involvement” Marwah added.

“I am keen in the progress of acting students as there is no dearth of work for actors in film and television industry. They have to be groomed well and should technically fit.” said the star producer Boney Kapoor.

The acting classes will be conducted by the experts and masters of acting from India and Abroad. Some of the renowned names from all over the World have already given their consent to be part of the training program. The course has been designed by board consisting of Star Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Karl Bardosh of Tisch School of The Arts,NYU and others. AAFT is backed by Indian Film Industry.

The acting students will be provided films by Marwah Films and Video Productions. Asian School of Performing Arts will be supported by Radio Noida 107.4FM, International Film And Television Club, International Film And Television Research Center, International Children’s Film Forum and International Public Broadcasting Forum.
