3rd Savitri Award Ceremony at Saaz Aur Awaz 2010

Savitri Vikas Samiti a non profitable body to promote Culture and heritage of India organized its 5th musical event here at Kamani auditorium in Delhi .Speaking on the occasion Dr.Anita Srivastava, the President of the Society said that “we are here with the spirit of giving something to the society and working for the benefit of mankind through music and culture of India”

The samiti honored Padma Bhushan Ustad Rahim Fahimuddin Khan Dagar who is famous dhrupad maestro with Savitri Ratna Award, Padma Bhushan Ms Uma Sharma the Kathak dancer with Savitri Alankar Award, Ustad IqbalAhmed Khan of Delhi Gharana the classical and ghazal singer with Savitri Samman Award, brothers Madhusudan Barman-Gopal Burman renowned rhythm masters with Savitri Shree Award and Pt. Uday Kumar Mallick classical and dhrupad singer with Savitri Prakash Award.

“I am feeling honored and elevated while handing over these awards to the world renowned artists who are bigger than the life size for their contribution to universe of Music’ said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios who also recite the poetry.

Sandeep Marwah Honored By Council of Chartered Accountants Noida

“It is our proud privilege that a well known and prominent International media personality who has attained World record of producing largest number of short films and has been the founder of Film City Noida, Marwah Studios, teacher and trainer to 7500 students from 73 countries of the World is our Guest of honor on the founder’s day program” said CA Deepak Aggarwal while handing over the memento to Sandeep Marwah.
“I am much obliged to be associated with Noida Branch of Central Regional Council of The Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India (setup under the act of parliament) I would like all the 960 members of this council to be the part of our International Film And Television Club so that we can create some entertainment for the people who go through tense moments every day” said Sandeep Marwah while lighting the lamp on the occasion of 62nd foundation day of ICAI
Sandeep Marwah offered the CA council to start a program on Radio Noida 107.4FM so that common man can be benefited from their knowledge as far as accounts and tax is concerned.

Exhibition Of painting By Rajinder Aggarwal At Marwah studios

“Colours of Paintings may bring lots of new energy in your life” said Ram V. Sutar the great Indian Sculpturist to the young film, television and media aspirants while inaugurating the exhibition of paintings by Rajinder Aggarwal on the opening day of 68th batch of Asian Academy of Film and Television at Noida film city.
“It is our custom to have an exhibition of paintings on the very first day of our course so that students can relate visual media with other fine arts.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy of Fine Arts. “It is important to develop their aesthetic sense to be a better film maker” Marwah added
“Whether it is painting or writing both needs your attention and concentration, observation and feelings” said Ashok Kumar Sharma OSD to Chief Minister of Uttarkhand Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. “I will try my best to highlight and fulfill the vision of my Chief Minister through visual media- the best source of mass communication” Ashok Sharma added who has been the writer of more than 40 books also.
“I can never forget this gesture of Sandeep Marwah who has provided me such a high platform of this level which is a dream come true for any new painter” said Rajinder Aggarwal whose paintings were appreciated by one and all.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Dr.Rachna Pandit, Harshvardhan, Satish Anand, R.K.Singh, Latika Sahni, S.S.Sharma. Later Marwah honoured Ram V. Sutar and Ashok Kumar Sharma with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.

Milenge Milenge Film Team At Marwah Studios

The Kareena-Shahid posters of the film Milenge Milenge attracted a huge crowd of young enthusiastic students to the auditorium where Satish kaushik decided to show the promos to the National press at Marwah studios .There was hardly a space to enter in the hall which was over booked to see on screen this wonderful pair of the Indian film industry Kareena and Shahid.
“Milenge Milenge- I assure you that Satish Kaushik is going to meet you today” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios introducing Satish Kaushik to the over excited audience of this special show.
Answering to the questions by press Satish Kaushik narrated many instances which have left impact on him while making the film. “I am missing my actors today but they are busy out side India for shooting their films respectively” said Satish. “My producer Boney Kapoor is busy releasing film. I can assure you my lead pair they look as fresh on screen as ever or as you would like to see them on screen” he added.
The film is presented by S.K.Enterprises, Produced by Boney Kapoor, Directed by Satish Kaushik, Lyrics by Sameer, Music by Himesh Reshamiya, Camera by S.Sriram, Written by Shiraz Ahmed, Production Designer Sham, Music by T Series and the Star cast includes Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Kirran Kher and others. The film is going to be released on 9th of July.

International Children’s Film Forum Conducts Film Workshop

Taking ideas from Nandita Das Chairperson of Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting the International Children’s Film Forum has organized two week workshop in film making for school Children at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.
“We believe that good ideas for films can be generated by these kids as they are not influenced by the ruthless society” said Sandeep Marwah, President of ICFF and Marwah Studios. “Train them in film production and you will get new ways of film making like a new painting by a fresh painter” Marwah added while inaugurating the workshop.
The film Workshop is conducted by Cine Darbar headed by Supriya Suri in association with Asian Academy Of Film And Television. Some of the prominent film makers have taken keen interest in taking the classes in this voluntary work.
The workshop is supported by International Film And Television Club, who will later organize an event of screening of these short films for public .The event is well covered with Radio Noida 107.4FM. International Public Broadcasting Forum has permitted these school kids to direct four short films in this workshop.

Various skill development programmes of this media school are indeed very powerful and effective she added. Similar sentiments were expressed by several others at the 67th convocation of Asian Academy of Film & Television. Unveiling the plans for the development in-house for a of Marwah Creative Enterprises Group for promoting talented media professionals, Prof. Sandeep Marwah promised that outgoing students will be duly supported in their professional work in all times to come. Bidding farewell and wising good luck to the outgoing students Dean, Asian School of Media Studies, Prof. R K Singh mentioned that Marwah Creative Enterprises Group has just signed an MOU with the Organizing Committee for XIX Commonwealth Games by Mr. Suresh Kalmadi for lending media support to the organizing committee. Past and present students are invited to volunteer themselves in this endeavour, he added. National Seminar On Muti Media at Noida Film City.

Radio Noida Will Cover Queen’s Baton Relay For 100 Days

Radio Noida 107.4FM, a subsidiary of Marwah Studios and part of Asian Education Group preparing and gearing up to cover Commonwealth Games 2010 everyday and will start its special programs on this great International event
“We are very excited to be associated with Commonwealth Games 2010 and we have decided to cover the games and all associated events everyday starting from the entry of baton from Wagah Boarder on 25 june to the end of the games” said Sandeep Marwah the renowned international personality and President of Marwah Studios to the large media gathering on receiving the official agreement from the Organizing Committee of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi under the Chairman ship of Suresh Kalmadi.

Marwah Studios Committed To Commonwealth Games For 100 Days

“Now we are committed to Commonwealth Games 2010 for 100 days after being officially appointed as the Multi Media Supporters to XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi, 2010 after signing an official agreement with the organizing committee.” said Sandeep Marwah renowned International Media personality and President of Marwah Studios.

After crossing 70 countries 1,70,000 km over 240 days, the Queen’s baton relay for the XIX Commonwealth Games will reach India on Friday. The baton will enter India from Pakistan through the Wagah-Attari Border on June 25 at 9.25 am. After a grand ceremony, the baton’s national relay will kicked off. The theme of the event is Friendship through sports.

The Multi-Media Teams ( Print, Radio, TV, Internet and Film ) of Marwah Studios will move with the baton and will visit all 28 states and 7 Union territories of India over next 100 days. More than 5000 baton bearers will relay it across 200 cities. This is the longest Queen’s baton relay ever in the history of Commonwealth Games, said Suresh Kalmadi chairman of organizing Committee.

The baton will arrive in Delhi on September 30, after three day relay in the capital the baton will be docked at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during the opening ceremony.

Commonwealth Games 2010 multi media control room camp has been established at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida under the Vice President ship of R.K.Singh who will control 100 days operations.
